((Mythic here! First rp! Go ahead and join in^^))
Mythic was in a fould mood.
A truly, very, foul mood.
One could tell from the expression on her face, from the flames in her eyes that threatened all life that dare approach, from the fur that stood straight up like spectators staring to the heavens. She was one angry, annoyed, ticked off wolf.
The silver and orange wolf stormed about the lands of Sallin, her pawsteps heavy and angry. She grumbled to herself as she walked, not really knowing where she was headed. Right now though, she couldn't care less.
What had sent her into this mood? Ever since she had been young she couldn't stand idiocy, and now it was really showing. Whether it was becuase of that rabbit that had gotten away from her earlier that morning, or the fact that she saw no other wolves hunting, she was one unhappy wolf.
She was just one member, how could she be expected to do all the work? She went full days without seeign so much as another wolf. This was a pack, wasn't it? It was supposed to be some sort of gathering of wolves all with a similar cause, not a band that say eachother every now and then. Sallin could never become strong with unity.
"If you ask me our lazy-butt alphas should be doin somethin," her voice was cold and angry, "Get off yo tails Kaine and Nightshade!"
In fact, she didn't regret muttering the words most would be terrified of. Her alphas were nowhere in sight, she could scream all she wanted and they would never hear her. She respected them, but at the same time, she was sick of them.
She was a spy, she wasn't a hunter. She needed to quit doing someone else's job. And announcing her anger to the world helped her blow off steam. Anyway, who was around to notice? What did she have to lose...

Dark clouds hovered over the barren lands of Sallin. A place adapt to only the support only the most fit, and a place known for it's disposition. The ways of the evil and cruel ruled over this land, and had been in effect ever since the pack started after the fall of Raknu.
There was no breeze, and the air was a thick, choking atmosphere that could only be breathed by those who inhabited the lands. The entire pack of Sallin was an monarchy, and set well within a strict order of ranks, punishments, but most importantly, ruled over by it's alphas whom the whole pack was loyal too and should serve them at any cost. Be it there life itself should they throw to their alpha's feet and beg to be used, stamped upon, and mauled at the alpha's own will.
But so far, in the past few weeks, it had come to the point where order was out of question. The alphas were not around as much as usual, and some wolves had already stepped out of line. That put to the point, Akatsuki had punished several subordinates as he thought they needed it so. They had gone and pushed the male, and one, had tried to sneak out of the borders. It rebelled his disagreement, and he ended up slewing the half-breed. Not that Nightshade would miss such a monstrosity.
Teeth were bared for all to see if they saw him, and his emerald eyes glinted like obsidian in the dim light, and his pelt shifted with every movement of his great body. The Sallin Warrior wasn't quite in a fury, but if any where to test him now, he would be on them before they could protest.
But a voice came to his ears along these lands, and it brought with it something he was in no mood to hear. Be it true or not, Akatsuki wouldn't have even a slight bit of disrespect. He came upon the wolf, whom he knew to be a spy, but could not place a name to appearance.
His voice came along as a hiss, and the only thing heard in it was fury and malice. Fangs were seen clearly, and whoever the wolf was, it had better know it's place as it was. A spy, nothing more, nothing less. Or, only less to the Sallin Warrior, who could care less about anyone in a lower rank than himself.
"Watch yourself..."

