It had only been a couple days since her owner had died and she was tossed out onto the streets, not knowing how to surive there. She was not a good sight, her once white fur was brown and red frommud and open wounds that she had gotten trying to get away from the men that had thrown her out hereto began with. Her little fram shook and she stood under a small shelter, barely big enough to fit her in. She was cold, hungry, and confused. The rain that poured out of the sky didn't help matters anyand she tried to push herself back more as thunder and lighting danced overhead. Too frightened to sleep, and not knowing how to get food she made one pathic soaked dog. What was a pampered pup subosted to do? She was raised by humans, for humans, and nothing in that life of easie had prepaired her for life this this.
She sank further into the mud under her as thunder sang out, giving off a whimper as it sounded and trying to cover her ears, but it did nothing to drown out the sound. So she laid there too frightened to go and find a better shelter, or to even to beg for food. a chill sweep through her body as she paws pushed tighter against her ears, hoping that the storm would end soon.

"Nnnrgh..."
As Kahvie moved along the streets of the Port, she looked up to study the dark sky. However, it wouldn't take long for a drop or two to hit her in an eye, and she would be forced to look down again and shake her head. The rain could either aid or mess her up. On one hand, it could shield her from human eyes as it hit cobblestone and created a light mist. One the other hand, it could distract her and cause her to run right into a human...and after her previous experiences with the odd creatures, the last thing Kahvie wanted was to come across men as she scavenged around their trash (or if she was lucky, an open storeroom or two).
Giving up on scowling at the rainclouds above, Kahvie moved on. Every now and then, thunder crashed, her ears pushing back in response as each crack of the enigmatic booms seemed growl at her, hurrying her on. Studying her surroundings, the dog noted a few of the Port's lanterns' fire had been extinguished, rain no doubt having caused their death as it crept through the cracks in the tinted glass. Wishing they all could have been put out to aid in her "hunt," the dog moved to escape the soft glow of the lit lamps that lined the street. Back and forth, back and forth..."wait...what's this now?"
Out of the corner of her eye, the little mutt caught sight of another canine, it's coat soiled significantly. A stray? No. A feral dog would have been able to find better shelter than the one this animal had chosen. And while she cowered, this female also gave off the look of a pet that had been thrown out on it's tail after soiling the rug or stealing it's human's dinner. Kind of funny, at least to the border mix. Deciding food could wait, Kahvie approached the other and sank her front end in a playful bow, eyebrows lowered and a teasing grin dancing across her face as she spoke.
"What'sa matter? Human throw you out for havin' done somethin' stupid?"

Alora looked up at the newcomer her eyes wide, she played bowed and ALora's tail wagged back and forth glad that she wasn't alone anymore. "No he...," Alora's brow furowed as she thought back to what happened, "Some men came and took him away under a cloth." She shook her head, she hadn't understood what they were doing to her master but they had take away all of his things and had thrown her out. She copied the stance that Kahvie was in tounge hanging out of her mouth her fears forgotten for the moment, "I'm Alora who are you?" She asked all hints of worry and confusion gone.
Alora was never one to stay in one emotion for long, she was, in all ways, a grown dog that had never made it past puphood. Her tail wagged her tail back and forth. Suddonly thunder rang out and she fell to the ground her paws back over her ears.
