///Januet\\\ Oh the possibilities this new land opened up! Packmates, now that's a new idea! The Synl world seemed different from Januet's normal life, almost ethereal. Exploration was the day's event, and the German Shepard was wasting no time acquainting herself with the Synl world. The huge trees blotted large areas of the sky out, leaving some areas in darkness and others with light. Paws treading gently across the ground, a breeze blew through the air, pleasantly cooling off the female. It had been some time since anything good had happened to her. Her human friends... probably dead by this point. It didn't seem fair that they had to live such horrible lives, nor that even their only companions had become burdens. The poverty they dealt with daily was awful, and Januet couldn't stand to think about it. Even after her family had left their humans, their luck got no better. Everything fell apart, there was no food and no shelter for any of them to find. Eventually, Januet had to leave a family for the second time. Her human friends... and now her family... the loneliness filled her soul to the brim. Finally though, a bit of good news. To be accepted into Synl! What should she do first? The need for friendships was overwhelming, not to mention the need to feel needed in a relationship. Januet wanted just two things. A companion and to help her new pack. Her new family.

Drimme padded along the new territory. I had been quite some time since she had been ables to call someplace home, and it felt very comforting.
Sniffing about something caught her eye. A leaf!! Being a playful beast she decided a game wouldn't do her any harm. Watching it closely Drimme crouched down as if it were live prey. Just as the wind picked up she pounced missing the leaf in front of her and landing hard on the ground with a large OOF!
Looking up still lying unorthodoxly on the ground she noticed she was not alone. Above her stood another dog. Hope your from Synl, she though giving an innocent grin. She certainly didn't want to be on anyone's bad side. She had only just gotten here.
"Errr...hello," she muttered picking herself up and shaking off some dirt. Hopefully it was not too late to make a good impression on this fellow dog."Uhh...my names Drimme." she added disguising her curiosity well. It was no time to go probing into other's business before they even knew you.

Januet watched as another dog came leaping through the air, chasing after a leaf. She smiled at the dog, happy to see such playfulness and joy in another. As the female continued her game, she tried to catch the leaf but instead landed face first on the ground right in front of her. The German Shepard tried to stifle a giggle, but failed horribly. This light brown dog was obviously a care-free and nice being.
"Errr...hello. Uhh...my names Drimme," she said. As Drimme stood up, Januet noticed she was taller than herself, not something she was used to. Most other German Shepards were much smaller than herself, so to be suddenly smaller than another dog... it was surprising to have happened.
She didn't show her surprise though. Instead, she smiled back and said in a friendly tone, "Hello there Drimme, having fun are you? Well, it's nice to meet you. I'm Januet." Drimme was the first dog she's met in Synl since being accepted. She wondered how this meeting would continue, since its interesting beginning.

"Hello there Drimme, having fun are you? Well, it's nice to meet you. I'm Januet." The dog answered after a quick giggle at Drimme's antics. Drimme gave an embarrassed grin but laughed little too. She grinned as best she could and gave a little nod.
"Well, hello Januet. Glad to have met a friendly dog around here." Drimme wagged her tail happily. "Sorry for landing in your way." She gave a little chuckle,"May I should be practicing on real prey huh? Well I'm just out to patrol borders a bit. I need to get used to this territory now that I'm here. Are you willing to join me?" Drimme pointed her snout in the direction of the border. Curiosity burned in her for she wanted to know every last bit of her current home. She certainly wouldn't mind some company in this new place.

Drimme giggled and smiled embarrassedly, stating "Well, hello Januet. Glad to have met a friendly dog around here."
"Likewise Drimme. You're the first one I've met here since I first joined Synl, and I'm quite glad for the company," she replied. It was true, it seemed difficult to meet many folks around this pack for some reason. It was confusing, after all Synl was supposed to be a fairly organized and active pack. Perhaps everyone was somewhere else and Januet just didn't know about it. Sure it was possible... but Drimme was still talking so she changed her attention back to her.
"Sorry for landing in your way. Maybe I should be practicing on real prey huh? Well I'm just out to patrol borders a bit. I need to get used to this territory now that I'm here. Are you willing to join me?"
Januet smiled widely. Willing? Of course she was willing! It had been a long time since anyone had asked the female to do something with her. This was exciting, already she was about to make a friend! Januet's face only showed happiness as she replied, "I'd be glad to accompany you Drimme. That's actually what I was doing, getting used to the territory." The blue German Shepard began to walk in the direction her companion had pointed, taking in all the sights and sounds of a new home. This truly was a beautiful place, she was glad to have chosen this as a new home. "Amazing..." she said in a half whisper.
As she walked, she turned to Drimme and asked, "So Drimme, how long have you been apart of Synl? Perhaps not for very long, if you're trying to get used to the pack lands?"
OOC///I'm really sorry for being so inactive. ;_; I'll be better about it now.

