(Decided to edit it, since last post was extremely lame)
A foul taste greeted Blackbeard as she slowly awoken to the feeling of floating... 'Floating? Why the bloody hell am I floating?' Blackbeard glanced downwards to the long, roughed wood that she was currently resting her upper half on. The piece of drift wood was heading towards the docks, the sudden thought of humans being ahead excited and scared Blackbeard. The excitement that she might be able to find her humans yet the fear of knowing that not all of them could have managed to make it out alive. Sadden thoughts filled Blackbeard's dome, a whimper threatened to escape but the canine mutt refused to let it slip out. But soon enough a distraction came in the form of a soft nudge to the spinal cord sent Blackbeard out of her thoughts and into being alert. The swift movement of the skull let Blackbeard see a black pirate hat with red trimming, bringing memories with it of the little pirate human. Without another thought of swimming to shore, Blackbeard pushed the piece of wood towards the shore and moved to grip the pirate hat in her jaws before swimming towards the shore; despite of finding the hat, hope still seemed to beat. To even find at least one single human from her pack would make everything that much better, to know that enduring the foul taste of salt water would not go in vain.
After having reached the shore, Blackbeard gave a rather rough shake of the body in a vain hope of releasing the water that clung to the ashen fur. Before long, the sickening feeling in the pit of the empty stomach alerted Blackbeard that the endless gulps of salt water had upset the stomach. Upon placing the hat down, Blackbeard gave a few heaving noises before spewing stomach acids and salt water for those that were passing by to see, before long Blackbeard moved towards the pirate hat. Shifting it so she could put it on her dome but the task wasn't easy without having dew claws as “thumbs” as the humans had. Yet the pirate hat fitted perfectly upon the skull, with the right ear being partly underneath it which helped a lot.
Blackbeard moved towards the docks with a slight staggering walk. Similar to that of a drunken walk but not as poorly as those drunken sailors and land lovers walked. The walk was as if one was tipsy but not too terribly drunk, a silly grin was placed onto the rims of the darken female at the mere thought of what her humans would think, seeing old Blackbeard with a black pirate hat with red trimming, who happened to have a tipsy walk. Blackbeard knew if she didn't find some fresh water and a safe place to hide out, the humans around here, might believe that she was rabid or something along those lines. Since this port was new to Blackbeard as in her three years of traveling the seven seas, her human pack had not gone to this port.
Blackbeard walked slow as possible, trying not to appear off balance towards the humans in hopes of them believing that she came along with one of the ships and wasn't rabid but instead uneasy from being on solid ground which didn’t move every five second.
