(OOC: This is for Kalsyfer, but anyone can join as soon as Kalsy posts)
A-achoo!
As a cold rush of air blew through the wine forest, it's alpha shook her head and sneezed in response as it tickled her muzzle. With an aggitated snarl, she looked up and studied what she could see of the dark sky through the trees above.
It would snow soon, Kahvie knew.
It was always like this when it was about to snow...ice had formed on the trees, icicles reaching toward the ground below in frozen motion. A beautiful sight to behold, however potentially dangerous as the mutt now recalled an elderly pack member who had been injured after having been struck by one of the clear daggers not too long ago.
Well, it couldn't be helped.
Head lowered, Kahvie pushed through the damp leaves that littered the ground, searching for any bugs that might serve as a snack. But alas, in this frozen land, there was not another living thing to be found, it seemed...

The icy cold wind that blew through the trees also targeted the new comer to the lands. He was trotting along aimlessly when it struck. He had not felt such a cold chill in a while and it had made him halt dead in his tracks as he bared his teeth and squinted his eyes trying to to sneeze. Alas, he could hold it no longer.
aaah...ah..CHOO!
His eyes teared slightly as he stood there slightly shivering with a look of annoyance upon his face. He hated sneezing. It made him feel wierd.
He took a deep breath and looked around. The wind also stung his eyes slightly. He sniffed the air for anything new and possibly edible. He hadnt eaten in a long time and was growing quite hungry.
He looked to his left and found an old rotting stump. He didnt much like the taste of insects, he prefered meat or atleast frogs and toads. But he meandered over to the rotting stump and muzzled around in it. Although it was cold in the weather, the biodegrading process had heated up the loose and moistened wood some. The feel of the slightly warmer temp made Kal sneeze once again.
He jumped back and started to frantically cuss out the random stump. He had some agressions to let out.
" you stupid piece of LOG!! yeah thats right i called you a LOG!! HA stupid piece of wood"
He lunged forward and nipped at it somewhat playfully flinging pieces of rotting wood around like a puppy who just found a toy to destroy. He hadnt even thought that there might be others around. He pretty much lived in his own little world.
"TAKE THAT!!" He grabbed a rather large piece and with his whole body flung it behind him.

OOC|*laughs at everyone's antics* I know Kahvie said anyone, but hope that this isn't too soon. I don't like posting on threads once they're really underway. Ya know?
Morimar had taken up residence in one of the trees, finding the wood oddly warmer than the frost-bitten ground. Cold wasn't really a place that suited him very well. After all, he had Pharaoh hound in him, but his German Shepherd blood and Timber Wolf mixing had made up for that nicely so he had many of the perks of sight and hearing, but not the weakness to frost and chill. Nevertheless, he shuddered from the cold while lying extended on a branch wishing with all his heart to just mesh with the wood and be thriving despite the cold. After all, in a place that seemed always autumn didn't make sense, but the trees were alive even now. I want. Be alive. Even Morimar's thoughts were slightly frozen as he felt another nippy wind run the length of him. Brrrr!
Eyes narrowed to prevent random shards of ices and flakes from penetrating to the sensitive orbs, Morimar heard more than saw someone shouting. Are they shouting at...a log? He wondered as he tried to locate the source of the voice. Spying a beast thanks to his patchy markings below, Morimar almost felt compelled to call out to him in hopes that this other dog might show him shelter. After all, he was still stranger here despite his liking of the place. Granted, he hadn't seen many wolfish dogs like himself here though.
Oh how his ankle ached! Unfortunately, weaker hindquarters were still granted him from his mixed father and the cold always stung. If only I had more than four paws and teeth. Then I could bandaged myself up so good that more than just one ankle wouldn't hurt so much. He thought miserably with a slight whimper. He'd just hope that the wild one down yonder might notice him. If not, it was going to be a long time before Morimar moved.
Grrrrrrgle!
Morimar sighed wistfully. How delightful. I'm hungry too.
