It was a peaceful day. The sun just begining to set, the families starting to drift back to their houses to eat dinner, and the farm animals going along with their buisness of munching on grass and hay and trodding along placidly. The sun slowly sank below the horizon to come to dawn on another day somewhere else, and gradually, the moon took it's place. It shone bright and luminous down on the small village, stealing the light from the distant stars and galaxies so that it could light up the earth brighter than ever. The humans laid down to sleep, the tamed creatures of the village settles in their cozy barns or under the starry sky, and the village settled into an even greater silence.
A pair of cold blue eyes slowly blinked open. A flash of pearly white teeth, the breath of a yawn, and the fae was up. Her nimble paws started her out of the forest edging the small village, carrying her away from the tiny indention in the earth where she had curled up earlier in the day. Just to wait for the night. The perfect, dark, shadowy, moon lit night. Eyes flashed again as the darkness grew still, sparking red in the shadows. Her small paws hit the earth lightly, soundlessly, taking her still farther into the village. The fae was not seeking acceptence into the Hallow Village Pack, rather she had her eyes set on a different prize. Causing a big, loud stir. Her eyes danced as she swiftly trotted along the cobble stone path, and her bobbed tail twicthed a little as she caught the scent of the pack. But none were too close. Her gait lengthened.
Soon she was at the step of a late-getting-to-bed house. These people seemed to be the kind who stayed out all day long, worked worked worked, then came home and ate super late. Since she had watched this family before, she knew. There was a stern and butt-hole alpha, a whiny and annoying alphess, and two spoiled and bratty pups. Yuck. The dog's nose wrinkled a little as she sniffed and thought about them, about their habits. But then her snarl faded as her sensitive nose caught the scent of food. A turkey. Fresh. She licked her chops, a mad twinkle coming into her eyes as she swyed around to the side of the house. They always left one window open, the one that was by the kitchen. Paws appeared onto the sill, followed by a muzzle, and then a pair of cold blue eyes. The family was sitting at the round wooden thin that she heard them call a 'table'. The pups were fighting over some kinf of silver thing, the alpha grumbling for them to stop even though they paid no heed, and the alphess was getting the food ready. A pink tongue flicked out again to run along her maw as the turkey came into sight. As soon as it was set on the table, as soon as all of those annoying pests were seated....
Jemma sprung. She lifted herself through the window with a quick bounce, her back legs pushing, front pulling her up and in. With a series of angry and sharp barks and snarls and rammed down onto the table, sending everything crashing about. The alphess screamed, the alpha shouted, and the pups cowered in fear. And the fae was laughing at them. How they cower in fear at me! Fools! Her jaws clamped toghtly around the turkey, barely able to get a good grip it was so large and fat. But she managed it. She held on tight. A snarl escaped her maw, muffled by the meat that was making her salivate, as she saw the alpha coming towards her. She leapt towards him, causing him to shout and fall down, and sprang right back out the open window, past the alphess and her cowering pups. Her swift strides carried her right back to the edge of the village, a chorus of barks, yips, and shouts following her. She dropped the turkey, panting and laughing hysterically, at the dip in the ground where she slept. As soon as she could breath again, her maw closed around the cooked flesh, knawing it up hungrily with her sharp teeth. She settled down with the large turkey infront of her, between her paws, her body still rushing with adreniline as she started to take another bite. Oh, how they cower! How they are scared! Fools... But they are right. They should cower. Should fear me. The bastards. Haters. How I hate them so! They deserve it! Were her fevered thought, her angry, fevered thoughts as she tore another bite from the still steaming turkey.
