Scamp lay under a unused stall frame it provided some shelter from the light drizzle that had set in in the early morning, not many people were out yet and he watched a man walk a German Shepard and felt jealous. At one time his owners walked him and cared for him, he'd always been loved for they had children and though children sometimes went away during the days he'd always had something to do. He whined pitifully, it hurt to feel like no one cared about him.
Soon he stepped out just as a family with a old style umbrella over their heads walked out a small male child who had only recently learned to speak saw him and approached him arms wide. "Doggy" he said.
Scamp smiled his tongue lolled out as he walked up to the little boy, just then there was a screech from the boys mother and she lifted him away from Scamp. "Shoo! Shoo you mangy beast!" she yelled and kicked at Scamp as if he were no more than vermin.
Scamp turned and ran tail between his legs, and he yelped in fear and ran down a side street to catch his breath were he sat and whined to himself sadly, he hated himself for not staying with his family.

.ooc. Sorry for the short and late reply. u.u
.ic. Wesley liked the children in Hallow, they were always so loveable and even though they would pull on his tail, ears, and rope around his neck and occasionally the clothes he sometimes wore. He still loved them though, and knew that they were short by the way they couldn’t reach his face and the only way they got to his ears were if he was laying down—Which was his current position as he listened to the buzz of everything happening around him waiting for something calling him. Which something did—another dog being yelled at by a human? Typical. There was just no end to this odd tragedy and the only thing Wes could do really was to investigate. Usually it was a new dog that needed his attention already.
Carefully moving toward the sound by following odd scents and hearing for anything that he may bump into, and found that the dog had just been here but had ran passed. He knew this as there was a clearing and he knew that because nobody wants to go through a small street when there’s a dog running loose in the middle of it. It stops for a short amount of time only, so Wesley guessed he had gotten there just in time. He heard a dog whining to his left and looked not to see a dog, or much of anything, really. Walking up to him he stopped just in front of him not waiting for a reaction from the dog that may have just been called a rude name by a human.
“Who are you, dog?”

OOC: I'm sorry too I think I rushed this a little I just got a few messages I need to answer. BIC: Scamp's head lifted as he looked up at Wesley, though he shuddered slightly and his hackled began to rise at the sight of a dog larger than himself, he growled quietly and then decided it was right to answer.
"S-Scamp" he said quivering the small dog was now shaking uncontrollably.
He looked about for a route of escape but seeing as there was none he took a few steps back, as usual the sight of a large dog was a little too much for Scamp, though Scamp thought of himself of very tough when he got upset by other dogs he often acted aggressive, only to whimper when the dog bared it's fangs at him.
He did so now baring his fangs trying to make himself look angry and as big as he could, but he only succeeded in looking like a foolish puppy, getting himself into trouble as puppies often do. He was still rather shocked by a human reacting too him like that it made him feel awefull, he did so love people especially little children. He always used to pull on his lead whenever a young child was nearby often getting a quick pat but these days people seemed to hate him for some reason.
Thats me alright, he thought, Scamp the stray.

.ooc. Sorry it's short again. x.x My sister is forcing me to rush. >>
.ic. Interacting with the humans wasn’t a crime, and he felt the aura of uneasiness around this pup and decided to make a better appearance with a smile. “Hey, Scamp. I’m Wesley, Alpha of the Hallow dogs. Can I help you with anything?”
He heard the dog take a step back and heard the very faint click sound when lips are pulled up to bare fangs. Wes didn’t like the action that Scamp had taken to him and his smile disappeared and invisible brows furrowed in confusion that a dog would take such a defense against another dog that was obviously blind and had shown no threat. Though Wesley was fully aware of his surroundings, he didn’t know that he was blocking an escape route for Scamp. But in a way, that was good.

OOC: heh, I REALLY know what you mean about that
Scamp's ears pricked when he heard the word 'pack' he thought about it, that was something like a family he thought, immediately his snarl turned into thoughtful look.
"I came here because I lost the humans I lived with" he said still wondering if Wesley was going to kill him, as he always feared with dogs larger than himself.
"Whats a Hallow dog?" he asked as an afterthought.
He was still shaking like a leaf but his confidence lifted a little, most times when I dog attacked him it did so before he knew what was going on and he was pretty sure Wesley wasn't any trouble, he then looked up into his eyes and immediately felt pity but didn't say anything, he was amazed that he could still get around without bumping into things.
He took a step forward again and lowered his ears and his head, putting his tail back between his legs being submissive.

