NightBlood scoffed at Troubadour's question. It didn't offend her, no, but she was growing quite tired of others fearing her just for her great size and appearance. Oh well, she'd just have to come to accept it eventually.
"I have nothing against dogs. Although my experience with them has not been entirly pleasent, they must be just like wolves, eh? Some nice, some brutish. Some tall, some short... This 'Sallin' pack seems to simply be a pack of racists."
At that point, another voice came into the mix, making Night nearly trip over her own paws. It caught her by surprise. She was not expecting to have to speak to anyone else. She spread her paws out to steady herself, pulling her ears back while she consentrated on not falling. Once confident that she wouldn't fall on her face, she relaxed and looked over at the newcomer.
It was at this moment when Blue interjected her voice once again. The sound made NightBlood's eye twitch. She didn't fully enjoy this one's company, but she didn't have the right to chase her off, not with this being an unowned land and having Troubadour and the new female around to object to her being chased off...
After a moment's thought on the consequences of allowing the new female to listen in, NightBlood desided that, if needed, she could disquise her motifs on any question she might need to ask. She discussed her conclusion with Troubadour as she lowered her head and spoke to him in a voice that she hoped only he could hear.
"I don't think it would be any trouble."

Reina was not one to get her groove thrown off, but the sudden approach of the half breed throwing questions at her was enough to make her hesitate and take a few cautious steps back. She hadn't had any curiosity about this one now infront of her, the quiet one of the group. She threw a confused glance to the large female and the male. What was wrong with this pup? Did mongrel dog blood corrupt one's mind so much that it made them approach an unfamiliar creature without worry of being ripped to shreds. Reina held no grudges against dogs, but she found them to usually be not to bright.
"Hey, don't you ever worry that strange creatures may take your fool head off?" she spoke out in her usual manner. She shook her head. "Your lucky I'm not one of them, but you really need to be more cautious about just running up to people you dont know. I'm Reina, by the way," she responded, only paying half attention to the half breed. The strange dog had distracted her from the other two, the two mentioning the packs she wanted to learn about, and now they were whispering amongst their selves.

"Watch who you're talking to!" Blue pinned Renia and held on to her neck.

[oh, you really don't want this to get ugly do you? because Reina's no helpless wolf...she can do a fair amount of damage...and you cant just put my character on her back...you have to give me a chance to respond....]

Reina twisted from the sudden, crazy attack from the halfbreed as she tried to pin her and grab her throat. Was the idiot mad! Reina let out a vicious snarl, and shoved into Blue with her sharp claws, trying to get the crazed half breed off her. What the hell was wrong with the mut! Had she just not given her name, telling the dog that she was not one of the bad guys? But now she woud have to teach the dog a thing or two. Reina was not the largest wolf around, but she was quick. She began to snap and bite at any part of the dog she could grab, thrashing at the thing standing over her latched onto her neck with her sharp claws with all her might.

((Yipes! That turned nasty quick!))
Troubadour had just turned around, and cocked one ear towards NightBlood, listening to what she was saying, only to him. He nodded, and was about to say a hello to the newcomer, when to Troubadour's complete surprise, Blue, who had been talking to her before, returned to being very agitated, and of all things launched an attack on the wolf.
Troubadour watched. He couldn't say anything, couldn't interfere. If this was something to do with packs, then it would be his job to announce the conflict. Wait. Wasn't that wolf asking him about information on packs just a moment ago? Yes, she had been. What if she was one of the Sallin or Arnlan packs? Troubadour flattened his ears against his head, and crept back a bit, whimpering. If this wolf was with Sallin, and from the way she attacked back at Blue, Troubadour was guessing she was, then he would be next. Troubadour moved a little nearer to NightBlood. Sometimes, Troubadour would be very brave, all just to get a grasp on vital information, as was his profession. There wasn't anything worth fighting or dying for here, so Troubadour had no motivation for heroics. He would find out the identity and pack of the newcomer and Blue later. If they belonged to a pack, then by nightfall the pack would learn of the conflict, and of their loss. If not, it might be a worthwhile story to tell just when talking of daily events.

{...I'll just have NB leave at this point. I've got to get her over to Arnlan anyway.}
NightBlood watched as the fight unfolded. Sure, the new comer had been a little hawty when Blue had addressed her (and NightBlood could see why), but that was no reason to attack without warning. The great wolf sighed as to two carried on, thinking about what she should do. She felt no loyalty to the new wolf, even though she was on the defenceive and had done nothing to provoke, and refused to join Blue's side out of shear annoyance of the animal.
It was when she saw Troubadour edging toward her that NightBlood finally decided it was in her best interest to simply leave the area. Another opportunity to find out information would present itself sooner or later. Heck, it might even be by meeting up with the same announcer. Night rounded the fight from the side and lumbered on down the road. Eventually the sounds of the fight would be lost to her hearing and she would be at peace once again.
