The wind blew gently through the trees, cooling the evening as the sun fell beyond the horizon. A tan figure could be seen, to most she was a blur, running at her top speed simply racing the wind. To those those who knew her she was a dog running from her sadness, unable to get away. Dakota had been running for quite some time. She was trying to find the Synl pack as well, but her mind was still upset. She felt a deep sharp pain hit her stomach, Dakota slowed down to a stop letting her head droop as she panted. The wind blew through her fur, whipping the torn rope in her face. Her stomach roared in hunger. Kota had not eaten since yesterday let alone all of the running cramping her empty stomach. After a few minutes of resting the pain in Dakota's stomach weakened. She lifted her head and howled a deep long note, to call for any members that could allow her to join. Dakota carefully lay herself on the ground as she stared down at the deep red cloth around her leg. A sigh escaped her maw. As much as she tried not to Dakota could not help but think of her best friend and how she left her with only a pat on the head. She lifted her ,aw to the sky and looked at the darkening sky. "Why?... Where did you leave me to go?" Dakota sighed holding back the tears that seemed too dried out to fall. (I need acceptance, but any may join!

Crimson eyes followed the other fae's movements from the shadows. Black ears were pointed in the she-wolf's direction when the breeze ruffled the white fur on the nape of the femme's neck. Kross waited in the shadows of the Synl territory. Although she wasn't a part of the rogue dog pack yet, she tried to keep track of the dogs and wolves in the area.
There was no reason to show her presence to this female, she was not part of the pack. But perhaps she would follow her for a while, just to see if she would draw some of the packmembers out into the open. She backed away from the edge of the trees back into the forest. Her white fur was a dead giveaway to anyone who saw her, so she kept to the shadows.

Another deep sigh drew in all the scents around her. A few small creatures, the fresh tree scent, and... a faint canine, perhaps a dog? Dakota smelled a canine, but she was unsure how close and if it was a recent scent, her sense of smell was not as high as most. Even if there was a dog nearby, if they wished not to show themselves that was there choice. Deciding to see if anyone was near, Kota tried to speak to them if they were there.
"If you are hiding in fear of me, there is no reason, I am only dangerous to myself, not others."
She spoke looking around slowly in each direction. After a second she lay her head on her paws again.
"Fina, as you wish!"
Dakota smiled to herself as she spoke to the canine, that may or may not be somewhere near.

Kross's lip curled back in a silent laugh. Her? Afraid? That was assinine. The black and white hybrid kept hidden, since the other female was unable to tell where she was. Unlike Dakota, Kross had an excellent sense of smell, and hearing as well. Her tail swished slightly as she crouched in the brush.
Dakota lay back down and Kross untensed her muscles out of the hunting crouch. This she-dog was no threat. Kross's wolf ears swiveled around, trying to catch the sounds of the territory. Her tail was long, like a wolf's, but fluffy, like a husky's. Her shoulders were a German Shepard's, while her hindquarters and paws were all wolf. There was no doubt that she was a hybrid, which was part of her reason for hiding.

Out from the westerdly area of the forest came a rather average height male. His coloration was unique in that he was a BorderCollie Grey Wolf hybrid.
He was gently padding his way across the path when he stopped to get some caked mud out from between his paw pads on his hind foot. It irritated him so that he practically ripped the clot of dirt out with a few strands of fur as well. He shook his entire body soon afterwards.
He smiled panting lightly as he passed through. His gaze seemed delightful yet distant.

Another canine scent came to Dakota's nose, this time she knew that it was nearby. She slowly rose to her large snow white paws, she then lifted her maw to the sky again, this time her howl was low and quiet, inviting the canine to come and say hello.
She sat down and looked down at her paws in thought. Dakota's stomach roared with hunger again. Kota bent over and cringed, trying to get her mind of the pain. The pain lessened slightly, so she stood up again, and shook her pelt.
(So short, but I am eating so yeah...)

He quickly turned his ears to the source of the invitation. He slightly wagged his tail as he scowled the wind for the scent of the other, once he caught the scent he instantly knew the other was female and a somewhat playful smirk came across his face.
He held his head high, but his tail was lowered so just incase he ran into an alpha he wasnt to offend her in any way.
He pushed his way through the tall grasses surrounding the near by area and peeked his head right next to Koda with a panting smile on his lips.
"You called?" he said playfully to her as he looked slightly to his right and checked her over.

