Anna had been here longer than she could remember, maybe not as long as the Alphas, or had she? Had she just been in this territory and they had come? Or had she joined the pack so long ago she couldn't remember? Maybe she had been part of the almost mythical Raknu? The corgi didn't know, or couldn't remember, everything was just a blur to her. She laid out, stretched almost flat on her stomach, her legs out in front and back and her head down.
The greeter almost looked dead, but more importantly, she looked almost like she was thousands of miles away, perhaps this existential thinking thing wasn't for her. She sighed, and licked her nose. Looking up at the autumn sky with a huffing sound.
She needed excitement, something new! What had happened to her? Anna frowned, she used to be so adventurous, life never got this slow. She grumbled, and pulled herself to her feet, obviously she didn't exactly stand tall, but she did stand with reason and with purpose.
With a reedy, corgi voice Anna howled, announcing herself to the Alphas and to her packmates. She couldn't hunt...but she could steal...and that's exactly what she intended to do. For the good of the pack, and for the most part, kicks.

Katt perked her ears to the sound of a howl, she quickly ran over. Her blue eyes spotted the source, luckily she wasn't that far from her. Was that Anna? She wasn't sure, she'd never actually talked to her before. But she had learned who had ranks and whoever didn't came and went as they please. Katt wasn't like that, she stayed even without a rank, but hopefully soon she would obtain the messenger rank.
Anna was a greeter, so if she was howling, there was a chance that there was a Sallin wolf near by. But they were no where near Sallin's borders. She began to stop so she could talk to her. "What's going on?" she asked.

The corgi looked at Katt casually, as stretched, and then sighed. "There isn't any food here, the pack can't hunt." Anna grumbled. "I am leaving for Hallow...hopefully I can find something in the human village to bring back here." Her words were harsh, but honest, the greeter wouldn't beat around the bush when it came to Synl or how she felt.
A large grin passed her foxy face as she thought about the thrill again and she winked at the younger dog. "If you see the alphas, tell them I'll be back..." She doubted that either Sonny or Kahvie would heed her call, so she might as well leave a message to Katt if she managed to run into them.

"There isn't any food here, the pack can't hunt." Anna grumbled, "I am leaving for Hallow...hopefully I can find something in the human village to bring back here." Slight excitement came to her, she hadn't ever been on a raid, or a trip to the hallow. Maybe this would be her chance. It always sounded exciting. But what will the alphas think?
"If you see the alphas, tell them I'll be back..." she said. Katt knew she wanted to be an official messenger, but that didn't mean that she had to stay behind during the raids and tell the alphas what they're up to. Then the same question popped up, what will the alphas think if they both left without saying a word? They might get in trouble, then again, many dogs tend to come and go without muttering a goodbye. "Can't I come?" she asked, tilting her head. "Maybe we could find the alphas before we go. . ." She knew she was sounding childish, but she hadn't really done much in her life in Synl. Deep down she was begging for something new to happen. It'd be better than sitting alone every night working for a pack in which most of the other canines don't even know your name. . .

"Can't I come?" she asked, tilting her head. "Maybe we could find the alphas before we go. . ."
Anna looked at the young female with a bit of speculation, her head tilting to the side as she looked over her. "Well...I suppose. Aren't you messenger?" the corgi almost wondered if she had considered Katt the wrong dog, she had been wrong before, but then again, it didn't seem to bother much if she wanted to tag along.
"I mean, have you ever raided a village before? Its hard work, lots of dogs on guard, and humans and their damn guns. Its dangerous." She wanted to make sure Katt understood the severity of the situation before she decided to go. Last thing she wanted to explain to Kahvie or Sonny was that she had gotten some young pack member maimed.
She just really hated being responsible for that sort of crap. "We'll keep an eye out for the alphas before we go...maybe they'll be interested in coming with." she knew well enough Kahvie was a scrappy young bitch, she hated to steal, but she loved a bit of action...so, what would be the harm in letting them know? An extra set of eyes and ears were always welcomed.
((sorry it took me so long to respond! I think my school schedule has finally mellowed out some))

((It's ok, I'm the one to be sorry, was I really gone about a month? D: *is slapped* It's ok I guess, I've been having some rough time...))
"Well...I suppose. Aren't you messenger?" Katt was close to letting herself shuffle her feet in agreement, but she didn't want to look like a pup. Anna seemed to pause.
"I mean, have you ever raided a village before? Its hard work, lots of dogs on guard, and humans and their damn guns. Its dangerous." Anna reminded her that it wasn't an easy little trip to the hallow. Even though Katt partly just wanted to see what the hallow looked like, but then again, she was fast, if something were to go wrong, she'd be able to run back and call for help.
"We'll keep an eye out for the alphas before we go...maybe they'll be interested in coming with." Katt couldn't help but smile, the thought of Sonny and Kahvie raiding seemed silly to her. But she wasn't laughing at them, it's just that Kahvie seemed to have a conflict against right and wrong... and Sonny would seem to be the one to joke about the whole thing. "Great!" she knew she had to say something.

"Well if you think you can take the pressure, than I suppose I can't say no." The dwarf dog nodded, her large ears swiveling comically as she talked, "I'll make one more howl to see if anyone else is interested, then we'll go...I mean there's no need in bringing half the pack with us, we'll get caught too soon, but 3-4 dogs in a thieving party would be ideal, two to steal, two to keep look out." Anna had an issue inner monologuing, her thoughts often went straight to mouth to muzzle.
That was probably why and how the corgi was so honest, sometimes cruelly so.
She tipped her head back one more time letting loose that reedy dog howl of hers, obviously she was no wolf, but it got the communication across.
"Lets go." without even a second thought, Anna was off, remarkably fast for her stubby legs.

Katt nodded, unable to feel as though Anna was explaining just a trance too much. She would never complain, and admitted to herself that she had never been on a raid, so Anna was only being sensible.
Anna howled and no one replied. Katt waited for someone to reply and without much hesitation she whirled around and began to run. Taken by surprise the smaller dog was ahead of her, but not for long. Katt's longer legs and her father's husky blood made it easy to keep up, but hard not to get ahead of her. Not that she was trying to go as fast as she could, it's just that she was used to running by herself and going as fast as she could. Katt didn't want to show off, and was rather concerned that she appeared to be doing so. Besides, what could she gain from being in the lead? Katt had never been to the hallow, how would she know where it was?
