Those who do not participate in the pack meeting will not be ranked. If you cannot participate for whatever reason, please inform me.
Slaves will be escorted by Hallowed, all slaves must post after John, please and thank you.
------------------------
The temperature had dropped considerably in the last few days, the wind now battered everything in its path, chilling the atmosphere. This suited Nightshade, Sallin was known for its heartless members or cold hearted, what better way to portray just that. On the horizon, the sun would soon be setting, the end of another day, the bleakest time of the day, this to was to her liking. She walked slowly, her stride was cat like and her eyes narrowed at the coming darkness, already the shadows grew, stretching its dark claws to grip at Sallin. This suited her as well, soon all of Sallin's wretched souls would be united, she could not have chosen a more perfect day, all this suited her and of this she could not be more proud.
The trees started parting and now she smiled at what was soon to come. Sallin's status needed to be discussed, enemies needed to be singled out, but more importantly, those who were loyal would be rewarded, she almost laughed at the thought. She stopped at the edge of the trees, looking around the immense clearing before her, in its middle the soft earth was abruptly stopped by a flat rock, impossible for the grass and weeds to cling to it. Its surface was polished black and just as during the day it held all its heat, enough to scorch your paws, during the night it turned so cold that it send shivers down your spine. She smiled bleakly.
She headed swiftly and silently to the flat rock in the middle of the clearing. Nightshade's fur prickled in excitement for what was to come, yes this would be the most interesting night. In the horizon the sun sunk lower, soon it would be night, she couldn't wait any longer.
She paused and straightened herself, her tail flicked behind her. She inhaled deeply and grinned at the darkness then she slowly lifted her head sending the call. A low eerie howl that would send shivers down any wolf's spine. She held the note perfectly for a minute, then led it fade with the wind. Soon they would arrive.
Her eagerness could wait, she slumped down to a sit, her shin still held high and her stance showing authority, but a bit more relaxed. Her ears where high and alert to the sound of her pack, they would come soon enough.
She stifled a yawn then chuckled softly. Yes, soon they would all be here, just a matter of time.

The howl fluttered through the breeze and tickled the ears of the busy Shade's-Reply, the dark black and green male shuddered, cocking his head to the side before smirking. It appeared the Alpha was calling, and who was he to not heed the call?
He dropped everything, taking a few steps before pausing, and grabbing a bone, for some reason he didn't want to leave that particular object behind, perhaps it was auspicious?
He moved with no haste to Nightshade's call, but then again, he wasn't exactly expected to be there first..that was position that was best held by her cabinet of warriors, her advisors, and her mate...not a lowly Priest.
Though here he was, first to come, and the odd wolf sniffed, giving a polite bow to the Alpha. "My Lady, you called." his voice was polite and clean, he smiled kindly and took a seat.

Cohen lifted his head as Nightshade's howl reached his sensitive ears. The manic wolf smiled and laughed and glanced around his secretive den. The leg he had taken from Damian still lay in the corner, almost gnawed down to the bone. No doubt the Queen would be interested in news of the Guardian.
The Sentry walked leisurely towards the location, grinning as he went.
As he arrived, he observed that Nightshade was present, as was the priest. He bowed his head slightly, eyes widening ever so slightly.
"You called my Queen, so I have come."

Xai eyed cautiously the mice bouncing away in the distance. They barely noticed as the Warrior crept silently forward. Yes, she would have them soon enough. Just when she was about to leap at the closet mouse a familiar howl broke the silence. her head jerked up and the mice scuttled away to safety.
The Queen was calling.
She cackled silently to herself and rushed towards the sound. She scrambled away towards the sound, noiselessly. Her mind soon identified where the sound was coming from, a clearing.
Yes, that was it. She stopped at the shadows, the edge of the clearing, her eyes flitting nervously as she decided to draw closer. Even so she stopped in front of Nightshade and gave a low bow.
-"Lady Nightshade" she simply said as a greeting and acknowledgment.

