Through some very very narrow gaps the cunning rabbit observed life outside his protective circumference. The frustrated growls of the wolves made him chuckle mentally, and a devious grin rolled up the young mammals face. He knew, just, somehow knew the wolves would be stupid enough to try and obtain him by leaping forth into the nettles.
But of course, Lucian, the one leaping in without worry of being scratched, was a fool. The bushes were so thick, pads would be ripped, eyes may be stabbed, sides would be pricked and cries would utter into the silence of Arnlan.
The rabbit rolled onto his sides, now having regained his breath. His ears flickered and he crawled, still on his side into the most dense area of the bushes, which was not the middle, Where this was the wolves would be unaware, but the male was still concealed within the jagged coating.
Smirking, the adapted male began nibbling upon a ripe berry that had dropped from the bush. His lips became stained with the delicious purple juice. The animal was mocking the wolves even though they did not know it. The cry of the wolf was just waiting to sound in the rabbits ears because biting, slashing, jumping whatever... whatever the male done to the foliage, he would be hurt...

The form of Sofika would not have been detected, even if the two wolves had been able to spare the time to pay attention to their surroundings. Like lightning she would appear before them; the shadows coiling around her ghastly form, and a growl would arise from her dry throat. Her teeth would be bared, lips would be wrinkling and she would swiftly move across the land to the male, who was situated mid air. Regardless of how mucky the earth was, she snaked along, with a bristled tail erect, and low angry growls escaping her clenched teeth.
Lucian, was a fool for putting himself in such danger. And why had Akisame not stopped him- preventing her pack mate from injury? Sofika saw not how he would accomplish Akisame's task by jumping into the nettle bush. The rabbit would know, that the wolves despite their efforts, would never reach them and so would not flee into the jaws of the female. And what was it worth? Cut paw pads were no laughing matter. Sometimes they healed, other times, one could not properly walk for the remainder of his life. What good would the brute be then to Arnlan?
He would never become a warrior.
" Lucian! " she growled, loudly. Sofika was not happy. She was not happy that her wolves gave no regard for their own safety. She was not happy that Akisame had not tried to stop Lucian. She was angry that Lucian, who she thought highly of, and would expect a more sensible approach to such a situation. A grunt erupted from the powerful female's maw, as she sprung swiftly into the air. Hopefully she would catch the male before he connected with the plant. No doubt she would.
Her aim was so precise that there was absolutely no chance she would miss crashing into Lucian, knocking him away from the danger he had so easily flung himself at. Her slender body would collide with his muscle one, and he would fall with a smack to the ground. Muck would splash about them, matting his fur and missing her whole self by inches. Then her paws would be on either side of him, kneading the mud angrily, holding him firmly to the earth.
" Lucian you idiot! What do you think you are doing? " she would yell at him, if she were to catch him. And her maw would point at his face, her nose close to his, and she would heavily pant whilst over him. Sofika was not happy. Not one little bit. He had better have a good explanation for this action. Oh yes he better.

Lucian sprung into the air, aimed directly at the hole in which the rabbit had so easily scampered into. His large black form flew through the air, all of his attention aimed at helping Akisame capture the rabbit. The low almost inaudible growl that came from Mistress Sofika jolted into Lucian's ears as he was in mid-air. He knew there was no way he was going to be able to dodge her attack and thrust against him, so he let it happen.
His body flung to the ground almost limp-like, as his fur became matted with the grimey mud. His body slid to a halt and soon after Mistress Sofika's hot breath was upon his face. He layed there, immobile for fear of angering the alphess even more than she already was. He did not look her in the face nor did his eyes advert their gaze other than forward from his skull. Through her reaction to what he was doing he knew he had done something horribly wrong. The alphess's breath was almost like acid upon his eyes, they watered some but he did not flintch.
" Lucian you idiot! What do you think you are doing? "
Sofika's harsh words rung in Lucian's ears. He took in a deep breath and was about to explain his plans for catching the rabbit to help akisame, but he stopped short and assumed that she had already figured that part out and stopped him for an obvious reason. "i was simply trying to help Akisame in the capture of a rabbit, i appologze Mistress Sofkia, for my wrong doing" His voice was subordinate, yet truthful and unashamed. He said everything he meant, as emotionless as the sentence itself seemed, he could put much emphasis in his words simply with the tone and action of his voice.
He continued to look straight ahead, his neck full open to Sokifa's wrath if she willed it. He knew he would be punished, he was simply waiting to learn in what manner and how.

