((the angry mob lost interest, by the way, they stopped following Karleigh))
Fainéant
He finally decided to get off the human as the girl came back and handed him a roll of some beige-coloured stuff. He could smell it... it smelled rather pungent. Perhaps to mask the scent of something? Looking at him from his standing position, he could see strange black markings all over the human's leg. Or... whatever they called those things. Peering closer, he shook his head, starting to feel tingly. This whole thing was starting to creep him out.
Weird humans. Since when did they get writing all over them?!
"Ha, good, you brought some freinds, Maybe they can help me."
Fain cocked an ear and eyebrow at the human. What friends? He didn't see any other humans. "I think you're going delirious, boy," he said, grinning as he realised what the beige stuff was for. Mask the scent of the wound. Ew.

Karleigh
Karleigh nodded as her brother thanked her, then stood, leaning on one of the wooden posts which came up from the pier. She raised an eyebrow at Liam as he showed her his arm.
"Is that just me? Or can you see it too?"
"See what? I don't see anything... but your ugly arm. Nothing's on it except for the wound..?"
" But first, this Fain, needs to get off, before I start talking to him again."
"Talking to him?! Since when do you talk to do-" Realising that what she said was wrong, she paused and reworded it. "I mean, they can't understand you... can they?" She would never know that she was wrong. Oh, so wrong.
