((Wasn't sure to put in the topic, if I wanted to join... is that OK?))
Blackie, wandered through the dark forests, of this new, and strange land. She was only 3 summers old, not that old, but then again, not to young, to be a potential threat. Her matted coat, and glazed eyes, shone in through the moonlight trees.
Blackie needed something to eat, before it was to late, and she starved, she looked around for a potential meal, with her ears up, and her nose constantly twitching, and waiting for an unknown scent to approach her, or for her to approach it.
As she wandered deeper into the forest, she noticed a particular smell, that caught her attention. Her ears laid back flat, proclaiming she was hostile, yet enough that she could still hear is something was coming, she paced to wards the smell, and only realized it was a dead rabbit.
It was fresh. She quickly backed away, but not fast enough, and smelt a totally new scent coming from a new direction, so she halted in her steps, and awaited the entity, to approach her.

Fellen trotted through Sallin, her eyes scanning across the ground before her. Her blond hair flapped in her face as her paws struck the ground as lightly as falling feathers, tossed back into the air with ease and gentle touching the ground again. Her nostrils filled with a new scent, someone unfamiliar to this land. She pinpointed their location, realizing they must be somewhere near the border.
She was correct. She broke from the trees, noticing a wolf standing near the border. A slight smile crossed her face as she walked up. The wolf looked rather scraggly, a there was hunger bruning in its eyes. She followed its gaze to notice the dead rabbit, wondering what it was doing laying around. Sallin had enough food shortages as it was, not food was just lying around? Somebody was going to be in deep trouble for this. Still, she had to give this newcomer some credit, she hadn't crossed the border even when the food was only a step away, if that wasn't respect Fellen didn't know what was.
"Greetings newcomer," Fellen adressed this new wolf, "What brings you to Sallin?"

Blackie was confused and dazed, and hit took her many moments, before she could reply. "I . . . " she stuttered, "I've come in hopes to find a new home, a place to stay. Maybe even a . . ." she hesitated before continuing, " and maybe, even a family?" She stopped with that, and waited ever so patiently, for the wolf, to reply. She was watching the wolfs every muscle tense and intense, and watched every sudden movement, with her eyes. She listened, for anything strange that may be coming, and also, if the wolf made any sudden movements, not only her eyes, would see it, but her ears would hear it. Her nose was constantly twitching, and was searching for another new scent, but could not find any, nor smell anything at all. Her stomach was ravenous, and she just wanted to sleep.

Fellen gave the wolf an inquistive look. Was it just her mind playing tricks on her, or was this wolf acting rather...jumpy? She seemed tense, very tense, as if she expected something to jump out at her any instant. Sympathy burned into Fellen's heart, and a compassionate smile spread over her face. A family, eh? Sallin wasn't much of a family, in fact, loyalty here was to your alpha above all, but still...who could blame this wolf? She seemed lost and alone, and Fellen hoped in her heart that she could help her.
"Relax," Fellen sighed, "You seem very tense, I am the daughter of the alphess of this pack, the "Princess of Sallin", but you may call me Fellen, what is your name?"
((sorry for the shortness!))

Blackie took this wolfs advice, and got more relaxed, but her nose kept going. "My name is ... Blackie," she replied, glancing at between the wolf, and the trees. Her ears lay down to the side, not behind her nor in front, but to the sides.
Her ears picked up something all of a sudden, near the trees in which she glanced over to. "Fellen? What was that??" she questioned with great intention to find out what it was. She wanted to walk foward towards it, but the are was behin Fellen, and she did not want to offend the Princess of Sallin.

