I just got this in my inbox yesterday, and thought it looked pretty neat. I'll be pursuing this further to see what all the legal stuff is, but I thought I'd post it to see what you guys thought:). Dear Kahvie,
Nice to meet you.
Do you want your comic characters to become the real figures for out on the market?
As a partner of a genuine Japanese animation collectibles factory, we do have experience on producing well-qualitied figurine and collectibles.
Certainly, you do not need to decide the production at this moment. You can just make one prototype first and do the marketing research or comic fair display. Once you think this product is worth to do and then you can go for production.
If you want to know more details, just contact me.
Chris M e-mail: cm@hk-gensen.com Website: www.hk-gensen.comThe mail also came with an attached image showing an anime character sheet, clay model, and final prototype. Kinda cool. Of course, I don't think anyone would actually buy KO figures (KO sucks, lulz), but it's worth a shot for myself, methinks.

KO figures sound like a grand idea; it certainly seems like an interesting path to explore.

*nods* Sounds interesting. At first I thought it might be a scam when I saw it on BBA, but I'm not sure now... *shrugs* I'm just overly suspicious. XD

Yep, I think so.
I'm not sure yet, actually...in any case, I'm still not sure if I should go ahead with it, since KO isn't exactly a success. If it's too much money, I'll just drop it, since it wouldn't be worth it:/.

It is worth it. It's worth every penny, but of course if the price goes into the thousands, I'm not sure if BBA would do it. . .

From what I know, the actual prototype would be almost $500. Then after that, you can get 250 figurines for like $20. But the prototype master piece is a lot cause thats made from scratch and the rest are factory made I think.

That's just awesome. Seriouslyseriouslyseriously. AWESOME. I'd buy a KahvieandBeavplz! But the production cost seems a bit expensive. /: If you're all right with the price, then GO FOR IT, KAV!

Yikes, $500? But that's understandable if it's made for scratch. $20 seems reasonable for 250 figurines, though. S'pose I could try and get a job to pay for this if I had to *shrug*.

A Kahvie one would be cool. That's really expensive though. I don't know if I could afford one.
