A grey form wandered silently along the outskirts of the village. The smell of people and dogs mixed with smoke from burning fires. The soft breeze increaesed the intesity of the scents and the wolf-dog sneezed. She walked closer to the structures and sat down amoungst the underbrush.
The motions of kids playing and dogs running filled the pale blue eyes of Lullaby. Another breeze ruffled her grey and purple fur and she swated a fly away from her face. A cart rode by and the sound of humans talking in their language drifted on the air.
Lullaby watched silently and smiled as the kids and dogs started playing together. One little girl laughed and threw a stick so hard she fell over. A few dogs cahsed it, but one of the older ones stayed and picked the girl up by the back of her dress and set her back up. The girl laughed and teh dog licked her face. Sweetness was what kept the world around.

The soft breeze blew across the streets, heavy with the scents of Hallow Village. Rei turned his muzzle to the wind, drawing in the air and all the stories buried within. He could smell smoke, humans, dogs, cats, gasoline, and trash. Along with a few more undefined smells. He was trotting down a street on the outskirts of Hallow, his odd lurching gate making a few of the humans stare. He hated the way people would feel sorry for him, it made him feel bad.
Tired, he began searching for a place to rest, and he spotted a small grey dog sitting against the wall of a small building. with a sigh, he turned and began walking toward her. As he approached her, he breathed in her scent and it told her that she was half wolf. "Hello." he said, as he settled down just a few fet away from her. "The name's Rei, how 'bout you?"

Lullaby looked up to the other canine and smiled. "My name is Lullaby." She looked him over and noticed his right foreleg was missing. Somehow, she didn't feel any different about him because of it, it made him unique. Raising her left rear leg, she scratched her itch and smiled at Rei.
The sound of a small child crying made the wolf-dog start and quickly turn her head. Blinking, she turned back to Rei and asked, "What brings you here?" Her ears twitched with the breeze and she shook her head to clear her head of the thought of sneezing again.

Rei had watched Lullaby's reaction carefully, and couldn't help but smile as she seemed indifferent to him. "Lullaby huh?I don't think I've ever heard anyone by that name before." He said with a lopsided grin. "There's no real reason I'm here, i'm a wanderer, so I end up in all sorts of places." His silver eyes began wandering across the scenery. He could see a few groups of human kids running here and there across the streets with a few barking dogs dispersed between them. There was also a small group of full-grown humans about half way down the street, and every once in a while one would shout something at the children.
The cool breeze was cutting through his fur, and blowing on his ears so that he had to turn them away from the oncoming rush of air. Despite that, it felt good, refreshing really. Turning his head to the grey wolf-dog, he opened his mouth. "Breeze feels good today, huh?"

Lullaby smiled. "My parents always sung lullabies to my litter and they noticed how well I took to them quickly." She couldn't hold back the sneeze anymore and giggled afterwards. The sharp breeze was cold and felt good on her warm skin and fur. Her blue eyes wandered around the village and she turned head back to Rei as he asked about the breeze.
"Yes. It's really nice. I wish everyday was like this." Her voice was soft and she lost herself in the words and the wind. She curled her tail behind her and looked at Rei. He was a simple colored wolf, only black and white with green eyes. But his simplicty was very nice, rather than staring at a wolf so bright that the colors blinded her.

(uuuhhhh, Rei is Brown, white, and black, with silver eyes.)
"Nawww." He said, flashing her a toothy smile, "If every day were like this I'd miss the rain." As he spoke, he leaned back onto his haunches so that his forpaw was barely even touching the ground. Suddenly a thought crossed his mind, and his smile turned into a mischiviouse grin. "Hey." He said leaning over so that he was nearly whispering in her ear. "You hungry?"

(oh. I forgot and was too lazy to look at the profile again. In the picture here, he is balck adn white with green eyes.I hate this computure!!)
A small giggle escaped Lullaby's maw as she thought of a world without rain. That would mean no mud!! "Yeah, I'd miss the rain too." She watched him lean back and then move close to her. It was a little uncomfortable, but it wasn't bad either... Hungry? Hmmmm... "Yeah. I'm hungry." She returned his grin with one of her own.
