Waters too cold but the rocks are gorgeous!
A large canine pounced on glittering rock that had caught the light of anemic sun, its pale beams managing to fight through the gathering clouds enough to show off the brillant shells and stones scattered across the large beach. The dog, a mutt and mongrel and proud to be so, clamped his jaws joyously around the sparkling stone, tail wagging so hard it's tip was hitting him in the sides with each waggle. He instantly began prancing around, showing off his sparkling prize to all before suddenly dropping it and pouncing off after a scuttling black crab, bark a slightly high pitched bark. It amused the black, brown, and white dog to watch such an odd creature scuttle sideways along the sands and rocks, large pensir held in front of its self like a sheild. Its smaller one it kept tucked close to its tiny boney body, stalk eyes watching the large furry monster prance around and bounce its front paws onto the dirt.
The cur, whose name was Bolivar, grinned, showing off large fangs all around. "My, my, my, worried about little old me?"he said airly, now walking with a slight bump in hips. He placed his paws elogantly infront of him and hummed to the pink panther song. The crab only grew more nervous and swiveled its eyes towards a hole in the sand not too far away. Quickly it began scuttling as quick and as fast as its little jointed legs would take it only to have a Bolivar's paw land in the hole. "Whoap, whoap whoap, my crustacean friend,"He said, laying himself down on the cold sand and keeping his paw over the crab hole,"I'm not done playing. Don't you wanna keep a dog company?"
"Not really..."the crab squeaked at last. Suddenly crab began to dig a new escape faster than Bolivar'd ever seen a crab move and with in seconds the dog was just staring at a mound of pushed out dirt. The large grin faded and was replaced by a frown, the mismatched eyes watching the hole a bit irritably.

Kusari walked quietly along the beach, leaving a trail of paw prints along the ivory sanded beach. Her form almost blended with the sand, such pure white fur disappearing along the shore. Next to her side shuffled her younger brother, Flicker, who walked with his head pointed down, not wanting to look at any strangers
She saw a mottle-headed dog pouncing playfully along the beach and she paused. She glanced at Flicker, but her little brother hadn’t noticed anyone else, his eyes just as glazed as ever.
“Hello!” Kusari called, her voice ringing across the beach. She didn’t come towards the dog though. She was a wolf, but she still didn’t want to put Flicker in danger if she could avoid it. Maybe she was being too cautious, but she didn’t care.

Bolivar had stretched himself out on the sand with his hind legs splayed backwards and his dark paw pads showing to the world. One of his long front legs was tucked against his dark chest, his white toes brushing against the white splotch on his chest. The other paw was curled around the crab hole as he shoved his medium sized muzzle forced itself down into the hole, snuffling about. He pulled out as the crab pinched him and he chuckled softly.
His button ears twitched as he heard the soft voice and he looked up, watching the female with his usual glittering eyes. A wolfish grin spread on his features and he stood up on his large cat feet paws, shaking out his fur. "Well, well, well,"he said,"I get company on such an auspicious day, mmm?" He loped his way forwards slowly, stopping half way between the wolf and the crab hole.
A white toed paw reached up and straightened the monocle over his blue eye, allowing him to look over the pair a little bit better. The larger of the two was wolf and pur white. He found her a bit drab to look at but pretty all the same. He trailed his eyes over her before zooming his mismatched eyes on the smaller wolf. It was splotched dark brown on lighter brown background and looked dead to the world, something that also bored the larger canine.
His eyes lowered to half mast and he decided he liked the crab better. His devilish grin disappated to a silky smile. "Fair maiden and young cub, what brings you to this boring little part of the world?"he said his eyes trailing away to land on a shiney shell. His tail began to wag hard and he pounced on the shell, flopping down in a lay position and looking at it between his large paws.
((Its fine. ^^ I'm just happy someone replied. x3 Thank you again.))

Kusari stepped back from the dog. He was a little too over-rambunctious, but he seemed harmless enough, maybe a little weird looking with that strange glass circle over his eye. He was also larger…or maybe she was just that small? Regardless or all this, she was still a little edgy, but slowing calming down.
She didn’t really need to tell him she had been staying here at the beach with her brother. It was only suppose to be for a while, but the tasty treats that lay on the beach were a much easier meal than having to hunt, especially when Flicker was tagging along. She knew he hated it here, but he had no choice.
“I’m just traveling with my little brother, obviously nothing as interesting as you might have been doing,” Kusari said, her voice showing she was having some sort of insight about Bolivar, even if they had only met.
In reality, Kusari knew very little about this dog. She only knew that he was very, very playful. He was nothing like the wise old canine she had met in that cold graveyard, maybe more like that playful little otter, but he was mostly just…strange to her. She had never met a dog like him; then again, she rarely made company with dogs.
She glanced at Flicker and sighed. Sometimes she wished she could be as detached from the world as him, but if she was they would both be dead. Flicker’s dark eyes met hers, something that rarely happened. After he realized she was looking at him he quickly glanced away, pressing his head into her side.
She looked back at the strange dog, “I’m Kusari, this is Flicker,” she said, nodding at her brother. She felt a little awkward, being so informal compared to the black and brown dog, but she wasn’t going to try to talk like he did, she doubt she even could. It didn’t come to her so easily to be so polite. She was a wolf after all.

