' you are as silly as a pup.'
"Hey takes one to know one" he said with a stupid lop sided grin and poked his tongue out childishly.
' My king.'
Hyde nodded with a grin, "And don't you forget that" he teased. He rolled around with her and lay on his side with his legs in the air, "You're too good for me" he sighed with a cheeky smirk. When she over leaped him Hyde took the oppotunity to play attack her and get the upper hand. He lunged at her and landed by her side, quickly pinning her down with his masive paws, "Do you surrender?" he asked and pushed her on her side so she was lying on the ground, Hyde standing over her.

Blix was caught by surprise as the Doberman jumped her and pinned her down. She laughed at the dog on top of her.
"Do you surrender?"
Blix struggled to get up but found it difficult with Hyde there. She smiled at him and licked his muzzle ‘ fine then I give up.’ She said with a sigh. ‘ Now let me up.’ She struggled again and managed to push Hyde of her. ‘ I am not too good for you Hyde, if anything you’re too good for me.’ She looked at the dog and grinned. She nuzzled him and smiled again.
Suddenly her ears pricked up at the sound of heavy footfalls coming their way. ‘ Humans.’ She said ‘We better get going or they will notice we took their fish.’ She looked at Hyde and smirked. ‘Come on now you sneaky dog, it’s getting late.’ She started off back the way they had come. ‘ And I better be getting back home.’ She said this with a sigh. She didn’t want to go back home, but she knew that she wasn’t particularly wanted around Rakine Port either.
She stopped and looked behind her, at the Doberman, that she had befriended. The sun was setting, and it was becoming darker every minute. Blix’s gaze then drifted up to the sky. ‘Gosh it’s beautiful. ‘ She sighed. Her eyes shimmered with admiration.

Hyde sat as Blix walked back into the forest, "See you tomorrow?" he asked as she dissapeared. Just then the man came round the corner, Hyde turned to see Jekyll stalking infront of him with a large smirk on his face. "Well boy?" asked the man, Jekyll looked around quickly tring to find the wolf. The man looked at the create where Hyde and Blix had eaten from, the lid hadn't completely closed, then to Hyde, "Good boy" he growled and petted Jekyll's head. He walked determinly over to Hyde, taking huge strides to get to him. When he did the man raised Hyde's lead and whipped him on the back, "You dirty mutt, how dare you steal our food!" he snarled and slapped Hyde again.
Hyde fell clumsily to the ground and quivered submissively infront of his master, whimpering and tring to lick the mans hand. The man didn't respond the way Hyde wanted and the man whipped him again before ruffly placing Hyde's choker collar around his neck and yanking it back with force. Hyde let out a terrified yelp but the man was already dragging him back to where Jekyll stood in disbelief.
As Hyde hurridly past Jekyll he gave his brother the coldest stare without saying a word. Jekyll followed the man back to the cabin where he was placed on his mat. Hyde was taken to the back of the cabin where he was lashed at some more. After about ten minutes Hyde re-emerged from the back room, blood running from a cut on his neck where his choker collar had been choking Hyde to the point of bleeding. He had other liserations on him as he limped outside, the man following him. Hyde was chained to a pole outside the cabin, were he was forced to spend the night in the cold, "Dumb mutt this oughta teach you" snapped the grumpy man and he slammed the door behind him.
Jekyll kept on his mat, not wanting to upset his master any further. Jekyll knew it was his fault his brother was in the condition he was in, all because he didn't want him hanging around that wolf. Jekyll was tring to protect his brother but instead he got Hyde beaten up. He lay quietly on his mat, he could hear Hyde wimpering softly to himself and soon he lulled himself into a restless sleep.

