Rallie rolled her eyes at Shrike and went back to watching the fight. She didn't like this wolf. She couldn't stand to watch the fight anymore when she stood and padded into the forest, laying down in the middle of two large tree roots the patruded the ground. She looked on,trying to see into the forest, her eyes full of undaunted wisdom of past things to happen.
Rallie sighed and flicked her tail once, and perked up her ears.Even if she wasn't watching the fight, she could still listen to it.

Kizu smirked as she witnessed Kahvie hit the ground. However, before she could attempt an attack again she felt her enemy's leg strike her. She stumbled back a few steps, forcing herself to stay on her feet. While Kizu was regaining her balance, Kahvie was given time to stand.
"You have more fire than I give you credit for," Kizu muttered as she watched for the dog's next attack. "This will be an interesting fight."
After speaking to Kahvie, she looked at Shrike out of the corner of her eye. "Don't you dare interfere, wolf," she barked. "I told the other one who dared to interfere the same thing I'll tell you. This does not concern you. Because you carry the scent of Synl, I will not hesitate to rip you apart."
Now with her mind focused on the battle, her glare returned to Kahvie. Kizu ran toward her with her jaws open wide. If she managed to hit her target, Kahvie's side would be ripped open. The wolf intended to open the wound wide enough to make bleeding to death a possibility for the mutt.

Rallie sighed and layed her head down on one of the roots, wondering how the fight would end.She closed her eyes and thought about Kizu, her new found friend, and about Kahvie, the alpha of the pack she wanted to join.Who's side should she take?It was a question that whirled in Rallie's mind, and she was unable to quell it.

Kizu's teeth flashing as she charged the mutt, Kahvie barely managed to swivel out of the way, feeling the heat of her opponent's breath as her dangerous jaws brushed past.
"Fire, indeed."
Rearing up on her hind legs, Kahvie would attempt to bring her forepaws down on Kizu's side in order to possibly knock her off balance, or, should she be lucky, knock her the ground with considerable force.

Shrike proceeded to ignore Rallie, who she’d judged not to be a threat. That’s not to say she wouldn’t be at her throat if she suddenly attacked, but for now she didn’t bother to keep an eye on her. Turning back to the fight, only a moment had gone by before Kizu’s words reached her ears, infuriating her.
“Rip me apart, huh? You’re nothing more than a disgruntled Kerl, a wolf that doesn’t know what to do with itself. As Rallie says, if your sister died at Synl’s jaws it was only because she was loyal to Sallin! We do not kill without need, as you do.”
Her words were part fury at Kizu’s claim, and part distraction in the sense that it might pull Kizu’s attention away from the fight long enough for Kahvie to get in a good strike. Snarling, she paced in a short ways back and forth along the sidelines of the fight.
“I assure you, wolf, this pack does not kill to give itself the upper hand in all but the most extreme cases. We fight because Sallin pushes us to, and for that reason alone we fight them.
Instead of rashly attacking our leader, perhaps you could shut your jaw and fight down your bloodlust long enough to in the very least inform us of why you’re fighting with us at all?” Her anger had died down a little to make room for curiosity, despite herself wanting to know why Kizu was hated them so badly.

With great impact, Kahvie's forepaws struck Kizu. Desperately, the wolf attempted to regain her lost balance. The very moment she did she whipped around and starred Shrike straight in the eye. The light of the last coals in a dying flame could be seen in her expression.
"What the hell do you think you are saying?" Kizu snarled with incredible rage. "Why do you speak such lies? Is it because you wish to attempt to fool me to protect your leader or is it because you do not remember what happened? My sibling was not a fool! She would never pledge loyalty to any pack that would charge into a war with no concern of the consequences!"
The fur bristled on her neck as she focused on the Synl wolf. "Years ago, your damned pack murdered her to keep her out of your way! Because of her wisdom and her dreams of peace, you were loosing reinforcements. You murdered my sister merely for believing in something and fighting for it! That is enough of a reason for me to kill! How dare you say that I am one to kill without need?"
With a loud growl, her eyes returned to Kahvie. "Now, mutt. I will end this. Your pack has hurt me and now it will pay the price." Kizu didn't care if Shrike or Kahvie had anything left to say. She dashed forward and attempted a powerful strike to the alpha's throat. If she made contact, she would be able to drag her opponent into the ground and be ready to make the final blows.

