((Just an explanaion, I started this thread and the long ago previous Sonny replied. It so old now, that I though I would begin again now that there's a new player)
*Prancing with high paws, a small dog hummed her way through the woods. Her eyes were closed in concentration, so it didn't bother her that her large ear was flopped over her eye. Her clurled tail held high, Paradigh smiled ear to ear. This is the way she always was. Her pendant tinkled to the beat at which she walked. Music was a great part of her life. Not only did it sooth her ever loving soul, but it was to her almost a religious expierence...today the world was hers!*
*Paradigh was by no means unhappy with her old home. She loved the humans, for thier love and thier entertainment value. But early this morning she had woken up with a calling in her soul. So she got herself up, and followed where the song led her. It must have been strange seeing such a small dog making it's way through the wilds, but the grey mutt could smell dogs....somewhere! Paradigh was no spring chicken, so she hoped that her little black nose wasnt playing a trick on her!*
Oh?
*The little mutt stopped in her tracks, black tipped ear perking forward....was that voices? Paradigh grunted with frustration when she realized her wieghed down ear was once again in her eye. With a poof, she blew it back to the side of her head. Her golden eyes furrowed in concentration*
Now I coulda sworn...

(OK!! I'll get to this Asap...)
A small snuffle came from the deep autumn woods of Synl. A young Borzoi stalked around, his nose running. He closed his eyes a moment before letting out a little shake, tossing his hair about. Beav blinked, looking up as he heard the music of a pendant. He flicked his big ears and took a few cautious steps forward. Who could that be?
He looked around a tree to see a pretty grey dog. He cocked his head in curiousity, not recognizing her at once. He flinched when he saw her gaze turn towards him. Caught!
"Er..."
He spoke up, then lept into view, looking closely at the female.
"Who are you?"
(I'm such a newb...I'm scared out of my head that I'm doing this completly wrong...)

((HAHA! NO worries, dear, no worries! You did just fine!))
*Paradigh took the chance to thank God that she really did see something, and that her eyes weren't failing her. She KNEW she saw something! And there is was. Of all the things the little dog was planning on seeing in the deep woods, a fellow dog wasn't one of them. Her curled tail was wagging madly, then he literaly lept out of the bushes*
Oh ho!
*The old woman chuckled. Excitable young fella! Without a fear in the world for this gangly dogs in the distance, stiffly, she began walking towards him, eyes alight*
Well, hey thar, sonny! I'm Paradigh. Sorry if I startled ya or sumtin, I mean nothin' by being here. Just felt like a walk, and well muh paws alead me here. And who may you...oh!
*By the time the sweet old woman had finished speaking, she was right in front of the hound, almost bumping into him. Upon looking up, Paradigh found out the true size of this Borzio. Only being the size of a mini shnuazer herself, well, this fella was tall! Gigantic ears fell back as she sat down, chin up in the air in order to look all the way up at him.*
My goodness! Ain't YOU a big fella!
((Short, but sweet. And note, she doesn't know you. Sonny is a term of endurment.))

(But Sonny doesn't know that! I'm semi-glad I have a cold myself...it'll help me with RPing Beav with one!)
Sonny took a few steps back, his yes wide. Just who was this dog? The old one certainly knew his name...apparently, but why was she asking? He shook his head and leaned down to her, trying not to be too tall in the prescense of such a ...small dog.
"Well, look, Ms...er, Paradigh...I'm not exactly startled, just--"
He let out a loud sneeze and shuddered, closing his eyes. He frowned deeper, but then tried to smile, though for some reason, he made a funny noise when he did. He continued, his stuffed nose making his words sound awkward.
"Adyway...y-you dow ady cure for da flu...?"

*One scruffy eyebrow lifted as she cocked her head. How strange this big fella was acting! Usualy, when on walks in the woods with her old owner, the wild creatures were bitter, territorial, and honestly, did not seem very bright. But this fella...he seemed reletivly friendly, if not acting a little wierd. As he lowered his head, the old woman got to relax her neck. Paradigh listened intently as the gangly dog spoke his case. Flicking her large ears in a friendly manner, and smiled softly. As the borzio was about to elaborate on how he felt, he errupted in a surprising spew of wind and snot. With a little, surprised yelp, Paradigh was nearly blown back. Scrambling to her feet, the old dog shook vigorously, sending her wieghed down ear flying madly. Well! That was unexpected!*
*When she looked up again, the hound attempted a pathetic, and somewhat gruesome smile. When again her new friend spoke, it was nasly and drippy. Well! THAT explained it! The dog was sick. With a sympathetic tail wag, she clucked her tongue*
Well, ya poor dear! Ya down with da sniffles? Well, lemme help ya.
*Gently, she nuzzled his...leg...ok, give her a break, it's the only thing she could reach at the time. Finally, the old, festering maternal instinct got to come out. Paradigh had always been viewed by her fellow canines as an oddball, and consequently, usualy shunned. Now, the old lady had a cute little baby to take care of. Eyes filled with loving gentleness looked up at Beav, and then, around the area*
Well, sonny boy, the first thing we need ta do is get ya home. Layin'down an' keepin' warm is important, ya know. An' the fall makes it even more chilly...especialy the...oh dear...
*Ears plopped back sadly as her cloudy eyes looked at the sky. It wasn't dark, but the sky and all it's surroundings were tainted in gold, a sure sign of evening...my, how long has she been walking? Begining in Hallow this morning, and now...Lord knew where! Licking her fuzzt lips, she looked back to Beaver, now concerned.*
Well sweetie, I don't even know where ya live, or even your name, but it's shore a whole lot later than I thought. I'm...eh...gunna need a place to hole up for the night. How 'bout I take care of ya, and you show me a nice, safe, warm place to hang my head?

Beav brightened almost at once. Yes! Someone that didn't want to hang out in this damp, chilly air! He sighed in relief, accepting the bargian with a nod instead of any nasly, half-spoken reply. He flicked his tail, wagging it slightly as the elderly old once-mother rubbed against his leg. Though a little uncomfortable, it reminded him of tales of a chuhuahua that adopted a great dane. He took a step back and smiled a little more warmly at her now, jutting his head towards the autumn-colored thickets. After clearing his throat and sniffing hard, he spoke clearer.
"There oughta be a little root-cave just around the corner here."