Fellen's eyes followed Balckie's, but she saw nothing as she glanced over at the trees. Turning ehr head again, she kept her eyes on this wolf, realizing they were becoming rather, unpredictable. You had to be careful while dealing with unpredictable wolves.
Was this wolf truly right for Sallin? Fellen knew she obviously wanted in very badly, but what would happen after that? Would the creulty of the pack shape her as one of it's own, or would her heart be broken when she realized how cold a place this was? Would she fear the darkness, or would she hate the light? Either way, Fellen was feelign slgihtly doubtful.
Still, she wanted to give this wolf a chance. She had to give Blackie some credit for not stepping into Sallin territory even when she was being distracted. She was being fairly polite, though her manner was slightly never wracking.
"It's alright," Fellen replied, "I'm sure it's nothing. Now, I need to know what you think you can bring to this pack. What are your strentghs and weaknesses, and be sincere please, I know honesty when I see it."
Fellen knew soem wolves had trouble answering this question in a manner that benefitted them. It could be tricky, weighign out the good and the bad. Many wolves would stretch their reputation a tad, but Fellen knew that it was those wolves who fell easily. She would just have to wait and see the sort of reply she recieved from this interestign character.

"Well," Blackie barked,"I'm a strong fighter, I notice things no ordinary wolf would"--she paused to look around, with her head only moving ever so slightly--" and I can dig, very well. My weaknesses however"--she sighed, knowing her weaknesses would make her not-welcome into the pack--" well, I'm a nervous wreck at most times, but, mostly around wolves I do not know, I'm not good at recognizing landmarks, even after I've been around them, for quite some time, and my colourations, make it hard for me to catch prey," she barked softly, and took a step back," I'm not sure exactly what I can do for the pack, but I know, I could be, uhm... some help?"

Fellen gave the wolf a good, long, and thoughtful stare, her eyes serious, her usual hint of excitement lost withint their depths. She was giving this some serious thought, she knew this hesitation on her part was only making this wolf more nervous, but she couldn't help it. She needed to come to a decision, but she felt a bit tense about making one. Perhaps her sympathy for this wolf was overcoming her good judgement.
Still, she saw promise in this being. If only she could get over her nervous way of acting and get more comfortable with the pack. Over time, that could surely be established. Fighters was something Sallin needed. Although, the wolf's fur did seem a bit out of the ordinary, and prey was rather scarce here, with enough hard work she could make it on her own. Besides, Sallin needed more wolves. It needed loyal warrirors that would follow orders, and Fellen could tell that this wolf would be an excellent addition to the ranks. It didn't matter to her if others didn't agree, she wanted Blackie to have her desire, she wanted her in this pack.
"Well Blackie," Fellen smiled kindly, "I've come to a choice, I believe you should become a part of Sallin, and belong here. Therefore, I welcome you into our ranks. "

A sudden look of enjoyment overcame Blackie's expression. "Really?" she barked, out in enjoyment. "When can I meet the others?" the asked. She new she was getting a little rouled up over this 'good news', and she had to tone it down a bit. Her senses were tingling, as this wolfess had accepted her. She hadn't had a home, a few seconds ago, but now she had one. She was excited yes, much excited, but she hid most of her excitement, so maybe the wolfess would not rethink her choice. Blackie bowed down her head, and got ready to follow her, to where ever she desired to go.

This time, a real grin spread over the wolf's face. Fellen's eyes filled with a bit of excitement too, as if the feeling was radiating from the newcomer. It truly was a wonderful day when a new wolf was broguth to the pack.
Blackie was truly enlightened by this news, and it made her happy to notice. This wolf had seemed so unconfident before, but now she seemed to be less cautious. That was good, perhaps she was already warming up to the pack.
Fellen nodded and turned her back to the other wolf, staring out at the forest of Sallin.
"If you follow me, I'll see if we can find a few of the other wolves," Fellen looked back with a smile, "This pack isn't exactly huge, and the wolves are fairly spread out, but I'm sure they will like to meet you."

Blackie nodded her head in agreement, and stood p. She trotted behind Fellen, following her in this dusk land. Blackie got to observe her surroundings, without having to be cautious, or alert all the time, and it was actually a quite interesting landscape.