((He's actually a black dog. In the drawing of him I made him dark grey so you could see his outling. ^^ ) "Mmmmm.... Flick and Kusa?"Bolivar said mismatched eyes glancing to the pair,"What names of character you have! So much better than my own devilishly plain name. I go by Bolivar but most call me Barty, you see." He grinned, showing off all his jagged fangs and stood reluctantly; afterall, a theif is never eager to leave such a shiny treasure behind. However, Barty did, shaking the sand from his white under belly and making his way to a single hat on the beach. It was black and prestinely clean with a feather plooming one side. A red feather. The odd dog scooped it up with his very aposable paws and plopped it on his head with a gusto and joy, the hat's lip hiding his black eye and leaving his very shiney, very bright blue to stare over the pair of wolves. "Do you have a hobby, Kusa?"he said sitting down and wrapping his long back tail around his white toed paws and watching the pair with interest. He knew without being told the young cub wouldn't answer any of his questions so why should he even try focusing his attention on him. No use what so ever.

||OoC: Fixed it. XD||
Kusari’s brow twitched. What an odd name he had given her. At least she understood it for the most part, and it wasn’t something totally insane. She then had to question what kind of dog he was further, after seeing him top his own head with a strange looking…hat.
Kusari had certainly seen humans were hats, but the white wolf had never seen a dog wear one.
“Hobbies?” Kusari said, as if though the question confused her.
Who had time for hobbies? She certainly didn’t. It was deadly out there. She had run into danger more than once. If this dog had ‘hobbies’ certainly he lived a better life than she or her brother did, which amazed her, especially with the wolves like the Sallin kind running around killing any kind of dog they came across.
“Oh, I don’t really have time for hobbies,” She admitted, though she couldn’t seem to wipe the confused expression off of her face. “I guess I’m trying so hard to support us both…”
She sighed, and glanced away from Barty. She couldn’t be as carefree as he was. There was too much responsibility for her to take on. Already her and Flicker were running out of food to scavenge here. Not only that, but as all canine’s seemed to be, she longed for the security of the pack, and she was ready to shirk some of these responsibilities and maybe actually live a little.
Her biggest fear was that if she did find a pack, they wouldn’t let Flicker in, and there was no way she was leaving her little brother behind. She closed her eyes, sadness enveloping her. Even the thought of it was too much.
“We’re just barely hanging on the way it is,” She muttered, mostly to herself.

"Mmm... Are you any good at... theft?"Barty rumbled softly,"If so, I have a way you might be able to gain some food. You see, there is a restraunt not far from here that has a gorgeous statue of a porcilian dog in its window... I want that statue. If you can help me achieve that statue then I might be able to help you achieve something to eat for your deathly quiet brother and yourself. Savvy, Kussy?"
A grin, more lupine then any wolf could gain, stretched his white maw, all his pearly whites showing. "I might even be able to get you information on a near by pack, if I'm lucky to come across any of the hounds from it." The blue eye glittered with cool intelligence and superior joy at a chance of getting a prize he'd been wanting for so long but had been recently unable to attain.

Kusari glanced nervously at Flicker as Bolivar explained his situation. She had rarely ever stolen anything before, and if she did steal it was usually food and she usually got caught just as she was getting away. She could usually pull of a successful theft among wolves and others her kind, but she had never stolen a human material object. She had even more trouble understanding why Bolivar would want such an object. He couldn’t eat it, could he?
The again, he did say he might be able to get her and Flicker food. Unfortunately she noticed that he didn’t promise her food. It was a risky situation.
“What will Flicker do while this is happening?” Kusari suddenly asked, showing that she had obviously considered what Barty had to say. She wouldn’t do it if it put Flicker in danger.
And even if they did find someway to conceal Flicker, she was also worried about whether or not he would stay there. She glanced at him again, though he didn’t return the gaze. He had a tendency to be stuck to her flank.

"He's apparently good at keeping quiet,"Barty said with a snicker, standing up and swishing his tail through the air. He circled curiously around the toy, sniffing slightly at Flicker's head before snorting and moving around Kusari. "Is he clumsy?"he asked as he snaked around Kusari's front and grinned at her.
His attention was suddenly drawn away by the site of the crab he'd been previously chasing and pounced on it, his paws crushing the little crustation with a series of pops and creaks. Moving his paw, his grin grew wider if possible and quickly he picked at the shell and meat that he could find, gobbling it up and crunching it between his large teeth.

"Is he clumsy?"
“Yes,” Kusari answered. Flicker drew back away from Barty, though he didn’t look at the dog. “He’s definitely not the greatest for fast getaways or being sneaky for that matter.”
Her brown eyes watched as the dog suddenly turned from her to pounce on a tasty treat. She watched with a stoic expression, though deep down there was a storm brewing. She was starting to mistrust this dog. He seemed to aloof to care about what was going on around him, or really care about Kusari and Flicker. Obviously if he was looking to steal something, and it wasn’t something he needed for sustenance, he was probably obsessed with material items more than he cared about the company of others.
It was almost saddening to think about, that one could be this way. Certainly he hadn’t got there all by himself.
“I don’t know if this is such a great idea,” Kusari said, her voice showing her skepticism. “Do you even have a plan of how we’re going to go about this?”

"Mmm... In fact I do, Kusssssssssssssy,"Barty said rolling onto his back and batting a crab claw into the air. He opened his maw and CRUNCH! The claw crackled as he chewed on it and swallowed. Sneezing momentarily after the claw went down the dog sat staring at the cloudy sky before propping his head up on his furry white splotched chest, tail wagging hard. "I've watched the store for days now and the humans always leave at the same time,"he said wicked excitement alighting in his eyes,"And they always forget to close this one window."
He rolled over onto his side, paws curled against his side and chest and his tail still beating the sandt earth and tongue lolling out of his speckled white maw. "That window leads to the kitchen,"he said, eyes sparkling all the more like the stars,"You can shimmy into that window and unlock the door. Its a dead bolt. Just spin the little thing with your paw and and push the handle of the door down. I'd go through the window but its much too small for me."
