Logic has indeed been defied...
Watched the movie... Kind of... Sort of... Liked it...
Disturbed by this fact.
............................
Soooo I <3 Spock naow. Seen half an episode (Trouble with Tribbles if anyone cares to know) and honestly, along with seeing the movie version(s), I can't help but love that character. I can't say much for the series itself, as I havn't seen enough to have a viable opinion on the matter, but I can tell you that the settings... at least as far as the interiors of the ships, are a little bland. But what can be expected of an old TV show? Anyway. Further investigation of this strange and disturbingly fascinating show will be underway... AS SOON AS I REPLY TO ALL THESE RPS. I promise, I'll post SOMETHING at SOME TIME later TODAY. *headdesk*

P.S.: Live long and prosper. ;p

Heh. Yes, that is quite the episode. Especially when Spock claims that he is unaffected by the cuteness. LIES, Mr. Spock. LIES!! XD

There is. One from TOS (The Trouble with Tribbles) and another from The Next Generation.... or Deep Space Nine, pretty sure it was TNG though. I think that ep was called Tribble Trouble.
yus. I R trekkie. Proudly.

If you already know the basic stuff (Kirk, Spock, "Beam me up, Scotty", and "Live long and prosper") then go ahead and watch the 2009 movie. The old series is fully of annoying stuff like bad backgrounds, dramatic dialogue (Kirk... talks like this... all the time...), overly acted fighting sequences, and stuff. And that's just the original series. However, I am excited to see the Next Generation series cuz I never knew that Dr. Xavier (X-Men) was a Treker. :3

I need to get into Star Trek... No you do not. Other then that, Tags is right; you should watch the latest movie. It'll confuse you as hell, if you haven't seen at least a parody of it, but you'll get your action packed, spaceship filled, explosive, special effecty, and sometimes very silly movie, you'd prolly like ...methinks. Personally I watched the last three movies, with Patrick Steward, (+the new one) and didn't find them half bad. As for the old ones... sadly I'm the one of those, who remembers some of them |': ps.: I'm not a "treckie", just watch a lot of random, mainstream movies for no apparent reason. ( and I talk way too much over them >.<)
