He was willing to learn and a good listener, but he needed someone to teach him. He did know that he was fast on his feet and had the endurance on his breed, as did all shepherds. He had made up hid mind by coming here and he was ready to make himself of use. He was uncertain how to do so, but he was sure he needed to talk with the alphas. Maybe they would know someone that could help him with his dilemma. You see, he wanted to be a messenger. He was fast, and loved to race and run. It fitted him perfectly, but because he had not been in Synl long, he did not know who to go to or who to talk with about becoming an apprentice. Luke was a herding breed, and without something to do, he was quickly growing bored with the idea of just sitting around and relaxing.
The wolf looked at the world that now was his home. He lived in a cooler pack, perfect for someone with thick and protective fur as he had. He was keen to his environment and made sure that he did not miss anything that could be crucial to finding the alphas. That was the other problem. Luke had been accepted into the pack, but he had no clue where the alphas could be. All he knew was there names. "Kahvie and Sonny" He told himself over and over again until it finally stuck in his mind. He would prefer not to have to howl like a wolf, for that was something he would not be able to do.
Instead, he followed his nose. He was an expert tracks. His parents had been good at it, and he himself had been good at when he was back with them. He knew the alpha's smell, it was strong through the pack. He had lost the trail where it had been weaker, but he still followed it. His nose did not lie and he soon stopped to take a break. he muscules in his neck where stiff from having been in the same posture for the last four hours. Luke decided to take a break and wait for a few minutes.
