Kizu walked slowly across the landscape. She has become used to coming here. It seemed to be were the blood red wolf spent most of her free time. Rather than search for comrades, she mourned the ones lost. Rather than laugh about the joys of the present, she wept over her past. Manor Cemetery has become her sanctuary. She hung her head low as the memories of her deceased sibling, Kaze drifted into her mind. Everyone she held dear was now in their grave and all Kizu could do was plot her revenge. Kaze, the only one to show her the love and compassion she desired after her parents' death, was dead. She was murdered for merely believing something and attempting to do what she thought was right. Now she's gone. Kizu was left alone. The thought of her sister's death enraged Kizu. She snarled and thought of her vow for revenge. Kizu would kill anyone affiliated with Kaze's death. That's why the Synl pack was now her enemy. At least, that what she was forced to believe. Kizu's thoughts were quickly interrupted. She raised her head and sniffed the air. Someone or something was approaching. The sent was too faint to tell whether it was friend or foe, but she wouldn't take any chances. Quickly, she prepared to defend herself.

A small dark figure steps forth from the shadows. She seems to limp a little as she approaches. She stops and notices that she has startled someone. The moonlight reveils the tricolor corgi, Roxy. She has just been through a battle earlier in the day. Her bandanna is torn and she has numerous wounds. She sits down and finally speaks. "Is this where the saddened come to weep? I've seen many pass through here today." She doesn't seem to be to familiar with the graveyard. "They seem to lower there heads, and stare down at these stones. I hope I'm not a bother to you"

Kizu let the corgi's scent flow into her nostrils. Roxy didn't have the scent of the Synl pack. The wolf allowed her muscles to relax. "You won't be a bother," she replies. "As a matter of fact, it feels rather awkward having someone here." Kizu turned her head to look at the stranger. "I have a feeling you haven't been to the cemetery before. Tell me, do you have no one to mourn here?"

Roxy looked at Kizu. "No, I havn't been here before, I just ran here because it felt like a safer, quiet place to hide" She layed down. "I had a run-in with these wolves earlier today, they almost got me killed" "But that's all in the past now, I just needed to rest a bit"

Kizu looked at Roxy's wounds. As much as she wanted to ask about if she knew who the wolves were who attacked her, she decided to keep her nose out of other's business. "Rest if you need to. I'll just be here a little longer." Kizu averted her gaze from Roxy and looked down at a near by grave. "Perhaps I'm just going mad, but when you think about it this place really does feel rather safe. It's almost as if this place if separate from the world." Kizu had now become so deep in thought, that she didn't realize she was just rambling on. "My sister always told me that the spirits of ones passed on guarded us. Maybe that belief is making me feel this way." When the wolf finished speaking, she walked over to a nearby plant and picked a small herb. "Here," she spoke while giving it to Roxy. "I heard that these herbs help to stop infection. Try not to get yourself into trouble again."

Rallie the wolf-dog heard commotion near a small clearing in the cemetary."That's strange."she thought. She padded nearer to the noise, almost frightened of the noises comming from deep within the cemetary, where the dead lie.She shook the thought away as she approached the two dogs, one being a small corgi and the other being a wolf. She growled low and stepped out from behind a gravestone, her pelt shining almost ghostlike."Who are you?"she asks, her ears back, but her tone soft.

Kizu gazed upon the new visitor. Hearing the wolf-dog's growl, the muscles quickly tightened, preparing to defend herself. She didn't suspect that Rallie would attack, but if she did Kizu was ready. "My name is Kizu," she said with no fear or aggression in her voice. "We mean no harm. I'm merely visiting those passed and the corgi wishes to rest." Her icy blue eyes looked upon Rallie with no ferocity, but rather with the distrust of a stranger. "I ask you the same question. Who are you?"

Rallie sits down,as though to try and calm the dog.She didn't want them to be scared or mad,and she didn't want to fight, seeing the wounds on the corgi. Her floppy ears perked up,and she lashed her tail again."So I see.I usually roam around here every now and again. And like you,I mean no harm."she said, her fur laying down.
"It's nice to meet you Kizu, and as well as you, small one."Rallie barked, not knowing the name of the small dog."I'm Rallie. And you have no need to distrust or fear me."she said, trying to sound convincing.
But what she said was true, they didn't need to fear or distrust her.She was a helper to any dog that needed it,and the corgi and Kizu looked hungry, and in need of help."Are you hungry?"she asked, then she turned her head to the small sack around her neck, reaching her mouth into it and bringing out a plump rabbit."I don't need it.You two can share it,if you want."she said, then she smiled, still unsure if these dogs would attack.

The wolf allowed herself to relax. Giving Rallie a warm smile, she nodded to accept the rabbit. Her scent told her that she didn't live with a pack. That was good.
Remain that way, Kizu thought to herself. It would be a shame to have the blood of such a kind being on my claws.
After taking her share of the rabbit, she gave Roxy a large portion of the meal. "Rallie," Kizu said in an attempt to strike up conversation. "If you don't mind me asking, have you someone to mourn here? You said that you came here every so often and I wish to know if there is one more soul I shall pray for. Pardon my curiosity."
It has been a while since Kizu has spoken to someone in a relaxed setting. She enjoyed it. Despite this, she knew that she could not grow accustomed to it. Her lifestyle was a dangerous one. She didn't want anyone to befriend her and be hurt because of it. The assassin's life was a lonely one and sometimes, she wished that it could be otherwise.