' It’s a date!' the she-wolf called out to Hyde. But just as she was heading back into the forest a large man came striding out from behind a corner, and a dog was leading the way. Blix squinted and then a flood of emotions swept through her body at once. Shock that it was Jekyll leading the man to where Hyde and her had taken the fish, anger that flesh and blood could do such a thing and frightened, for what was going to happen next.
Blix turned back but didn't leave the cover of the trees. She didn't know what would happen if the man saw her. She stayed low and watched. When the man whipped Hyde Blix had to use all her will power to stay where she was, she couldn't break her cover, with a large man holding a 'weapon'. She growled deep in her throat, but stayed where she was. When the man turned dragging Hyde along, Blix broke from her hiding spot. She stayed a few metres behind, keeping in the shadows, but keeping an eye on her friend. As the man took Hyde into a house, she waited, She heard the male whimper and yelp, but from what she couldn’t tell. After a while the man appeared outside, Hyde limping after him. Why wont he just run, leave the man that hurt him. She thought with distaste as the man tied Hyde to a post outside. Even from the distance between them Blix could smell blood. She growled again and when the man made his way back into the house she crept forward.
'Hyde?' Blix whispered as she approached the bleeding Doberman. She knew it was her friend, but still approached with caution. A beating could turn the most placid dog savage, and she didn't want to be running home injured as well. She sniffed timidly and took another cautious step forward. She approached the dog, when nothing happened she lay beside him. Blix licked the wound around his neck, clearing the blood. 'Come away with Me.' she whispered. She nudged Hyde carefully, hoping not to cause him any pain. ' Come with me and leave this...this pain.' she licked at his wounds again, as they started to bleed freely. She looked back at the door and shivered. This was no place to live.

Hyde lay, motionless, when he heard another approching him he hardly lifted his head to see, he didn't care who it was or what it might do, he figured he was in enough pain and didn't care at that point if he lived or died. The sound of a familiar voice was heard, in a way Hyde was happy that it was Blix but he also had hoped she never saw him in this state. Fatigue vicously defined every muscle in his body. His head pounded like a deranged child was banging a drum in his ear, and he felt as weak as a kitten.
'Come away with Me.'
Hyde thought very hard, making his head hurt even more, "I, I can't leave my brother" Hyde croaked.
' Come with me and leave this...this pain.'
Hyde shook his head as best he could, "Only if Jekyll comes too" he muttered, his throat stung with pain from his neck, he lay shivering in the cold, "My master only did what he thought was best" he wimpered, finding it hard to control his voice.
Jekyll awoke from his sleep, "I'll go see how Hyde's doing" he thought to himself. The man was asleep in his office chair as Jekyll slowly crept to the door, "Locked! Damn!" he cursed and scratched at the door softly hoping Hyde heard and not the man.

' Hyde, you can't believe, that these injuries were made in your best interest.' Blix was shocked that Hyde was defending the man who had done this to him. ' Hyde, you can leave this pain, and i can help.' Blix whispered to the injured Doberman calmly. She started at the scratching at the door. was it the man? No it couldn't be, humans don't scratch at doors. Blix picked herself up off the ground. ' i will be right back.' she said and turned towards the cabin. she walked right up to the door and looked at it. How do you open these things? she thought to herself. She didn't want to disturb the human on the inside but if it was Jekyll scratching at the door she wanted to let him out. Atleast then she could tell him how she really felt. She snorted and looked back at the door. The handle, thats how to open it. she stood back a little and pushed herself up onto her hind legs, front paws touching the door. She fiddled a bit and finnaly moved the handle, opening the door for what ever waited behind.

Jekyll heard the door begin to open, he turned nerviously to the man who was still snoring loudly. Jekyll pushed the door open some more and slipped into the cover of the night. He hardly noticed Blix as he ran to see his brother.
Hyde heard his brother's footsteps getting closer, he said nothing to Jekyll as he felt the doberman nuzzle at his side. "Hyde, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean this to happen, you must believe me" Jekyll wimpered softly. Hyde said nothing, his breathing became faster and a low growl from deep inside broke the silent night. Jekyll moved further away, "Do you forgive me?" he asked sheepishly. Hyde struggled to sit up, he bared his teeth at his brother, but remained silent. Jekyll kept his head lower then Hyde's and licked at his brothers neck where a trickle of blood ran down. Hyde growled again and snapped at his brother, he grabbed Jekyll's ear and viciously threw his head around. Jekyll yelped at the pain and moved further away.
Hyde sat, foam forming in his mouth, "Now I forgive you" he spat and lay back down, his head throbbing with pain. He winced in pain as Jekyll walked back over and nudged at his head as he lay down. The wind howled like a dieing wolf and Jekyll huddled up with his brother. Hyde looked to find Blix, but his neck was hurting even more, he wimpered from the pain as he lay his head back down on the dusty planks.