Kross remained silent and hidden, trying to see what this new male would do when he met the sandy fae known as Dakota. She had lifted her head and tossed it slightly, causing her fur to flip away from her eyes and her scarf to reajust on her ears.
Maw opening slightly, Kross gave a yawn to the world. This waiting game seemed to last forever, but Kross didn't really mind. A warrior had to be patient at all times.

He lightly bowed to the other female and smiled. His unique pelt made him stand out and yet blend in with the shadows. His torn ear and scars on his upper body suggested that he wasnt as much of a wuss as his deminor made him appear to be.
"My name is Kalsyfer, im simply passing through. but i guess i could stay a tad longer if thats okay with you?"
He lowered his head and his right ear lifted slightly in a somewhat questioning manner as he heard a very high pitched sound come from withing the bushes/ trees somewhere.
He simply smiled and kept his calm as he sniffed the air to determine the other creature near them. He could tell by the scent that it was another female, but not like this one. This scent was more outspoken if said. He looked to his right into the forest.
"are you going to show yourself as well Mada'm?" He said jestfully with a smile upon his scared face.

Dakota watched carefully as Kalsyfer, slowly came into view and popped up right next to her. She noted his polite introduction and smiled.
"Well hello Kalsyfer, I am Dakota, but please call me Kota. And no I don't mind at all, I could really use some company."
Dakota tried not to let her voice sound tired and sorrowful as usual, and she did a rather good job at it. She did need some company, she rarely stayed in place for a long period of time, always running, she never got a chance to make friends or become part of a pack until now.
When the male called out to the bushes to the other fae, that Dakota believed to be there earlier.
"So there is someone there, I thought I was just smelling things!"
Kota laughed and followed Kalsyfer's gaze for a minute before turning to look back to him.

Kross's tail twitched in annoyance at the fact that the male had sniffed her out, but other than that she made no movement. These were not Synl packmembers, so it didn't seem to be the right time to show herself just yet.
Still crouched below the brush Kross was safe from the stares of the other canines, but if they came too close she would have to act upon the warrior code.

Having picked up the scent of approximately three new beings, Kahvie now hastened through the forest, eyes focused on the ground below in order to watch out for any twigs or newly-fallen leaves that might give her away as she approached. However, she kept her ears pricked forward, picking up howls and the sounds of distant voices as they floated along on the cold air. It was dangerous to approach newcomers, just as it was dangerous to watch over a pack. There were intruders, and even those who decided it would be a good idea to oppose the alpha. Luckily, the latter had yet to occur.
Two canines now in sight, Kahvie stopped and lowered herself, gray eyes studying both the area and individuals ahead of her. She was quick and cunning, true, but the alpha was still on the small side, and rushing out to meet two newcomers was a risk she need not take. Had the Beav been with her, it may have been different, but even then, he wasn't much a fighter himself. Damn, Synl needed much more help, especially with the threat of Sallin heavy in the lands outside. Alas, the pack was still small, and would have no chance when faced against an army of wolves.
Still tense, Kahvie allowed herself to come closer. These canines did not seem too dangerous, a Siberian husky and a border collie cross of some sort. Of course, the scars on the male did unnerve the alpha some, but as he talked to the female in front of him, he seemed none too deadly. Well, you could never judge a book by it's cover, no matter how benevolent said book appeared from a distance. You had to read to see what was inside, and approaching was the first step.
"You two..what is your business here?"
Another was near. The mutt turned her head toward the trees to her left, never once taking her eyes off the others as she did so.
"And you...show yourself."

Her dull sense of smell did not allow her to know that Kahvie was there until she spoke. Dakota's attention when strait to the alpha, she noted Kahvie's authoritative voice and posture, knowing right away she was an alphess. She lowered her head and tail.
"I am Dakota, and I wish to join you..."
Her voice was low yet loud enough for Kahvie to hear. Again Kota looked to the bushes, wondering who it was and why they would be hiding. A worried thought flashed through her mind, one would normally hide if they were scared, a spy, or about to attack. And this creature, had no reason to hide from fright.
Dakota's stomach began roaring again, her hunger and the bit of fear mixed in Kota's stomach, causing more pain. Dakota, trying to ignore it as usual slowly sat down, still looking to the bushes, and keeping her senses sharp.
