The scent of blood was strong. She had just intended to pass through, but instead she left a trail of death behind her. It was only one small dog and a foolish one at that. Any Synl dog who stood in her way faced their death. They should know by now that she was a powerful force to deal with. They should know not to cross the path of Kizu.
Kizu looked down at the dog's corpse. How disappointing. He didn't even put up a worthy fight. "Another one is dead and yet my desire for revenge is still not appeased," she murmured to herself as she began to leave the scene of the murder. "Vengeance is such a horrid thing."
The moment she was nearly out of sight, a scent drifted into her nostrils. It was clearly the scent of a Synl dog.
"So another wishes to meet their end. Let them come."

At the sound of pained cries, the border mix became a blur in the wine forest. But, sadly, all too late. Blood beginning to pool near her cream paws, Kahvie leaned down and nudged the small dog who had cried out so desperately, her one last attempt to find some life in him. But he would not stir.
No. This would not go unpunished.
Rage burning inside her, the mutt left the stained body behind, senses focused and paws barely making a sound among the rain-soaked leaves. The killer soon came into sight, seemingly oblivious to the alpha's presence. A lie. The wolf had caught her scent, and Kahvie knew it. Teeth bared and muscles tensed, she leaped to her right, pushing off of a nearby and landing face to face with the red murderer. It was now either words or actions, should this intruder wish to choose from the two.

Kizu let out an angry snarl the moment she realized who the dog who stood before her was. She has awaited this encounter for a long time now.
"Do my senses deceive me or are you Kahvie, the leader of the pitiful pack Synl?" Despite the fact that she knew the answer, Kizu wanted to make sure that the mutt before her was worth her time. If it was truly Kahvie, her chance to avenge her sister's death has here. Her death would force the pack that followed her to crumble. The time was now. She wanted it to end tonight.
"The dog back there was your pack mate, I assume. Being his leader I would've guessed that you would have warned him about the dangers of traveling alone, but I guess you only have yourself to blame for that." Kizu glared at Kahvie. The wolf's eyes were burning like a wild fire- uncontrollable and unstoppable.
"I've awaited the moment I meet you. My name is Kizu and I kill because your pack's actions forced me to." The assassin stood for a moment, creating great tension. "I'll allow you to take a moment to attempt to avenge your pack mate, but I must warn you first. You will fail."

Rallie had been standing by when she heard the snarls and growls of a very familiar wolf.Kizu.Rallie thought. She calmly padded toawrds the direction where the scent was comming from, noticing along the way that the scent was moxed with that of another dog and blood. She stepped in a patch of bushes when she saw Kizu and another dog she didn't know, arguing. How could Kizu do that to the leader of Synl?It was down right outragious! She stepped out from the bushes, hoping not to be killed by Kizu,or Kahvie,
Rallie had smelled Kahvie's scent before, when she had spied on a Synl meeting. She knew that this wolf was the alphess of this land. She had to protect her, even if she wasn't in her pack.Kizu had no right to kill Kahvie.

Kizu averted her gaze from Kahvie and glared at Rallie. She knew this wolf. Why was she getting in her way?
"Rallie," Kizu growled after looking back at her enemy. "You have nothing to do with this. You know why I'm and why I'm doing this. I would expect you to understand. Stand back."
Despite her desire for revenge, she didn't want to kill an innocent wolf. Rallie had nothing to do with her sister's death. The two have spoken earlier so they both understand why they kill. Yet, Rallie insisted on being there.

Rallie walked over and stod beside Kahvie, still staring at Kizu."I'm sorry,Kizu, but I cannot let you harm Kahvie."she said, and she wondered if Kahvie thought it strange that a wolf she hadn't known knew her name. She then stepped up and stood a few feet infront of the alphess, and growled low."If you want to kill Kahvie, you'll have to get through me,first."she said, her fur starting to bristle. She bared her fangs at Kizu, though a day or two ago they were both talking like friends.
"You have no right to kill Kahvie.Your sister's death was a terrible tragety, but you've got to move on.You've killed enough wolves,as it is."she growled, and waited for Kizu's attack,or Kahvie's next action.

At the intervention of another, the alpha growled deeply in warning. She didn't know this wolf who now blocked her way, and while she was sure she had good intentions, she did not wish for another's help.
"I have to ask that you move out of the way. This is my fight, not yours. If I should fall, you may fight for me, but until then..." She did not finish her sentence, but merely placed a paw on the wolf's side in an attempt to move her slightly, giving the mutt full view of her enemy once more.
"And as for you...I don't know who you are, but I am indeed Kahvie."