Blix stood still as the Doberman shot pass her. She silently closed the door by pushing against it with her rump. She stood back and watched as Jekyll confronted his brother, and stayed where she was when Hyde viciously attacked Jekyll's ear. She had no notion in interfearing, atleast it was more pleasant than what she would have done. She growled low, but didn't move.
When Jekyll lay by his brotyher, Blix moved closer. She noticed Hyde trying to look around, and when he whimpered she shot forward and nuzzled his neck. Blix ignored Jekyll and licked at Hyde's wounds. ' I'm here.' she spoke soothingly. She lay down in front of the injured dog her nose touching his. ' i'm here' She whispered again. She closed her eyes and A tear fell, making its way through her dark and light fur.She couldn't bare seeing someone she loved in pain. Yes she only met this dog that day, but already she had fell for him and She didn't want to lose him.Blix whimpered at her own thoughts. She opened her eyes and looked at Hyde, 'come with me.' She said again. looking into Hyde's eyes she mangaged a soft smile. 'please...'

Jekyll looked at Blix as she nuzzled into his brother. He said nothing, and just watched. His ear was torn where Hyde attacked him and blood was begining to run down the side of his face.
'come with me.' ... 'please...'
Jekyll stood, his domanince returning, "No way!" he growled, "Hyde's staying with me" he barked, "Right, Hyde?" he asked a little less conifent. Hyde looked at Blix, he stood shakily, "Jekyll, come with us" he asked his brother in a tired voice, his head swimming. "Not with that - that..." Jekyll stopped and looked at Hyde, "Are you sure?" he asked feeling he had already lost. Hyde nodded, and turned back to Blix, "Got a place to stay near-by?" he asked with a small smile.
Jekyll looked at her with a sulky face, he didn't much care for the wolf but Hyde seemed to and he guessed that if he wanted to keep his brother he'd have to try and get along with Blix.

Blix smiled comforting at Hyde. ' of course. it's just in the forest over there.' She lifted her head and gestured towards the trees. She turned to Jekyll and saw the torn ear, He hadn't put up much of a fight, He must have known he deserved it. She smiled meekly at the dog, she didn;t particularly like him, i mean he tried to run her out of town, and he got Hyde hurt, but she would make an effort for Hyde's sake. ' Well let's untie you then.' she said and with a tug on the rope binding Hyde, it was loose.
Blix picked up the loose rope in her teeth and pulled at it, sliding it over hyde's head. when Hyde was free she dropped the rope and stood next to him. she licked his face and smiled. ' come on we better get going before that man wakes up.' She looked over to jekyll. ' You can help me get him up.' Blix said, not unkind. she wouldn't be taking any crap from Jekyyl out in the forest. That was her territory, and she hoped he understood that.

Jekyll nodded sullenly and helped Hyde. Once Hyde was standing he took a step away from Blix and Jekyll, "I'm not that weak" he said, tring to collect the torn remains of his pride. Jekyll looked at his brother with concern, but said nothing and went on ahead of him, he turned to look back at Blix, "Well then Blix, where is this place?" he asked sourly. Hyde gave Jekyll a threatening cold stare and Jekyll forced a smile. Hyde seemed content with this and walked on, his left foreleg giving him a slight limp.
It was a cold night, and the owls continued on with their night’s scavenging, seeming unfazed by the three canines. Hyde sat down for a rest and waited for Blix to lead the way. His pelt shone in the moons yellow tinge glow. His face lined with silent pain and his flanks heaving with effort, though Hyde never said a word. Jekyll sat further away from Hyde, feeling he might attack him again. His face was distorted into an aggravated expression. His paws overlapped one another as he waited. His amber eyes glowing with detestation, illuminated by the moon as he cast his gaze over to Blix. His ear still wept and crust was beginning to harden the ear. Jekyll gawked around his scenery he rathered his warm blanket to the cold leaf filled ground of the forest. Though the silence still remained. Both Dobermans were not making a noise both with completely different outlooks and both with completely different personalities. Hyde had a felling these differences would someday separate the inseparable pair, and the forest would be the reason why.

