He was lost. He was alone. And he was... Happy? How could this be? Maybe it was the fact that he'd come across a completely breathtaking area? Maybe it was the fact that he loved the feel of the wind in his curly fur, the feel of being free. He loved the new sights, the new smells. Everything was new. Everything was neat! He couldn't believe his eyes, the world was so big! Turning around every which way, looking at everything in sight, the pup felt a smile cross his face. Everything was a mystery to him. There were sights he couldn't even begin to describe! There were smells unlike any other! He loved this place, he loved this place! It was so pretty, so amazing! What was this place called? Did it even have a name?
Looking down at his paws, he poked the white, hard grains he stood on. What was this? It was a light color, reminding Harry of snow. But, it certainly wasn't cold! And it wasn't wet at all! It was rather hot, actually, compared to some of the other places he'd been to! And what was that? Over there! A huge bathtub? Harry cocked his head in curiosity, and padded over to where the water met the shore. That's one biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig bathtub! I don't wanna go in there! And then to his right he saw some trees. Perking his large ears up, he began towards the trees, but stopped and looked back at something. There was... Something shiny on the ground! He gasped, pawing at the sand. Yes, it was halfway buried under there...! He saw it! It was beautiful! It was shiny!
Before long, the little whelp had uncovered a small shell. It was a cream color and sparkled in the sunlight. He tilted his head, dark eyes widening. "Ooh..." He beamed, touching the smooth surface with a paw. "Pretty!" His curly-furred tail was up in the air, wagging back and forth as he looked at the shell. What was this odd object?
He sat down, looking at the shell with his dark eyes. It's little... It's shiny... It must be good to bite! Chopping down on the little object, Harry made a face. He let go of the shell, frowning slightly. Okay. It's not good to bite. He left the little object where it was and continued his stroll along the beach.