Kahvie has done Kizu the favor of keeping Rallie out of the way. She was glad that she did. The battle was only between the alpha and the assassin. Nobody else would interfere.
"Kahvie of the Synl pack," Kizu said with an angry tone. " Because of what your pack did to me, you have sealed your death. You couldn't possibly know how long I have awaited this moment. At last, my sister's death will be avenged."
Almost as soon as she had finished speaking, Kizu attempted to bite the dog's leg. If her jaw made contact, it would give Kahvie a good limp and give Kizu the advantage she needed.

Rallie understood the alpha's intentions, and she stepped out of the way,her fur bristling in excitement. She didn't know who's sie to be on.Kahvie's or Kizu's.It was going to be a good fight, but the outcome would be horrid, however, because on of the dogs would end up getting killed, and no one wished for that to happen.

"Damn!"
While Kahvie had expected an attack from Kizu, she certainly did not expect it while Rallie was still in the immediate area, and had barely enough time to move to avoid the low attack. Not all was clear, however, as Kizu's teeth still managed to tear through fur and skin. Pain searing through the right foreleg, she buckled slightly, catching sight of her attacker's back thigh. She would take the risk of clamping down on the area, letting go quickly after, should she hit her target.

Another wolf strode through the trees, but this one had given her allegiance to Synl’s Alphess. She heard their exchange of words, and did not hurry her pace. She had merely been exploring her new home when she had heard their voices, and changed direction. She’d overheard the Alphess’s firm refusal of any help from this other intruder, Rallie, and didn’t intend to make the same mistake. Instead she stopped and sat by a tree nearby, comfortable enough on a large, protruding root.
Her usual smooth, pleasant voice suddenly had a low, dangerous tone to it as she spoke. “Wolf, if that dog you’re trying to sink your ragged excuses for fangs into falls, you’ll hit the ground before she finishes dropping.” She said what she meant. Shrike wasn’t a super-warrior, but she knew enough about fighting to seriously wound, if not kill this unwelcome guest. The codes and values practically beaten into her during her youth forbade her to turn away from her Alphess’s side while she was in danger as well.
She watched silently, apprehensively as the beginning blows were exchanged. She tore her eyes away long enough to study the other one, Rallie. She was near Rallie, a few yards away. She turned her head and gazed steadily at the female wolf for a moment, before in a slightly less warning tone of voice, she said her mind to Rallie, too. “You’d better not try anything funny either - particularly jumping in to help the other wolf. I’ll deal with you if I have to.”
She turned her head again to the side a bit, at an angle so that she could keep on eye on the fight and Rallie both. Now it was even - two outsiders and two of Synl, as it should be. The only worry showing on Shrike’s form was the anxious twitch of the tip of her tail every now and then, agitated that she could not join in and help Kahvie fight, feeling edgy sitting out - but she had no choice, and accepted the situation as it was.
(ooc) I can delete this if you want, if you think the thread might be too crowded or something. Just thought I'd even up the numbers so that Kahvie doesn't run the risk of getting set on by two attackers at once. x)

With a small yelp of pain, Kizu felt Kahvie's powerful jaws on her thigh. Ripping away from the dog's hold on her, she sidestepped and created some distance between them. Despite the blood Kahvie has drawn, Kizu's will to fight has not diminished. She circled her enemy for a moment before pouncing. She had every intension to strike Kahvie in the side and possibly knock her down. Putting all of her strength into the attack, Kizu prayed that it would work.

As the mutt felt her teeth sink in, blood was quick to meet her tongue. Satisfied that she had made contact, and not wanting to leave her side open to attack for much longer, she tore away as Kizu recoiled. Distance now growing between the wolf and dog, Kahvie was allowed a moment to look her attacker in the eye before Kizu attempted to strike once again.
Even as she braced herself, the weight of the blood-red wolf was too much for the alpha's smaller frame, and she was thrown to the ground in an instant. Realizing that her stomach was now exposed to attack, Kahvie would attempt to kick out at Kizu with her left hind leg to hit her in the side of the face, giving the mutt a small window of time to get back up on her feet if successful.

Rallie looked at this new wolf, one she was not familiar with."Keep your paws away from me,dog.I do not intend on fighting anymore."she said calmly, and then she averted her gaze to the fight again. She couldn't help but wish to fight alongside this dog,but as Kahvie had said,it was her fight, not Rallie's.

Shrike bared her teeth at Rallie. “I’m no dog, pup. And I’m here to keep an eye on you - an intruder in Synl, and a wolf as well. I, too, am a wolf - but I am also of Synl. You could be from Sallin, for all we know. So I don’t trust you - and I will be watching.” She snorted and returned to keeping an eye on the fight, sucking in her breath tensely as Kahvie was thrown to the ground - but she was still holding her own for now, and Shrike stayed put.