"I'm not that weak"
Blix stepped back from Hyde but stayed with-in helping distance if something did go wrong. She shook her coat and satrted out, she noticed that Hyde was limping but did not want to damage his pride anymore then what need-be.
"Well then Blix, where is this place?"
She walked past Jekyll and managed a smile, though it probably looked more like a sneer. ' This way.' She said and started off towards the looming forest.
When Hyde sat down Blix turned quickly and walked towards him. She knew he must be in alot of pain, but he didn't say anything. Blix licked at his now scabbing wounds. She noticed where Jekyll sat and his cold gaze towards her. That dog is not going to survive long out here, she thought to herself, not with malice but just noticing the facts. ' We are nearly there, Hyde. My den is just over there.' Blix gestured towards a cave a few metres awaycovered by a few overhanging trees. She nudged at him and then walked away giving him some space. She started towards her home. Everything leaping out to her like road signs. This was where she belonged. She looked around, and noticed the cool stream that went through her territory. She walked over to it and lapped at the cool water.
Blix lfted her head and looked at Jekyll. ' Stop sulking Jekyll. See that cave over there, go in there and find a place to sleep.' Blix gave a genuine smile. She was back home and nothing could ruin her mood, not even Jekyll. Blix looked over at Hyde. ' Let's get you some sleep, you look exhausted.' She walked back to Hyde and waited for him to get up again.

Jekyll continued on without a word to Blix, just a cold stare as he walked up into her cave and lay down at the back, only the reflection from his glassy eyes could be seen. Hyde gave her a weak smile, he stood and walked over to the stream, dipping his muzzle in the cool water, it felt good. He lapped up some water before slowly walking up to the cave. He front leg gave way but Hyde quickly balanced himself before falling over. He whimpered a little and lay at the mouth of the cave, thankful to be resting his sore leg.
The fresh air was nice to breath in and slowly Hyde slipped into a drowsy sleep. Jekyll found it hard to sleep; the cold hard ground prodded him every time he tried to get comfortable. He stood and stretched; he and Hyde had slept in the forest a few times before they found a home with a fisherman. He had thought Hyde liked the man and felt betrayed by his brother. “We made a packed to stay with the human,” he grumbled to himself, shifting uneasily.

When Hyde stumbled and then lay on the ground, Blix dropped down also. He was asleep almost suddenly. She layed her head on her paws and watched Hyde's breathing. making sure nothing disturbed him why he slept. he would heal, but his brother she wasn't that sure. he had no physical injuries, but he did have something deeper. Blix shuddered, but closed her eyes, She heard Jekyll complain from his spot at the back of the cave but didn't say anything. Blix yawned and fell asleep next to Hyde ready to wake at any moment.
The sun drifted into the cave, the fresh smell of the forest went through Blix's nostrils. She stretched out and stood to her feet. The wolf was back where she belonged in the forest, hopefully Hyde would like it as much. She turned and looked back to where Jekyll lay, asleep, probably the best side of the dog Blix had seen. She looked down at Hyde and smiled. Her stomach growled, She better get some food. But with her poor nose it was close to impossible to track down even a rabbit. She sighed and walked out of the cave into her familiar territory. i guess they would just have to go with out food today. Not the best first impression to make on the two dogs, but what else could she do?

Hyde's eyes fluttered open to see Blix walking off. He stood, with the much needed rest he felt like a new dog. His foreleg still had a dull pain but his head had cleared and his neck felt much better. He looked back to see Jekyll snoring loudly at the back 'Rough night' thought Hyde with a smile and looked up to see the morning sun filter through the trees. He streched and yawned before trotting down to the stream for a drink.
Jekyll opened one eye to see Hyde and Blix had left, he gave a sleepy grunt and stood on stiff legs. His muscles ached as he streched with effort. He walked to the mouth of the cave to see Hyde drinking at the water and Blix wondering around the forest close by. "Hyde!" Jekyll yelled, feeling he must make some sort of effort, though he was never a morning kind of dog, "How you feeling?" he asked. Hyde looked up to see Jekyll standing at the mouth of the cave with a smile on his face. Hyde returned the smile, "Doing well" he replied, "Feel like a new dog. How was your night sleep?". Jekyll wondered down to the stream and took a gulp of water, "Uncomfertable, I'll have to get used to sleeping on hard ground again" he said with a weak smile. Hyde nodded, "Said goodmoring to Blix?" He asked quietly. Jekyll stared back at him, "No" he said through gritted teeth. "Maybe you should" prodded Hyde. He really wanted Blix and Jekyll to get along, so far there was too much tension between the two. Jekyll sighed and walked off to find Blix.