Rallie returned Kizu's smile, then she sat down. After Kizu had ate her share of the prey rabbit, she asked Rallie if she has 'someone to mourn'.Rallie thought about this for a moment before she sighed."I live here..well..on some nights, atleast."she said atlast.
Her ears twitched once, and she lashed her tail three or four times. Then she got a saddened look in her eye,and lowered her head."Kizu...I have no one to lose.."she said, then she lifted her head."I've always been alone."

As Rallie made her comment, Kizu's felt a deepened sympathy for the wolf. Just by looking into Rallie's eyes, she could see great pain and suffering.
"You're alone," Kizu said softly to Rallie. "I guess we have that in common. Both of us roam this world with no one by our sides. At least, Rallie, you have the chance to change that. The path I walk is that of a loner. If you are as wise as I expect you to be, you will not do the same."
In her attempt to comfort Rallie, Kizu began to hurt herself in the process.
"Consider yourself fortunate. You say that you have no one loose. You see that as a painful truth, where as I would consider it a blessing. I can't help but envy you." Kizu looked to the moonlit sky as old wounds reopened.
"You have no one to loose," she repeated once again. "Where I have already lost it all."

Rallie sighed, then she listened to Kizu. After she had made her statement,Rallie felt sad for Kizu. She was alone as well.At first,Rallie thought that Kizu was traveling with the corgi, but know she knew truth.
She felt bad for Kizu."Do not envy me.And I'm sorry that you live the life of a loner."not finding much else to say,Rallie sighed and looked up at the moon. Her soft fur moved easily in the wind, and she swished her tail and wrapped it around her paws. Then she looked at Kizu.
"You could tell me your story..if you want.I'll listen."she said, offering Kizu a chance to voice her past.

With pained eyes, Kizu looked at Rallie. Should she tell her of her past? Yes, it was best if she knew.
"Rallie," the blood red wolf began. "I tell you the story of my past so you do not make the same mistakes as I did. Promise me that when you do loose someone you love, you won't make the same choice." Once she received her response from Rallie, she began.
"It was a few years ago, back in the days of my youth. I lived happily with my older sister, Kaze. It was merely her and I together. There was no one else. My parents died when I was too little to remember. All I know was that Kaze was there and that's all I ever cared about. You see, back then I believed that she was possibly the greatest part of my life. How was a to know that she would soon become a distant memory?"
"Kaze was a beautiful wolf, with great ideas of peace. The war between Sallin and Synl saddened her. She wanted the battles to stop and the two to become one again. Often times, she would speak her mind as she visited the pack lands. As she did this, many wolves and dogs agreed with her ideas and attempted to assist her, but she also gained many enemies."
"Her ideas and her dreams of peace are what lead to her death. I was a bit older then. After returning from my hunt, I found her there. I won't begin to describe to you the lifeless body on the ground. All I knew was that she had been murdered and that she was gone forever."
"For many days I mourned her. For many days I didn't eat or drink because of my depression. I just sat by her side, praying for a miracle. Then, one came in the form of a Sallin wolf. He spoke to me in a soft yet serious tone. The wolf said that he witnessed my sister's death and saw her killers. I listened to his story, for it was the only one I could believe. He claimed that a group of dogs from the Synl pack have become angry with her words of peace. They murdered her for merely believing in something. On that day, I swore my revenge."
"I swore that those heartless beast would pay for what they did!" Kizu's voice now became angered and painful. "I swore that my sister's life would be avenged! An eye for an eye. Equivalent exchange. What ever you want to call it! I will not rest until I see the Synl pack dead!"
Now staring at her paws, Kizu fought back the ghosts of her past. "You mustn't become like me, Rallie. The path I walk is that of a killer and because of that I walk alone. If you ever become close to somebody and this happens to you, be the better person. Don't make my mistake. Now I must separate myself from others, for those who wish revenge for the dogs I've killed will soon come for me. That is why," Kizu paused to stop her tears. "That is why I must remain alone."

Rallie felt saddened by Kizu's story, but it was better than her own.Rallie looked up at Kizu, and she sighed."Do not envy me.I'd say you have the upper hand."she paused."In my old pack,I served Taki and Roma,my alphas, with no questions asked. The rank I was assigned to was hunter, which,in our pack, meant assasin.I killed without even thinking, and I felt no remorse.I'm a cold, heartless killer.Lusts for blood come occasionally, and I can't control myself.I even killed my own mate, all becuase my alpha told me to do so.I kill.I'm a murderer."she said, then she got this crazed look in her eyes and her claws unsehathed as her fur started to bristle.

It never came to Kizu's mind that Rallie might be a killer. Most wolves would run in fear or growl with disgust. Kizu did not. She knew what it was like to kill without remorse. Still, the crazed gleam in Rallie's eyes forced Kizu to stand and prepare for the worst.
She remembered Rallie's words. "Lusts for blood come occasionally, and I can't control myself." Could this be one of those times now? There was nothing that she could do at the moment, so all Kizu could do was watch and wait.
