Jourdan strutted through the streets of Hallow, head held high, looking for any sight of the alphas. The relationship between humans and canines in this village intrigued him, and he wanted to make himself a part of it. He didn't care that the canines here apeared to be predominantly dogs. He was sure that he could make the pack.
A pair of females giggling to themselves were coming the opposite direction of the wolf, and he smiled at them playfully. Whether it was because they didn't notice him, or because they were choosing to ignore his flirting, they gave no response as they walked by. Jourdan just shrugged. Such things didn't affect him. He was admired by enough females as it was, so these two didn't matter much. Nodding to the beat of a tune in his head, he marched on, continuing his search for the alphas.

Wesley trotted casually around the inner workings of the town, not finding any actual need for assistance amongst the villagers today who seemed occupied indoors or out so far from the village and into secret fields that he could not help them either. A strong breeze was blowing which added a nip to the air in the secluded village which reminded Wes that it was spring and not winter though certainly not summer with such coolness. Ah, the bite of spring. No wonder pups are born now with those teeth of theirs. He thought, still trotting.
A scent caught Wesley off guard. A wolf in Hallow Village? Uncertain as to whether he should immediately attack or simply approach the other like any other dog, Wes took a detour towards the male which was making it quite evident where he strolled with his prowess. It's very brave of a wolf to come prancing into town. It's rather unheard of really. Wesley thought, trying to keep his hackles from rising. It was sheer instinct to chase out a wolf particularly when none of the other dogs or the humans would be keen on the idea of a wolf lingering about.
Catching up Jourdan, Wesley increased his speed on his lean legs towards the wolf not wanting to appear like he was chasing the fellow, but merely on his way. Yet at the same time, the wolf was Wesley's business and he didn't want to just 'stumble' upon him. "Here goes nothing." He muttered to himself before raising his voice that he might be heard. "Excuse me, but may I help you?" He asked, pausing next to Jourdan not particularly intimidated by the size and bulk of a wolf compared to his hound physique. This was his home after all. This was Wes's playing field.

Safara watched as the two Hounds pranced along side each other,She was unfamiliar to these lands, things were very different here this cent has never past her nose before,Evin the wolves and dogs around here smelled foreign to her.She didn't know what to do what if the Hounds where her enemy's or friends.she was so desperate to find a pack and food shed do any thing write now to gain just a little bit of respect and nourishment from another wolf, she felt so lost after the ship wreck she survived. But she needed to know where she was if she was welcomed here.
Safara drooled at the thought of a home and a fresh slab of meat.
she decided to stand still and observe Wesley and Jourdan.waiting for the opportunity to either run or greet herself.

"Excuse me, but may I help you?"[/i]
Jourdan spun around to see a hound approaching standing next to him. There was something odd about the color of his eyes, but he couldn't quite place it at first.
"Yeah, actually, I could use a little help. See, I'm trying to find the alpha here because I want to get accepted into the pack." He lowered himself the four or so inches needed to be at eye level of this other. His gaze seemed distant, and Jourdan wondered why the Bosnian wouldn't look at him. It was only then that he realized that the glazed look in his eyes was blindness. Jourdan jumped back as if frightened he'd affend the hound by staring. "You...uh...you think you could help me find him?" he asked, trying to get his mind back on the original subject. His eyes darted about as he tried to avoid looking at the dog's.

Wesley was somewhat astonished by Jourdn's height, but was not tremendously afraid to approach a wolf in his village. He wasn't trying to be hostile, and his hackles lay flat with the rest of his fur only showing the diffidence with which he regarded the said wolf. He did, however, find it peculiar that the large male would hunker down to his level to gaze into his bottomless orbs when he couldn't return the stare. Naturally, he was used to people finding it necessary to see eye to eye, but the expression was worthless to Wesley. He was a heart to heart sort of fellow.
He found Jourdan's discomfort of talking to a dog he must have realized was blind almost amusing and Wes could not restrain a faint smile crossing his muzzle. As with many things, Wesley found the brighter side and was not at all disgruntled by one taking such surprise in his 'disability'.
"Yes I can help you find the alpha. One of them is missing in action for whatever reason she concocts, but the other, is right here." He replied, smiling more broadly as he continued to 'stare' back at Jourdan who had moved further away. He wondered how the wolf would take a smaller being acting as his superior, but wasn't troubled by it. If Jourdan had a problem with a hound over him only figuratively, he could move on.
Wesley was aware of another female presence not far off, but chose to ignore the observer for the moment. After all, the fae had not presented herself an she would come in time. Perhaps she was shy, or perhaps she had another agenda.
OOC| Argh, sorry it took so long for me to reply. I totally scrolled over it. *scuffles foot and looks sheepish* Eheh.

