Kizu's focus on the taste of blood was completely destroyed when she heard Shrike's words. Her eyes became wide and filled with remorse and pain. However, the female left a good wound on where she struck Kahvie once she released. Without turning her gaze from the alphess, she responded to the wolf's words.
"True," she sighed, her expression filled with sorrow. "My sibling died in her attempt to bring peace and I believed the first thing I heard. I listened to the wolf's words and chose my path. I had nothing else to believe and nothing else to live for. I only realized that I turned against my sister's words when it was too late. My blood-lust now controls me and my fate is set in stone. I allowed my heart to be immersed in the foolishness of war and it will never be changed. Violence will never solve violence, but I see no other way!"
The tone of her voiced was raised into a self-loathing growl. She looked at her own paws that turned crimson with blood. The lies that where told to her were burned into her mind and refused to leave. The victim of Sallin's cruelty finally turned her back on Kahvie and looked into Shrike's eyes with great intensity.
"I'll be damned if I allow my sister's murders go unpunished. I was told that your hellish pack destroyed my life, so why do you expect me to believe you? Why do you attempt to do such a foolish thing?"
Kizu had now become curious about the wolf's actions. If she attacked them without mercy or guilt, why did they try to tame her? They could have killed her already, but have yet to do so. Why?
"I deserve no mercy, so why do you give it to the likes of me?"