Straloch was bored. Being bored was not something that happened often with the Warrior. She was usually perfectly content to just hang around without moving for hours. This, however, was not one of those times. The dark brown wolf had decided to go out for a walk, and perhaps find some creature commiting a crime that she could patronize.
What fun that would be.
The Warrior wandered through the trees aimlessly, covering the ground slowly, as if she was dreading what she would find when she arrived to a certain place. Suddenly, the female's ears pricked.
"If you ask me our lazy-butt alphas should be doin somethin, Get off yo tails Kaine and Nightshade!"
Score! There was a wolf out there badmouthing the Alphas! She couldn't have walked in on a more perfect situation. Altering her course slightly so that she headed in the direction of the sound, Straloch increased her pace, raising her head defiantly. Her mouth twisted itself into a frown. Straloch had come into view of the offending creature. A spy had said that? Blue eyes narrowed suspiciously as the female stared at Mythic, judging her.
"Watch yourself..."
The wolf's head whipped around, staring at Akatsuki curiously. So there was another wolf here as well. Raising a brow, the female spoke.
"I'd be careful if I were you. You don't want them to hear you saying that..."
Straloch couldn't exactly say she was pleased with the Alphas. After all, they were virtually nonexistant. However...She was going to openly state that she didn't like them, either.
"It'd be a pity if they found out somehow..."
The female's muzzle twisted into a malicious grin, and a quiet chuckle rumbled up from her chest. She seemed to have forgotten that Akatsuki was there -- Or maybe she just didn't care about his prescence. He was a warrior, but unless he bothered her, he didn't matter much.

Mythic whirled around, her eyes burning with rage. The first voice she had heard was one she had planned to ignore, but now there were two wolves here!? And the second one didn't sound like someone she could tolerate very well.
She almost automatically noticed Akatsuki standing nearby, and the fur on her back stood up straight. He was a warrior, she could tell just from his scent. Warriors tended to be conceited and full-of-themselves in her mind, she would watch out for this one. Give a fool a high rank in Sallin like warrior, and you ended up with sitautions like this. It made her irritated, why should the army, the wolves who did nothing but the dirty work of Sallin, be above the wolves whose training and ability was far superior. Herself being a spy, Mythic was a bit unhappy with being around warriors. She'd seen them beat the life out of wolves before for absolutely no reason other than enjoyment.
However, she wasn't one who would allow herself to be harmed. This spy had found herself in terrible situations before, and she'd always come out fairly easy. These warriors weren't exactly dangerous, or they at least hadn't proved it yet.
"I'd watch myself if I were you," she snapped to both the wolves, "Why don't you go chase a squirrel and stay out of my business!"

Black clouds roiled and churned in the sky, darkening the land below, making shadows of the wind whipped trees seem so much more like monsters ready to leap and tear and rend the flesh of those that passed under them. But still the storm had more to offer, lightning flashing as thunder shook the ground below. It was said that those born in a storm were fearless warriors, fit to take on the most powerful of things in life....
If this were true, then the figure that stood there now, with gleeming, cunning emerald eyes, had been born in nothing less than a thousand year tempest. Speaking of....
....few ever really knew darkness.
They could walk in it, revel in it, but their minds always turned toward the light. A wolf looking up at the stars did not notice that canvas the small points of light where painted upon. They simply wanted to see those dots... those small, burning things that gave them that feeling of hope.
Hope was a false emotion. There was only facts. What could be, what happened, and what was.
And darkness was just that; darkness. To those that feared the unknown, it was a malicious presence, given life by their own petty minds that swayed oh-so-easily to suggestion and happenstance. He was almost disgusted at their idiocy, but for the sole fact that because of their baseless fears, the night, and the darkness that resided there, became a part of his sanctuary. Solitude was so much easier to gain in the darkness. Much was quiet, the day birds and pests gone to their hollows to rest and be reawakened by the blistering sun that cruelly paced over the darkened peaks of Sallin.
The same was true now, darkness reined over him, over his soul, over his very being. Over every fiber that moved, breathed, and lived was consumed by it. Forever to be the servant of the shadows that criss crossed the land. A voice came from that Spy, a mocking voice almost, and filled with her anger.
The anger that was already there now festered, heating up to it's boiling point at the very notion that came around as the threads of time itself came to be. Pelt spiked up, just as those threads rose, growing to tower over all the rest. But there was nothing on his face to be read, save for the constant smirk he wore, there was nothing to see. His voice however, was full of amusement, and even sprinkled with a dash of morbid humor.
"But I don't chase squirrles...."

