Arwen scampered quickly to avoid a wave. Her paws muddy and wet, she limped carefully to keep her paws as dry as possible. She was chasing a nearby crab, her confused and interested light blue eyes watched it carefully as her sore paws pawed at it and avoided it's claws. It walking sideways confused her, and how she couldn't seem to scratch it baffled her.
She kept following it until it ran somewhere to hide. She sat still licking her sand-covered paws. She cocked her ear towards a sound nearby, her head turned towards the sound quickly. Did she see someone? Arwen jumped in slight fright as her tail was soaked with the constant wave.
Arwen scampered away from the ocean, hoping to find shade. her slightly untidy fur waving slightly in the wind. Arwen stopped, panting, weak with hunger and thirst she looked around. Nothing seemed to look appetizing. She sighed and looked at her sore paw. Why was it hurting so?

A pup of three months trudged along Scatterstone, unaware of his surroundings. His dark gray fur held traces of blood from days before, and he had some fresh blood leaking from wounds that had sealed over night but then were re-opened when he got up to move again. The mutts normally bright blue eyes were dull and didn't seem to possess any of the light living things normally had. Where had it gone? Was it snuffed out along with his mothers last breath? A fresh wave of tears began to flow freely from his eyes and he collapsed in the sand, burrying his face in his paws as he wept, unaware of the kitten playing with a crab. What had happened to this pup?
He had seen something a pup or young creature of any kind should never have to see, the death of a parent. In this case his mother. He didn't really care where he was at the moment, but he knew it couldn't have been far from Semone. Klemens took deep, staggering breathes as he lay in the sand crying. Along with the pain his body felt from inflamed and infected wounds and nonstop walking, he was suffering mental and emotional torment. "Why?" He said meekly. Then he repeated himself in a shout. "WHY?"

Arwen looked at the pup with fright. She slowly edged near it, unsure what to say or what to think. . . She came a little closer, very cautious, seeing it was a dog and that's what murdered her mother and most of her siblings. . . He seemed to be in pain, his wounds were bad. She backed up when he screamed to something she couldn't see. She was afraid, wanted to run but something deep down told her to do something. . .
"Why what?" she asked meekly, prepared to run off. Arwen limped back, images of the mad dog that had killed her mother flashed in her head. Were all dogs the same? She hadn't met any other dogs before. . . what if they were all murdrous, blood-crazed wild animals? She was shaking, wanting more than ever to run off and find shelter.

The mutt looked up at the scared kitten, tears staining the sand as they freely flowed from his normally brilliant blue eyes. Klemens tried to say something but he choked up, the words seeming to be constricted in his throat as he took gasps of air. "N-n-nothing." The grey pup finally said, sitting up and trying to wipe his tears away so Arwen couldn't see. He looked at her again and noticed she was a cat. "Y-your a cat." His voice was full of woe and anguish, and his condition was no better. "D-doesn't matter...cat's weren't the cause of my pain."
As he sat there the crimson liquid ran slowly down his fur and stained the sand, only then did he realize he was bleeding again. "Dangit...." He turned his head as far as he could and attempted to clean his wounds, but the ones that were infected smelled putrid and tasted awfull. Klemens gave up on his wounds and turned back to Arwin, noticing that she was hesitant around him. "Don't worry, I-i won't t-try to hurt you." There was a reason for that. He was too weak to try and chase a kitten, even if it was limping. And two, he didn't chase cats, or anything else for that matter. His belly gave a loud rumble and his face scrunched up before he laid back on the ground with a very heavy sigh.

Arwen looked at him with slight confusion and slight worry. She padded closer, her eyes on his wounds, she knew instantly that they were infected. This pup was wounded and probably starving, even though her stomach gave a soft rumble in reply, she knew she couldn't just sit there and watch. But then again, what could she do? Clean the wound with her sand-paper tongue might help. . . but did she dare go close enough? And if she were to hunt for him, she was having enough trouble trying to sneak up on something for her to eat. She couldn't find any reason to stay other than that small voice that makes you so guilty when you know your doing something wrong.
"Do you need help?" her voice was small, but she tried her best to sound brave. She could see a little bit of green puss in some of his worse wounds. He was injured, badly. Arwen limped closer, hoping for an answer to break the silence. Her poorly cared for fur was matted with a couple wounds, but they weren't bleeding, they were a couple days old. "I could try and catch something. . ." She licked her lips at a thought of a mouse, but this pup would need something bigger. . . In the corner of her eye she spotted a rabbit. . . peacefully eating some clovers. She looked back at the pup, still prepared to run if necessary.

This kitten sure is brave. Klemens thought as he looked at her with dull blue eyes, ears drooping in the middle instead of standing staight up like most dogs. The smell of the rabbit peacefully grazing nearby filled his nostrils and made him salivate, but at the same time it made his stomach ache a little. "Help would be nice." When he spoke he was glad to notice that he was no longer choking on his words and his tears were almost gone, only the salty trails remained and the pooling of the tears around his eyes, but his voice was still weak. "We could try and catch that rabbit over there, but I'm no good at hunting." It was true, every time he went to practice hunting with his siblings he'd always get yelled at for scaring away the prey, so he just stopped trying. He didn't really like killing an innocent animal anyways.
OOC: Short and bad, but I need to go to bed before I'm yelled at. xp

Arwen nodded, "Neither am I." She began to chase the rabbit, it was hard, with a sore paw, but it didn't seem to think it was in danger of being caught and didn't leave the area. Arwen leaped forward, her claws catching the tail, but didn't have a tight enough grip. She slid on the damp sand, tail swishing to and fro, her eyes dancing with excitement. She was gaining it, Arwen took an extra leap and landed on it, it kicked her in the muzzle and she gave a squeak of surprise. But she held her grip, her hind legs began raking the rabbit's back and it fell limp. Arwen dragged it proudly to Klemens. "First time I ever caught something!" her voice cheerfull.