Wesley was relieved to know now that Scamp no longer saw him as a threat and wiped off his challenging face. “I came here because I lost the humans I lived with” was his reason for being in Hallow. It would make sense that he didn’t need to be accepted or anything if he was already in Hallow, and this was something that the dog needed to know before he can do anything else.
“Were you and your human owners already living in Hallow before I found you?” Was his question to him.
Being blind, Wesley didn’t know that Scamp was wearing a collar and he was too preoccupied of other things flowing in his mind to even think that there could possibly be tags on his collar making a racket. Wes had ignored it for now, it had seemed, but he only just now inferred that Scamp was wearing a collar. This was proof that he had human owners and the Alpha would believe whatever this dog had to say about his owners.
“What’s a Hallow dog?” was Scamp’s question to Wes and he answered it without much if any thought at all, really. “A Hallow dog is a dog that lives in the Hallow village.” During all of this, Wesley was struggling trying to figure out Scamp’s age. If he was around three or four, he really wasn’t acting his age. But if he was younger, then it was understandable. Wes’ other senses have been intensified from the loss of his sight which was a good thing to have, but he mainly relied on his nose and hearing for everything. Touch, too. Finally, Wesley confirmed from scent that Scamp’s age was, in fact, three years.

Scamp thought for a moment, "I don't know, but I don't think I come from here. I don't recognize anything" he said with a shake of his head.
He was infact very childish and had never really grown used to being an adult, as far as he was concerned, adults were boring and he didn't want to be like one. He remembered what humans were like, if you sat around and didn't pay much attention to them you didn't get attention, but if you acted happy to be with them all the time wagging tail and ran up with a toy in your mouth they were much more likely to play with him.
Scamp was now looking at Wesley wondering what his life had been like before he had come to this place, but judging by the rope and earings he guessed he must have lived with humans. Thoughts began running through his head, had they gotten rid of him because he was blind? Had they only wanted him when he was a pup? Had they simply lost him? Could they no longer afford to feed him?
He shuddered at the thought when he was with his owners he ate alot, usually eating cat food as well as dog food, he remembered how the cats used to play with him and how the humans would laugh and somtimes come to his rescue when the cats got serious. The cats could be little balls of fluff one minuite then the next a fearsome creature all tooth and claw. He remembered how one of the cats usued to sometimes suck up to humans then attack them for doing hardly anything at all and how he'd bark at him when the unfortunate human was scratched or bitten.

Scamp didn’t recognize anything? This was bad, Wesley had dealt with things like this before but his previous owners would start putting up signs looking for him. The alpha decided to take a chance, though. He’ll allow Scamp to stay in Hallow as long as he wanted to. If he wanted to go back and find his owners, that was fine.
“Your owners may try and find you, but you can stay in Hallow as long as you wish. I advise you to go back to your owners if you find them. Once alone, you realize how lucky you were to have owners.”
Wesley remembered past dogs that have come without humans, and claim that they were lost. They lasted a few days in Hallow, but it’s a small world and the humans came back and found them. Some of them ran off to stay in Hallow, others went off with their human companions because they didn’t like sleeping outside, having to find their own food, or encountering dangerous dogs. It was a shame, but then, everything was their own choice.
He turned to walk away, now knowing that his job was done and also knowing that Scamp would go off on his own to explore his new home—if he wanted to stay at all. Wes had other things to deal with right now, his mind can’t be cluttered with what’s going on with newly accepted members.

OOC: I'll keep it short, it's really just the conclusion of it all BIC: Scamp simply watched as Wesley went to leave.
"Thank you!" he called.
He felt accepted again and turned and ran off, he wondered if he would find his humans again, wether he did or not at least he could say 'I'm a Hallow dog' and would be able to live in Hallow as long as he wished.