"i was simply trying to help Akisame in the capture of a rabbit, i apologize Mistress Sofika, for my wrong doing"
Sofika bucked back her head and snarled, and threw an angry growl to wards Akisame. As far as Sofika was aware, she was a supposed ex assassin, and so there had been little doubt in the Alphess' mind that she could catch a rabbit by herself. And so why, was the escort of Lucian required? If only such knowledge was known by the two wolves, because it appeared to remain unknown even to them. Akisame, was remaining quiet, perhaps unable to speak at this moment, but Sofika ignored her, and turned to Lucian once again. Her paws still kneaded the muck by his sides angrily and her fur bristled on end, giving her a more dangerous look to her.
" I am pretty sure that Akisame can obtain a rabbit without your assistance Lucian! She claims to be an ex assassin but now I am in doubt of her capabilities. "
Sofika did not look to Akisame but lifted her paw and somewhat slammed it down on the male's chest, but not hard enough to wind or hurt him, merely to frighten him, and make him think that she was going to strike his maw. The Alphess remained quiet for a moment, to give the male reaction time to her words. She did not want his lame excuses. For they were stupid reasons as to why he would so carelessly throw himself into danger. Could she be so sure to trust him with what she had been about to present him with? Sofika felt that he needed more time to prove himself, and so, the three wolves would find out not today, the reason for their task. They could thank Lucian for that.
" Tell me Lucian. What was your wrong doing that made me spring upon you so? And tell me, what were the possible consequences you would have had to have delt with, if had not it been for me?"
Sofika would not tell him were he went wrong. No. He had to figure such out for himself, or he would not learn from such mistakes as this. The dark figure of the Alphess remained looming over the subordinate, as he lay expressionless beneath her angry self. he would not be permitted to rise until he had figured out where is wrong was. As far as Sofika was concerned, this task was over, but she would in time reveal that to them, once she had finished with Lucian. Not an acknowledgment to Akisame was given here, for her quiet self went seemingly unnoticed with the alpha.
(( Akisame was too slow, so, Lucian you reply, and then, Akisame will reply, then me. ))

((;.; I'm here.))
Akisame crouched in the shadows and watched as Lucian charged forward. She had misundertsood his words. She did not know he was actually going to make it think like he was coming in that way. Oh how wrong she was. Springing from the shadows as he lunged forward she slowed down to a halt as Sofika came running in and tackled the male to the ground with such elegance as the darkness of Arnlan itself. The she-wolf remained silent cursing herself for being so stupid. Finally deciding to change herself and she had already made a mistake, what was she to do.
She did not move, she stood frozen a few feet away from them all. Why did she accept his help, because she accepted his help he got introuble with the Alphess. What was she to do now? Why do I always do this! I should have done it all by myself! Then he wouldn't get introuble and I would have my rabbit." She thought putting herself down more. How was she suppose to do it. She had ruined everything. Now Lucian had gotten her anger. Not to mention now Sofika was doubting her abilities. Ears laid against her cranuim and her tail dropped to the forest floor.
Was she really an assassin? Did she really have the right to call herself that? Sure canines and felines went to hire her, but... with this, one could really doubt themselves. She exhaled eyes still focused on Sofika and Lucian. These were the consequnces but she should be the one to pay them. She took Lucian's advice, she agreed to his plan and did not ask questions, she misunderstood it. It was all her fault.
"M'lady... Please don't punish him. It is my fault. I am the one who accepted his offer... I am the one who misunderstood him. I take the consequences upon myself."

((*dies of chicky proding* X.X sorry for the lateness, ive been busy now that im done with highschool^^; -is going to post now-))
As she slammed her paw into his chest his expression remained the same and only a light gasp of air left his lungs. He did not wince for he was not weak, but hightly regretful of his actions right now. His ears and tail were limp against the ground and his body. He looked to the cerulian colored female not to far off from where he and Sofika were. He hadn't known that she was an ex-assasin and could have managed this task oll on her own. He felt slightly used and hurt in some way, an emotion he had never felt before. His eyes were in a state of confusion as he looked at Akisame, then returned to the blank stare ahead of him.
Lucian took in a deep breath and closed his eyes, many thoughts running through his mind. He couldnt think of why his alphess was so distraught with his decision, thats when the old stories his elder use to tell him about experiences others had with nettles. Many were killed by this plant, not initially but throughout time the cuts and gashes that this bush caused could do great damage. Lucian growled to himself lowly for being so juvinile about the situation. He had let his ego get into his way and cause the ones around him discomfort, especially his Alphess Sofika.
"I was childish to choose to go after the rabbit into the nettle bush, the consequences for such juvenile action could have been death in the long run or life lamety due to the casualties of this plant. I would then be nothing to the Arnlan pack and would most likey have to be killed due to my stupid desicion." He replied to the alphess's harsh tone. He didnt look up at her, but simply replied in a calm and suble voice. He felt really horrible about what he had done and the thoughts of him getting kicked out of Arnlan or even worse, killed by his new Alphess made him wince slightly. Lucian could die in battle for any good reason, but to die because of a stupid desicion scared him. He didnt want to die that way. This fear could be sensed by the alphess, but he only let a slight sent release, he knew if he were to show it all in all forms of language he would be considered nothing but a hairless pup, good for nothing and a neussance.