[anyone else allowed to step in, or woul dyou prefer I keep my silly feline nose out of it?] I don't know what she'll do in the thread because Shrike and Rallie are already just sitting around on their tails while Kizu and Kahvie fight, so if you join I wouldn't expect to actually do much of anything.

She had been napping, she thought crossly, satin black ears pinned to her broad skull. The noise of canines fighting and shouting in the nearby woods awoke her from her slumber.
She rose to her feet and began to slink through the woods, her body language making her crossness at being woken known, loudly.
Apon coming into the clearing, only one ear swivled forward to watch the preceedings, her sqaure muzzle still set with irritation. Never missing an oppurtunity to be the loud angry lioness, she cleared her throat and opened her large maw to roar across the clearing, the desired effect being to stop them in their movements for at least two seconds.
" WHAT IS THIS RUCUS!?"

Shivering from shock, the alpha took in Kizu's words. Sister? Whatever bone this wolf had to pick with Synl, it wasn't within Kahvie's knowledge. But the dog had no time to question, only to react as Kizu rushed her once more.
Teeth gleaming in a silent snarl, Kahvie bcukled as Kizu's jaws wrapped around her throat. Having intentionally caught the blow at an angle, however, the wolf's teeth failed to sever any major arteries. Still, pain shot through the dog's neck and body, and she let out a rough cry in response. Her skin had surely been broken by the larger canine's blow...the alpha only hoped that she would not bleed heavily from the wounds.
Somewhere in the distance, the roar of a large cat was heard. Hoping this new intrusion would catch the other off guard, Kahvie would attempt to free herself, risking further damage to herself by tearing away forcefully. If she were to fail, the alpha would take the chance to try and get a few words in, questions as to why this female had such hatred toward her pack.

Bristling, Shrike's fur along her back spiked. Her tail and legs stiffened, and her lips curled back to reveal the sharp ivories beneath. She roared back just as vehemently, outraged at the accusations. "Synl is a peaceful pack! We don't want war any more than your sister did. There has been some misunderstanding—someone has fed you lies, and you swallowed them without a second thought. Didn't you ever stop and think about just who had told you about her death? Don't become a murderer on a basis of lies! Would your sister have wanted this, fighting violence with violence? You sully her name with this bullshit."
Shrike was taking a gamble here, but a necessary one. It was obvious that Kizu wasn't thinking straight, blinded by rage—desperate to somehow avenge a loved one's death. But even if the pack really had killed Kizu's sister, this was no way to make settle the score—two wrongs don't make a right. She wondered if Kizu knew that, but ignored it in her need. Her attention was distracted for a moment by the roar of a large feline, whom she turned to. A glance told her that this was a lion, and her brow furrowed with annoyance. This was no place for cats; they belonged either in Semone, from what she knew of the other lands.
Sighing, she addressed the feline. "Calm down! The situation is bad enough without someone barging in and roaring in our ears. This is what happened; that wolf there came upon my alphess and attacked, angry because she believes that Synl murdered her sister, which isn't true. Someone, probably from Sallin, lied to her about it to cause trouble. She's too enraged to listen very long to anyone, and this should be handled delicately or someone is going to get badly hurt!" She turned away from the cat, tensing as Kahvie was injured. Shrike would throw herself into the fight immediately if Kahvie simply gave her the signal, but she respected Kahvie's decision to keep this her fight.
However, if things got any worse she would disregard the command in order to protect Kahvie. Gathering her breath, Shrike tried to get through to Kizu again. "You said your sister was trying to help spread peace? Is this what you call peace?! Back down for a few seconds, and let us talk to you! You speak of your sister lovingly, and yet you act completely against her beliefs. What kind of disrespect is that?" She was grasping at anything that would make Kizu stop and talk for a moment, and actually listen. She was bewildered that Kizu would believe her sister died trying to spread peace, only to turn around and try to avenge her with violence, the exact opposite of what her sister had been promoting. Watching the fight helplessly, she hoped to whatever higher powers there might be that the sun wouldn't set on a scene of spilled blood.
