Nile agreed to join them. Drox let out a sigh of relief. Him and Vega could relax a little more knowing there was another set of eyes watching out for them. "Does father know about Vega?" Drox asked Nile. "Yes the three wolves that fled informed father of your mate." 'Mate?' Drox thought to himself. 'I finally have a mate!' He was excited to call Vega his mate. He had overcome his fear and let himself fall in love once again. Drox waltzed over to Vega and nudged his maw against Vega's neck. He found his mate.

The golden features of Vega turned around abruptly upon hearing her name mentioned. She tilted her broad ears in inquiry as she listened to the conversation more attentively now. Vega had to fight to suppress a stupid toothy grin from appearing smacked across her face when she had heard Nile refer to her and Drox as mates. The result was a warm smile that beamed and radiated with joy. 'Mates', that was quite a foreign term to Vega, she never would imagine that she could wind up being mates with anyone like Drox. She beamed at Drox as he sauntered over and she nuzzled against his neck fur.

"Father told me about a place far beyond the pass called Avalon. He told me that is was free of human existence. Wolves control all of the land." Nile told Drox. "Maybe if we get there we can group with other packs to make our numbers more." Drox said. Drox paced a bit as he thought of the possibility of there being another land passed here. It was unheard of. He had only known this area. "Food is not as scarce also." Nile added. This made Drox's ears perk up.

Vega's ears perked in curiosity at Nile's words. Avalon? She had never heard of such a place before, but by the way that Nile described it, it sounded like a remarkable place. She leaned back and sat down on her haunches, listening to the ideas that Nile had proposed about leaving the pass for this wonderous land. Vega's broad ears alsoperked up even more with Nile's mention of the abundance of food within this new land of Avalon....like a Utopia of sorts.