OOC: it's ok sorry I wasn't on for a while
Drimme grinned at the enthusiasm of the dog beside her. Matching her pace she turned to the blue shepard.
"Well, I haven't been a member for very long at all. You're the first dog I've met. That's a little strange seeing as there are so many members in this pack." She looked around her at the beautiful woods around them. So this was what it was like to be truly free. Even though she felt great joy rising in her, Drimme felt a pang of sadness deep down. She had at one point truelly caring owners and still in the back of her mind longer for the comfort of her old home. Even though these thoughts troubled her she did not let it show. Drimme always put on a happy face which she thought suited her just fine.
Addressing Januet she returned back to the present. "So Januet, what do you think of this pack. I've heard so many good things about it."

"Well, I haven't been a member for very long at all. You're the first dog I've met. That's a little strange seeing as there are so many members in this pack."
Januet nodded in agreement. She was glad for this companionship, especially if it was as Drimme said. Perhaps all the other members were elsewhere? Somewhere Januet didn't know about yet? It didn't matter though, she had found her own acquaintance to be with for the moment. A wind blew through the trees, making some of the golden and orange hued leaves fall from the sky and onto the path she was treading on. They crunched beneath her paws, and Januet smiled at Drimme inviting her to more conversation. It was enjoyable to talk to someone after so long being alone.
"So Januet, what do you think of this pack. I've heard so many good things about it."
"What do I think?" she repeated. "Well, I think this is a wonderful pack and a fantastic place to spend my life. It seems very welcoming, especially since they accepted me without knowing practically anything about me." It was a good thing they were so open. Januet wasn't sure she could have gone much longer on her own, without the aid of another in hunts.
"Why did you come to Synl Drimme? I can tell you my story if you'd like, but I think I won't be quite as interesting."

Drimme pondered the question for a few moments before answering. "Well, I think it would only be polite if I told you my story in turn for yours." She smiled,"It's only fair."
Drimme began her story calmly "I was looking for a place to belong. I hate being alone above all things. I've never really been in a forest until recently. You see, when I was younger I lived on the streets of a large city for my first few months with my siblings. One day people caught us and took us to this cold dark place. That's where we stayed for what seemed like an eternity. Everyday little humans would come and look at us look at their parents with pleading eyes. None of us really knew what it meant until one day Two little humans took my two sisters away...." Drimme paused momentarily sighing.
"They were taking us away to become pets. Soon it was just me and my brother Frost. He got away. He promised he'd come get me, but I never say him again. We were really close." Her tail drooped slightly as she mentioned her brother. "I was later adopted by a family of humans like my other siblings. They were nice to me and I was content...I guess. The whole time I was with them I never felt like I fit in or anything. I missed my siblings dreadfully, and it was really eating away at me that I hadn't tried to find them. That is until one day. My people were moving to a new home beyond this forest. As we were taking a break I caught a familiar scent. It was Frost. I knew he had to be in this forest somewhere so I left my humans to find him."
Drimme's tone had become more upbeat. " I haven't found him yet but I'm sure I will one day. Having a pack where I can be free to roam has done wonders in the short time I've been here. When I find my brother I will bring him to this pack and we can be friends again like old times." Her story completed She turned to Januet.
"Well, there you have it. That's my life thus far. Now let's hear about you."

Januet listened closely to Drimme's tale of her life. It wasn't often that dogs opened up their hearts like this, and Januet wanted to give her the proper attention such an act deserved. She nodded at the appropriate times as her story lulled, and was surprised at some of the things she had been through, even at her young age. It was difficult though as she found her attention was being constantly dragged away by the fact that she had to look up to listen to her companion. It truly was a strange and unknown feeling to her, and it was very distracting.
"Well, there you have it. That's my life thus far. Now let's hear about you."
So it was her turn now huh? Januet stopped walking, as she realized they had been moving throughout her entire story. She sat down and made herself comfortable, cleared her throat, and began speaking.
"Here's my story too. I was born into a family, with human owners already. To make a long story short, life was hard for them. My family could tell the humans were poor, but they still loved us despite everything. It always made me sad to see them practically starving, sometimes going without food just so that we wouldn't have to."
"And then one day, the food stopped. Our human owners, who we had been faithful to our entire lives, ignored our existence entirely. We stayed with them for a bit, but it soon became apparent that they were not going to be able to be with us anymore. So sadly, my family left the human village to strike out into the wild. We didn't know the first thing about life outside of the village though, and we pretty quickly got separated. So now I'm alone."
"But now I've been accepted here. I couldn't handle life alone anyway, so to be able to join Synl is a godsend to me."
Januet looked idly up at the tree's orange and gold leaves. "And that's my story so far Drimme. Like I said, not too interesting. And if you ask me..." She yawned before continuing, "I'd rather sit for a moment and just relax. If you don't mind that is."
