Zeffe
I padded along at a swift pace inside the forest. My paws froze to the ground as the scent of humans and dogs came to my nose. I hesitated, staring at the direction the scents drifted from. I sighed, trying to build some confidence. I turned my paws to pad towards it. Nervousness fluttered in my chest. It grew with every paw step I made closer. I slowed my pace slightly so I could get my nerves under control. I sighed after afew moments before I spotted the village though a curtain of ferns. I stopped, on the outskirts of the forest, and watched with curious brown eyes. I hesitated before I moved my ebony paws forwards, bringing my form into view of the village.
I hoped they didn't think me as a wolf that only came to steal their food instead of a dog that wanted a home. I looked wolf like. But I had no wolf blood in me. I looked like my stocky father more then my lean mother. I sat down on my hackles, hoping to look less like some wolf or dog that came to attack.
I glanced up at the sky, where the midday sun shown so brightly I had to squint my brown eyes slightly so my eyes would not sting. The blue sky held only small white clouds that drifted around, at what seemed like at random though winds guided their path. I was hoping for a shower. To me, the more rain the better. I didn't know how long ago this region had rain since I just came upon it. A little rain never did any harm right?
My gaze swiched back down towards the village. Ebony ears pricked and brown eyes searching I waited patiently to be noticed, though I hoped to be noticed soon enough.