A blind hound, and a leader how odd? Safara thought to her self.Safara did not mind this for she knew those who lack something always gains intelligence in something els. She decided to approach the two cautiously,Any other wolf could of caught them off guard easily from the position she was in but Safara was not like that at all she was a kind wolf, she was a happy go lucky kind of soul that ...wise yet kinda backward .she hunkered down she approached the Wesley and Jourdan. forgive me for trespassing,I'm not from these lands.its bin a while since safara spoke to one other being she felt odd,but she had to get to know someone perhaps even join a pack.Safara just couldn't find herself to rummage threw garbage near the humans .she feared them for what thieve done to her and her family and wanted nothing to do with them. Safara perked her head a little and looked up at Jourdan You must learn to respect the leader, she sed with a small grin .A leader faces the music, even when he doesn't like the tune. The sound of safaras stomach interrupted her lecturing. Its been 2 days since safara last ate she did not wish to beg to other wolves or humans for food but to live in this foreign region she had to find help. Safara explained what she went threw kavsie.proboards78.com/index.cgi?board=profiles&action=display&thread=1159317923(ooc)I'm sorry I'm very new at RPing i added the info on safara i hope you don't mind i just thought it would help a lil.

OOC| I am waiting for Myenna to reply.
Also Safara, typically in acceptance threads, they are only for alphas or others who are allowed to accept that member in which I assume you don't know since, as you said, you are new to role-playing. I appreciate your attempts, but please try to leave links out of the actual RP and make an attempt to actually have it spoken out. Most wolves or dogs would not be inclined to blurt out their whole history anyway if they have one.

((OOC: I'm sooo sorry it took me so long to reply))
"You're the alpha?" he asked. "I'm sorry." He bowed his head slightly to show submission, but realized that the dog couldn't have seen it and so said, "I...uh...I'd like to join this pack, if that's okay." He was making a fool of himself, tripping over his words and acting so surprised at everything that the other had to say. Jourdan paused for a moment, trying to gather himself so that he could give his best first impression. After a deep breath, he said, more calmly than before, "I know it'd be weird having a wolf around the village, but I'm sure the humans will learn to love me soon enough. No one else has found it hard." He beemed, another futile gesture. He'd have to get used to this.
Suddenly, another wolf, female by the looks of it, appeared seemingly out of nowhere. She approched Jourdan and the alpha catiously. She seemed lost and hungry. "Hey, there," he said, trying to reach out a friendly hand to this stranger, though perhaps it'd hadn't been the best of desitions. Taking the red wolf by surprise, looked up at him instead of the other as if he were some sort of leader. Whether it was because he had been the first to speak, or because she had assumed that being a wolf he would surely be above the dog he didn't know. He did know that this response, especially when he was trying to gain favor with the alpha, was very much unwanted.
"I, uh...I think you have the wrong guy," said Jourdan, backing away so that the alpha was bewteen the two. Jourdan would let him take over now.

Wesley judged Jourdan hearing on the gestures or, at the very least, sensing them in one way or another. The large fellow seemed a little awkward in his big wolf skin. How very interesting! Wes smiled obligingly to try and allow Jourdan to relax and be more at ease. Wesley knew it was difficult to adjust to addressing someone with out sight, but Wes still received many of the cues with or without his eyes despite what others might think. "You needn't feel so burden or impaired in expression just because I don't see you.' He assured, adjusting his own stance as he calculated the large brute.
Jourdan spoke well for himself and seemed peculiarly friendly for his breed. Wesley did not feel that he should doubt the large fellow in his confidence that the humans should welcome him eventually. After all, most couldn't tell a wolf from a sheep given the proper setting. They'd dismiss him as an over-sized husky.
"You speak well for yourself so I'll welcome you here. I have no doubt if you find it less to your liking that you'll just leave though I should hope you wouldn't. Amiability is striven for and you demonstrate it well enough, no?" Wesley grinned. Jourdan had tried to show friendliness or others gestures to put Wes at ease which, in Jourdan's eyes had failed, but Wes had still acknowledged them. Jourdan could stay as long as he liked. "Welcome to Hallow Village, Jourdan. Ask of me and my mate or others anything you may require."
OOC| Such an awkward post on my part! Sorry for the lateness and finally welcome to Hallow!
