Kail's ears began to twitch at the sound of flesh tearing and stomachs gurgling. He moaned slightly as his eyes fluttered open only half way and he just kind of stared off into nothingness. He took a deep breath and forced himself to his feet. His head hung low from exhaustion and weakness. He hadnt passed out like that in a long time. A small smirk krept across his face as he recalled the several other times he had. He was still slightly drunk but not enough to hinder his knowledge of the world around him. He was constantly in a state of drunkerdness.
A somewhat familiar smell entered his nostrils. He knew it wasnt his rum but another familiar scent. He raised his head and peered around before his eyes met a white female with another smaller male. He squinted his eyes to see more clearly and slowly whispered a name from his lips. "Kait? His voice was tranquil and almost carried solemly upon the light breeze. He could remember loosing his lil sis a long time ago but hadnt ever though he might see her again. Back then she relied soley on him to survive. 'How can she be alive? She could barely fend for herself' He thought as he stumblingly made it over to where the others were."HEY!!!" he shouted to the others. " ...im hungry too" He moved to kait and pressed his weight next to her as he looked down at what was left of the rabbit and licked his lips anticipatingly.

Kait looked up, surprised that Kail at revied from his drunken slumber so quickly. "...I'm hungry too"
Kait's surprise turned once again to anger. Was that all he had to say to her? Maybe she should play that game, then, too.
"I'm sure you could catch your own food, sir," she replied. "There's a rabbit hole just a few yards from here. Maybe you could get something there. That is, unless you frightened them away with your foul stench."
After saying it, she wished she hadn't replied so coldly, but it was too late to take it back, now. Turning back to Teak, she continued eating the rabbit. There were only a few strips of meat left on the carcass, most of which she let Teak to finish. After there was nothing left but fur and bloddy bones, she turned back up to her brother. Did he even recognize her? Perhaps all these months of alcohol had wiped her from his memory, or, even worse, maybe she'd been replaced and he had chosen to forget her. She burned into his eyes with her stare, praying he'd give some sign of recognition.