"I'd watch myself if I were you, Why don't you go chase a squirrel and stay out of my business!"
"But I don't chase squirrles...."
Annoying.
That's all this argument was turning out to be.
"This is a pack. You don't have secrets or personal business." The wolf paused for a moment, eyes darting around with suspicion. "You're a spy, aren't you? What...did you make some friends while you were off with the other packs? Someone else you'd rather serve...?" The female sneered, flicking one torn ear in defiance. Although the Spy wasn't ranked above her, Straloch got a certain amount of satisfaction from openly defying those around her. The male was a Warrior too, and she had no interest in bothering him...
Straloch liked to fight. But, a spar with no point in mind other than blowing up an ego a little more was annoying. Straloch fought to gain practical things -- Whether it be the safety of the pack, or some sort of personal gain. As far as the Warrior was concerned, life was a battle. All the problems it threw at you were life's little warriors, bent on having a skirmish. You could either fight and lose, or avoid them, and lose.
There was no 'winning' in life.
Plunking down on her bottom, more to show how thoroughly relaxed and unthreatened she was than out of any actual exhaustion, the female turned her blue gaze to Akatsuki, studying him for a moment. He was quiet; a mysterious sort of wolf...She hadn't developed much of an opinion on him yet.
This Spy however seemed too...spunky. One of those wolves who went around attacking everything because they thought the world was against them. I've got news for you, girly. Straloch's grin widened, a reflection of her inner thoughts. [/i]The whole world's against you. Here comes their army now...[/i]
Perhaps the female could be described as just a bit psychotic.
Few got deep enough in her mind to determine her actual level of sanity.

MYTHIC ((Sorry that took me so long))
"But I don't chase squirrels...."
What was the point of that stupid comment? Mythic shrugged her shoulders in the best way a wolf could muster, her eyes burning in annoyance. What did she care if he chased those furry creatures or not? Exactly, she didn’t. That comment earlier had been for sarcastic reasons, perhaps he was too stupid to realize that. She’d meant to call him an idiot in her own way. It wasn’t quite as fun when others didn’t recognize your insults the way you wanted them too. However, right now she didn’t truly care. Hot coals still seemed to be jumping about in her mind, along with smoldering flames in her heart.
Anger, such a cruse of the world. That was the dark emotion that pushed her to growl and snap at others. It consumed her so easily and often too. She despised those who could always laugh and smile, for what was there to laugh and smile about? The world was slowly crumbling away, and battle was quickly coming forth. Soon, that laughter would be silence, and those smiles wiped away with blood. What a wonderful world.
"This is a pack. You don't have secrets or personal business."
What was that? Mythic shot the wolf an icy glare. No personal business eh? As if she wasn’t the only wolf who gossiped and ranted about others! As if she wasn’t the only wolf who felt anger towards other wolves! As if she wasn’t the only wolf who didn’t agree with everything the alpha said! Who was this fool to tell her what she could and could not do!? Anger burned in Mythic’s deep blue eyes as she stood there, imagining all the ways she could tear out this wolves heart. What a waste of life these two were…What idiots…Everyone had personal business and secrets, whether she liked it or not!
"You're a spy, aren't you? What...did you make some friends while you were off with the other packs? Someone else you'd rather serve...?"
“You speak lies,” Mythic hissed, lunging at this wolf so she was only inches from her noses, “ You have no experience, you are nothing but dirt beneath the paws of the higher ranks! You speak of loyalty, but where does yours lie? You speak of friends, but perhaps you have none? After all, I would never befriend a wolf who questioned another’s loyalty to their pack.”
Mythic turned away, suddenly feeling a tad bit ashamed for starting this argument. The wolf’s question had been honest, but deep in side, it had stung. She had undying loyalty to her pack, even if she didn’t seem to like it. She would always be loyal too. She’d seen other packs, and oh how she loathed them. Sallin was the only right place for her in this cursed world. How dare someone tell her otherwise…
“You are foolish,” her work shook with rage, “I have undying loyalty to my pack, my alphas, and this land. Question that again, and you’ll have my teeth at your throat.”
