((Two people responded to it but they don't come on any more so I'm just posting it back up lol Hope it's ok!))
Soft ebony paws thumped against the sand in a rhythmic motion. Long, lean legs swiftly carried the small body of the she-wolf across the sand. A smile played on her jaw line as she dashed down the beach. She loved running, it felt almost like flying if she closed her blue eyes.
Her black paws started to dig into the wet sand, making her slow to a halt. Her blue eyed gaze swept over the dark, roaring ocean. She was always fascinated by it. It seemed to never end. Panting she sat down on her ebony hackles, her blue eyes fixed on the ocean. A spark of wonder twinkled in her twin eyes, the same spark she had as a young pup when they watched one of her parents hunt. She loved watching them hunt. They did it so well and gracefully, unlike herself. She was graceful with her long legs and lean slender body, but she could never find the rhythm in hunting.
Oddly if something had a rhythm she would be able to pick it up and be able to easily do whatever it was. Like running. It was always the same rhythm. It never changed to her ears. Yet she could never match her graceful lope to catch anything that wasn't too young or too old. She could outrun all her sibling but never learned how to out run a deer. She sighed mentally. She guessed tricking rabbits and eating the young, sick, and old would just have to do for her, at the moment at least.
The salty water lapped at her small front paws. She sighed, closing her blue eyes. A cooling breeze, blowing from the ocean, ruffled her white fur, making her shiver abit. She always like a warm forest then a cool beach for some reason. It was the same with her mother, and the same with her mother. She sighed again, lazily opening her eyes to watch the waves crash into the shore. It was so peaceful yet, acted so reckless.