Akisame, she had finally spoken and Sofika turned her head to look at the cerulean female. All the wolves appeared to be cowering at her feet, sucking up to her in hope that they would not be punished, stricken or banished no doubt. Sofika sighed angrily and eyed the female as she admitted the fault being of hers. Both of them were in fault. Her for not planning ahead, and accepting the assistance of the male when she was capable of obtaining the hare on her own. Lucian, obviously for leaping carelessly at such a dangerous plant.
Slowly her maw pointed from Akisame to Lucian as he lay emotionless beneath her. Why was he resisting to show his emotions to her? He was not very skilled at hiding how he felt, because she could sense his fear. The paw in which the Alphess had slammed to the chest of the male gripped his chest now, as her other stopped kneading the earth. She was grabbing his chest almost, but not quite. Her stubby black claws no doubt dug into him, but even if not noticeably so. For a moment she was silent, listening carefully to the words of Lucian. He was right; he had managed to work out his fault on his own without her explanation.
She would smirk, but she did not. Her growling ceased, and her lips no longer wrinkled with angry snarls. Instead, her grip loosened on the male and she moved away from atop of him. Her black form moved swiftly to Akisame and she stopped before the blue wolf and just watched her. Even if Akisame could not see her eyes to due to her hair, it would be obvious that she was glaring. Shaking her body she moved so that she was half way between the subordinates.
" You are both at fault here, and I know you both realise where you have gone wrong. Yes, Lucian, you would have become lame. I have rescued your dream of becoming a warrior because you so carelessly threw it away just now. "
Sofika turned her back to both of the wolves, and moved to the shadows from which she came. She would need to inform Ecclesiastes that the task was over. Sofika would leave these two here, to ponder in their thoughts. They may be saddened to not find out the reason for this task today, but again, it was the fault of Lucian and Akisame. Flicking her erected tail she looked over her shoulder and sighed.
" I am very disappointed in you both. "
And then she dived into the shadows and was gone.

Lucian looked up to his alphess with somewhat worried eyes, he hated feeling like this but it was something he would have to grow accustomed to. As Mistress Sofika's claws gripped at Lucian's pelt a light exhale of breath came from his maw. He was awaiting some sort of punishment from the sleek black wolf that stood over him, but instead he was met with a calmer female. She then stepped off of him and lept over to where Akisame stood. Lucian lay still for a couple of minutes before he arose to his feet. His fur was caked in the druggy mud of Arnlan. His jet black pelt was now spotted and blotched with an earthen color to it. He kept his gaze low. He knew that Sofika was finished with him. He wished that he would have brought his rabbit along, but maybe they would meet up along the other part of Arnlan where the alphess first spoke to them off the task.
He watched her leap off into the darkness that was Arnland and a sigh escaped his lips. His tail was limp and his head held low as he started to move back to where he had burried his catch. He did not even make a glance to the cerulian female just off to his side. He wanted to make his mistake up to Sofika by showing that he had done the task and hopefully she would accept his appology again.
A few minutes later he came back to the tree in which he marked where the rabbit lay burried. He began to dig gently as to not scratch or damage the hare any more than it already was. He soon came to the fat rabbit and picked it up in his maw. He strode over to a flat rock and began to clean it. He made sure that all of the dirt and dried blood was gone, except the clots that kept it from leaking any more blood onto its soft pelt. He picked it back up carefully and started to head back to where the task was given to the three wolves.

Akisame listened and laid her ears against her skull. She could see the expression in Lucian's eyes. She could see the hurt and looked away. SHe couldn't hold his gaze. She didn't want to do anything. She felt terrible, something the she-wolf had never felt. Sure she had felt anger, but never this. It was like someone thrusted their paw into her chest and ripped her heart out, then left her there to bleed. Now Lucian is in trouble.... I have disappointed Sofika twice now. Holding her breath she watched as Sofika approached her. Aki did not move. She looked up and stared at where the Alphess's eyes may be. She did not cower or flinch under the glare she knew was there. When the Alphess leapt into the shadows a whimper of sorrow escaped her.
"It's all my fault... Arnlan should just dispose of me."
She whispered and listened as the black and green male who had helped her got up to leave. She did not follow. She did not attempt to say anything, though the fatal wanted to. She wanted to say sorry and to apologize for every mistake she made. However she did not speak she did not move. When the timber was sure the male had left she turned and began to walk away. Tail dragging against the ground. Akisame trudged through the trees, in an attempt to find her bracelets that she had placed under a decaying tree.
I do not deserve to be in this pack. An image of her brother ArchAngel appeared in her head, and the she-wolf wondered how he felt when she had attacked him. Probably worse, or maybe she felt more pain then him. She needed someone to talk to. Someone who wasn't there to witness her mistake, someone who would only listen.