Ooc; Just a note, this is both Bear’s and Hal’s RP post. –doesn’t feel like making them separate-
Idle mind is the devil’s plaything
The words played across his mind, well known, but completely untrue in Hallowed’s case. In the last hour and a half that he had been sitting in the same spot, nothing evil, sinister, or relatively mischievous had happened. Just sitting and watching. Despite his new position as Warden, nothing new or exciting had occurred. Being the Warden, he was supposed to be a cruel bastard, going around torturing the slaves, but given the low count of slaves, it would be best to wait until a new batch came in. Interested in preserving the numbers for now, he had taken to watching them. Mostly to keep Cohen away. Rat bastard had begun to chip away at the dog population. And Sallin sure a hell wasn’t going to be intimidating unless it had a substantial amount of slaves.
So, for now. Watching.
Occasionally, the burden of remaining motionless became too great. Then, pacing, with deadened limbs. Back to watching after that. Boredly surveying the ragtag group of dogs. A couple pretended not to notice, at went about their business. Others seemed to terrified to move.
The horror of sitting any longer was daunting, as boredom drowned the poor wolf. Nightshade’s call was welcomed. Something to do rather than watch the slaves nervously. “Everybody up,” he snapped, although some slaves were already standing. A smirk appeared on his face, spiral marking momentarily distorted. Next came herding them into a group. Much easier than single-file it seemed to him. Anyway. “Move.” The next command came was snapped out as soon as the majority of them stood. Trailing behind them, he called out orders, administered a quick swipe of his claws to anyone who was unfortunate enough to fall All in all, they seemed to make the trip in relatively good time.
After steering the group away from “Jack the Ripper”, Hallowed said nothing more and did nothing more. Just let the slaves be until one of them made a wrong move.
--
The howl seemed ominous, coming at dusk and all. The way some of the other slaves seemed to cower and all around Sallin stirred, it was important. Unfortunately, they were required to attend the pack meeting, even though what they did or said mattered little to anyone. Meetings such as these usually just meant sitting around while the alphas rearranged rankings at such. Promoting and demoting: nothing that they were included in. Yet they still were forced to witness the proceedings. Almost as the fact that they were nothing was being rubbed in their faces.
“Everyone up.”
The words rang out, clear and almost smug. Slowly, he rose, thoughts of imagined superiority still working their way through his mind. The next order (“Move”) was called out at Bear followed the rest of them, straying towards the back. He was preoccupied, which was displayed by the concentration displayed on his scarred face. Herded away from the Hold and towards that damn clearing with that damn rock, he barely had enough time to work out the problem in his head before they were in sight of Sallin’s other members. Upon spotting them, he seemed to transform into what he was supposed to be: A slave. His head dropped, as did his tail, as he pressed himself low to the ground. Bear’s oceanic eye lost their luster, while his face slackened. Now, the only thing in the dog’s line of vision was the ground and his paws and the paws of others.

Blackavar saw no reason to hide his curiosity. He lay there in the shade of a large dirt pile, eyeing the new Warden. Hallowed hadn't moved from his spot save to walk off the stiffness in his muscles. This was, in itself, was good news for the slaves- no one was being attacked, but, to the dark dog, it seemed like he was waiting for something. It was less than likely, but still probable, that the Sallinian had grown a brain and realized that the number of Slaves was declining and had decided that they'd better wait for more. No, something was up. Blackavar knew it.
A howl answered his suspicious mind. It was the witch of Arnlan. He knew, not only by voice, but by the way the Warden reacted.
"Everybody up."
Blackavar complied, but also looked around to see if anyone was too weak to get up alone. It seemed that the day of rest had allowed most of them to recover some strength. The ones who were too old were helped by the younger ones. Before Blackavar could approve, the next order was given.
"Move."
With a scowl, the black canine obeyed. However, in order to protect everyone else from any outbursts from the Warden, he hung back, closer to the claws. It meant nothing to him if he lost a limb like Damian. It was just another step closer to getting out of this place, be it by death or some other way.
As they neared the meeting place, Blackavar noticed a large slave near his side. It seemed that upon sight of this ominous gathering, he had lost hope and had sunken down. With a flick of his tail, Black nudged the dog, hoping to help him gain a bit of confidence back with an odd, crooked smile. The smile faded quickly, however, as the situation at hand returned to mind. Blackavar remained standing until every slave was comfortable. Then, as a subtle sign of disrespect, he sat down with his back toward NightShade and the other wolves, seeming to want to keep an eye on the slaves.

Thad sat down in the shadows with his head resting between his paws, as always the harsh sunlight bothered the wolf-dog to no extent. He only grew a bit more relaxed as he sensed the sun sinking down on the horizon. That's when the call came.
Low and menacing, carried by the wind. The supposedly called Queen needed her pack. How convenient he almost snorted at the thought. What was worse is that they had to obey, right now Thad was compelled to get into a tussle with the new Warden, if he would have been alone he probably would have, but he had to keep in mind the rest of the slaves that could do without the trouble.
-"Everybody up."
Thaddeaus managed to hold back the anger and irritation that was building inside him. Pushing himself to his paws he walked towards the gathering slaves. Only barely noticing Blackavar among them, he would probably choose a position that would allow him to keep all the slaves in his vision. With a sigh he moved more towards the middle of the "line" that was beginning to form.
-"Move."
He grimaced and almost glared at the Warden. He was simply showing off, he had barely done a thing except watch the slaves in the time he had been here, which wasn't at all that much. There was a dog next to him, he didn't look that way to identify who it was, but it carried it's head kind of low, so to avoid dragging attention to himself, the vary annoyed Thad had to pull his head a bit lower.
Before long they arrived at the cursed clearing with the foul smelling witch standing in the middle of the flat rock. He bit back as smile as he saw Blackavar stand with his back to rest of the pack. He caught a glimpse of the wolves that had come to the clearing and took a deep breath before slumping down to the ground. He sat still, almost at the corner of the group watching carefully for anything at all, anything to keep his mind of the question that was beginning to nag at his mind. What would that witch want now?
