Silent paw pads hit the ground as the smaller male walked around. His ears were perked as his head was held low. He had smelled a carcass a few yards away and wanted to check it out. From its scent it had been a while since it had died.
Morgue found the corpse and simply sat infront of it. Taking mental notes of all that had happened to it. It was fed upon, but looking at the marks it was from smaller animals than he. He was getting bored easily, he hadnt been on a mission or given a task since he was accepted into Sallin.
He stood once more and got closer to the body, nipping and tearing at it lightly; seeing what happened to the tissue when he did certain things to it. He backed up and lept high into the air, forcing his two front paws down onto its skull, almost like a balancing act, using his wieght to crush the skull beneath him, its rotting brains spurting out from the cracks. The silent male tilted his head as he stepped off it. This was a new technique he could use against his enemy once he was able to get them down.

The smell of death was not something that Carter relished, he did not glorify death either, for him, it was a distasteful inevitability. It was expected of him, Sallin had enemies on all sides, to fight and kill was natural. But still, death itself was not beautiful, it was a brutal ugly truth...and to come upon some strange wolf rummaging around the bodies of the dead just disgusted him.
And it wasn't as though the young prince would be quiet about the matter. "What the hell are you doing?" His tone was incredulous, his expression of the purest distaste. Though it was easy to see he was quite nauseated at the other male rending his paws through the head of the fallen.
He kept his distance from Morgue, wondering what sort of sickness, mental or physical ailed this uncouth brute. After all, he naturally saw himself as the better of most wolves, and while he would make bodies gladly if asked, he sure as hell wouldn't play with them afterwards.

Morgue's eyes turned to face Carter, the prince of Sallin. He had never met the other male but had heard from others about him. "I am seeing what kind of damage can be caused in certain ways." he grinned to the other as he squished his paws into the mushed brains of the deceased.
The smaller male walked up to the prince and licked the blood and small chunks off of his paws with delight. "There are things you must learn things about others and their limits before you can become a good assassin" he murred, his tail swaying happily behind him.

Such a response seemed to soothe Carter, and perked his interest. But he still seemed a bit leery about the activity of stomping heads. "You would think that would take too much time, for an assassin." He smirked, feeling a bit proud of his discovery. "I mean...it would be easier to just get in, slash their throat and go...wouldn't it?"
It seemed an awful lot of work to get them down, then smash their skulls...which wouldn't be as rotten if it was a fresher body. "I would think that would be too much work, especially since not everyone is the -same-..." He scoffed, and shook his thick mane of hair, "Speed and silence are the traits of a good assassin."

Morgue smiled contently as he listened to the soothing voice of the Sallin prince. "Yes, but sire, you must understand that I am not like most assassins. I love learning new techniques and find out how things can be damaged by others." His smirk grew as he began to circle the upper-rank. "Do you know how many small and tiny insignificant things can kill someone, or cause them great damage?" He said in his monotonous tone of voice

Sire?
Oooo he liked that, it made him bristle with a keen smile. He liked that a lot, which seemed to take some of the edge he was feeling with Morgue.
"I would suppose since you said something, a lot of things can kill something." He cocked a brow, irksome due to the other males know it all dry tone, and his skulking manner. He was to be the only know it all here. Carter frowned. He knew some wolves just died in their sleep for no reason.
