Keylo smiled and nuzzled up against Kaijin and cleaned his face with her toungue. She really liked him and wanted to know what he looked like.
" What do you look like, Kaijin? I want to know. I don't even know what I look like anymore."
She licked at where she thought his tattoos were. She licked his cheek, right thigh, and his back. She only licked 1 right place: His right thigh. To other wolves, they'd think that she was crazy. But she was doing it because she liked having his company.

Kaijin smiled when Keylo begon to nuzzle and lick him. He'd finally done something right!
"What do you look like, Kaijin? I want to know."
Kai chuckled. "Well, let's see...I'm blacker than the darkest night. My eyes are a penetrating orange color. I get that from my mother's father. As is the family tradition, I got tatoos when I was a year old. They are a golden color. I have a ring around each ear and my tail, and hollowed out circles on my forehead, shoulders, and hips. My legs are long and my feet are big. I'm a little too skinny, and my fur, as you can feel, is soft to the touch."
"I don't even know what I look like anymore."
Kaijin sighed. "You are beautiful, Keylo. Your fur is soft, and your build is graceful. If it weren't for that scar on your eye, you'd be the picture of health. It's amazong how we travellers can pay so much attention to our grooming, isn't it?"

Keylo smiled and nodded her head to agree. She looked up at the beautiful night sky. Her smie then turned into a frown. A tear rolled down her cheek.
"Why can't we all get along, Kaijin? Why must our kind suffer and the Humans, Their Lot, thrive in their riches and wonders? It's not fair to us and in the Beginning it wasn't fair. They knew that. Did a single soul do anything about it? No. They all just continued with their wallowing and theiving. None of them stood up for us."
By now the tears were coming by the second. It was painful to Keylo that she had to suffer and the humans just didn't even bother to help her. She had faced things worse than death and They didn't care. They were selfish and inconsiderate and They liked it.
"We're lucky that I'm still alive now, or you wouldn't have anyone to speak to."
She looked up at the clouds that were trying to hide the moon.
"Do you think, that there is a place were you go when you die? I've always wondered about if there was."

Kai flattened his ears and whined. Why was Keylo so sad? He sat beside her and wrapped his tail atound her. His cheek rubbed against hers and he sighed. "I don't know, Keylo...I wish I did sometimes."
"We're lucky that I'm still alive now, or you wouldn't have anyone to speak to."
Kaijin smiled. Yes, that is true...I'd be alone without her around. He said nothing, simply closed his eyes, smiling.
"Do you think, that there is a place were you go when you die? I've always wondered about if there was."
Kaijin chuckled. Hie orange eyes opened and he looked up at the sky. "My mother once said...that when we die, we join the stars." He closed his eyes and sighed. "That we join all the great wolves that came before us, and go to a peaceful place, the greatest paradise we have ever seen."

Keylo became more relaxed when Kaijin embraced her. After he told her about what his mother had said, she spoke.
"I belive you. Evey single word that comes out of your maw, I belive. Do you want to know why belive you? It's because,"
She couldn't continue. She just had to be stong and tell him.
"Because I love you, Kaijin."
She nuzzled up into him and and looked up into his eyes. In her eyes it asked him to howl with her. She decided to now devote her life to Kaijin. Forever.

Kaijin cocked his head and looked at Keylo. "What is it?"
"Because I love you, Kaijin."
Kaijin smiled and leaned on Keylo. His eyes half-closed and he licked her cheek. "I love you too, Keylo." He saw in her sightless eyes that she wanted him to sing, so he closed his eyes and let his voice ring out.
Meet me after dark again and I'll hold you...
