Are we dying?

Okay, yes, I know we will never be super active or anything since Kloteck just isn't good enough for that, and that's fine.

However...

It just seems really slow right now. Not even half of our moderators are active here (global or other), and I'm wondering why I'm even bothering to try and find active players for the comic characters, since they hardly stay active or theirs players just disappear. Again, I know we aren't "OMG, popularzzz!" but I want to make sure this place doesn't up and die on me...

Any thoughts or suggestions:C?

I seriously need to get off my lazy butt and start RPing. I've got my character, I've got my info, and now all I need to do is get my stupid history reading out of the way. So hopefully later this week (since my reading is due Wednesday) I can get started. *beats self with a stick for laziness* *now beats Kavs (gently) with a stick for comic bashing*

I dunno. I wouldn't say that we're dying per se, since we technically have a group that gets on consistently. I think that more members will probably come with time, and that we can't do anymore than we're already doing (or not doing :S) and such.

So...Yeah. Keep a stiff upper lip, and stop bashing yerself, bah! =O

Meh...I'm not really talking about new members really, more the people who do hang out here on a regular basis. I love being able to come on here and chat with you guys, so...that would really suck if everyone just left:c.

Well, you also have to remember that MOST of us have really tough schools that give out a lot of homework. I know that's why Arch doesn't reply often. She comes on and wisks away like a ghost. Seriously? I don't know HOW I could be more active. As for others... I dunno, maybe an on-line party some day where EVERYONE makes room in their scheduals to BE ONLINE? That's all I can come up with at the moment. And I REALLY need to get back to class... *sprints away* XD

While I do agree that there aren't members that are being too active at the moment, I don't think that means that the fourm is dying... as long as we work to keep it active. I disappeared for a few months (work, bah) and came back - and I certianly don't plan on leaving again. Hopefully others will be the same.

You know... I actually perfer the KO fourms to massive ones like BBA. Now, I'm not bashing BBA, but I genuinely think the atmosphere on this place is a lot friendlier - everyone actually knows who everyone else is and there's none of those popularity contests that happens with large groups.

I'm still here. I'm probably more active then I've been in a long while thanks to faster internet.

And I'm still waiting on Faline and Nisse, and if I lose those I'm trying out for Wesley.

A lot of the mods really aren't active right now, and it's super obnoxious. I don't know why, but it just is. I wish they would be more. And am I the only person here that thinks we should take Cedarburg down? It's hard enough having everyone role-play in all the boards that are already there, but that board is just a complete waste of space.

I don't know Kahvie, I think you should have the right to be angry at the Global Moderators and stuff, but maybe that's just me. I know that I would, but I guess I'm just not as nice of person as you.

I actually just de-modded two of our single-board moderators, since they never do anything here, much less log in to check on things. As mean as it might make me sound, the job of a mod is to support the board and be active. I can understand if they are moderators at the BBA and that is why they can't be here, but I'd appreciate it if they'd just tell me that and didn't just take off and forget their job here with us...I guess I just need to not appoint mod jobs to people who are also mods at the BBA, since being a mod on such a large board no doubt takes up a lot of those peoples' time.

I was just thinking this, actually. The alpha's player is never here, and there are rarely any active Rps that take place there. I know NB is active and we were planning a pack for her to run, so I was hoping we could just remove Cedarburg and replace it with Night's pack.

*raises hand* Can I just say that (if my pack does end up replacing Cedar) I'll let the ACTIVE members who have characters in Cedar (if there are any) be auto-accepted into my pack? Just so people don't freak out that their character has pritty much just been kicked out of a pack? It would be optional, tho...
