Akim's black fur waved in the wind as she continued on her search. The scent of the Arnlan pack was strong now, they must be close. She quickened her pace a bit, but not much. She didn't want to waist her energy trying to find them and be to weak to fight if her welcome wasn't a warm one.
Catching the scent of a rabbit, Akim decieded to make a short side stop to hunt before she went on. In moments, she'd caught her prey, killed it, and scarfed it down. She knew she must eat, but she also mustn't waist time. Content enough for now, she started on her quest again to find the Arnaln pack.

Karolek wasn't pleased. He had found the remains of a dead rabbit, pilfered from Arnlan lands. Following the scent of the wolf that had eaten the deceased rodent, he quickly came upon Akim. Growling furiously, the sound was a low, steady rumble. His black form leaped over her head, landing in front of her and pivoting around as his first paw touched the ground, so that when the flurry of motion had ceased, he stood in front of her—towering over her, clearly displeased. His hot anger cooled into an icy one, and while his eyes were hidden by the fur falling over them, it was also obvious that he was giving her the equivalent of a glare. When he spoke, his voice was just as low as his growl and laced with his displeasure. "Who are you, that you would steal game from Arnlan?! Speak!"

The sudden appearance of the male startled Akim, and she stopped dead in her tracks. By his scent, she could easily tell that this was the alfa of the Arnlan pack. "Who are you, that you would steal game from Arnlan?! Speak!" Akim realized that she had made a grave mistake in her feeding on this land, but she did not let her regret show on her face. Instead, she bowed humbly and said, "Forgive me sir, it was foolish." Her chances of being accepted had been cut down immensely, and she knew it. She rose and continued. "I would be more than happy to work to repay the loss. My name is Akim, and I have been seeking you for many days, for I wish to be accepted into Arnlan. I follow orders with out question and work hard to complete them. I think you will find me a good asset to the pack, if you would allow it."

Stalking around her, he strode in a wide circle—observing her from all angles. She seemed healthy enough, and she hadn't quivered in fear like that other wolf had been forced to deal with earlier that day. Stopping smoothly in front of her, he let the silence stretch on while he considered her offer. She could be of some use, but she would have to prove her worth or she would be demoted. And if she then continued to disappoint him, she'd be thrown in the ditch with the rest of the slaves. Snorting gruffly, he reluctantly gave a short nod of his head. "Fine—you may enter to the mainland as a member. But if you ever break a rule or disobey an order, you will be punished severly. Once you enter, you may never leave unless under orders from I or my sister. Am I understood?"
(( I'm a little reluctant to accept you because your posts are so short—as you can see, I was forced into short replies as well because I didn't have anything to work with. Please try to improve upon your roleplay—add details about how your character thinks and feels, and details about the surroundings and time of day and how they affect the characters. It is too difficult for me to try to think of replies to such short paragraphs. ))

Akim stood still as the alpha circled her slowly, watching him only with her eyes. It was impossible to tell what he was thinking with his fur covering his eyes and the rest of his face expressionless. She kept her face the same as well, not letting any emotion leak to the surface. This had been her normal state of being for as long as she remembered. Emotion held no place in her world.
A breeze floated through her fur, accententing her toned muscles, and she hoped that the alpha would notice this. Her strength was one of her greatest assets and one of her greatest prides. "Fine--you may enter the mainland as a member. A small, proud smile danced at the edge of her mouth before quickly dissapearing. He seemed hesitant to accepter, but it didn't phase her. This response was one she was used to, but she knew that she could prove to him that he had made the right decission. She would not allow him to be dissapointed.
"I understand," she said, again slightly bowing her head in respect. After he gave leave, she strode off to see the other members of the pack she would be living with. She wasn't so much interested in making 'friends' as she was getting to know the other wolves so she could know who she had to compete with. In short, life to her was a great competion, one she must win in order to survive. She had no intention of falling behind in the game because she was knew. She would work as hard as she could to make it to the top, and stay there. It was all she lived for, what she had been raised to do. In her mind, there was no other way of life.
((OOC-I tried to extend it, like you said, and will continue to do so in the future. Is this a little more like you wanted?))
