"Yeah, why would we be mad at you." Dean thoughtlessly mirrored his sibling, though he looked slightly miffed at his brother because of it.
He turned and eyed Chase closely. "This isn't the part where you take of your mask and reveal that you've been farmer Jenkins all along, is it?" His expression was odd, making it difficult to ascertain whether he was joking or being serious. "'Cause that'd be lame." He continued watching Chase, waiting to hear what she said.

Good. Both of them were here. She was worried that Dean would be mad, as he seemed unsure now, and had a strange expression. She had to tell them now. She glanced back in the direction of Rusty, making sure they were out of range.
"Umm, guys....I knew of a healer back in my village, but I do not know it it is the same one your dad knew. If it is, I have another problem!" She glanced at her paws, pausing her confession. "I'm lost, have been for weeks. I do not know where my village is or even which direction i came from. I cannot remember!"
She looked at each boy, and threw in her final remark, trying to redeem herself.
"Maybe if your dad leaves that map he drew, we could go back and take a look. Surley we can figue out which direction we should go."

Hank just shrugged, it didn't bother him much, "Jeez lady, so we'll just check the map...no big deal...it's not like pop remembers either." The yellow pup didn't see why Chase thought it was just a big deal.
"'Cause that'd be lame."
He looked at his brother and nodded. "Yeah...thanks for saying it, if you hadn't I would..." the pup stood up and shook himself, "So what now?"

"Hank's right. It doesn't really matter if it's the same guy, so long as he can help our pop!" His shrill voice rose as he nodded his head. "And, don't worry about being lost. We kinda know our way around the compound..." He trailed off and shook his head, unsure of where the word had come from. He shook his head and continued. "And it wouldn't be hard to check the map either."
"Yeah...thanks for saying it, if you hadn't I would..."
He rolled his eyes at his brother. "Whatever..."
"I think we should check that map again, then we'll try to find our way back to that village thingie to find the healer!" His voice rose to an excited pitch, and he jumped up high in excitement. Then he fell over. "Whoa," he stood up shakily. "Head rush."

Chase was quite stunned by these two boys. Under ever other simular circumstance she'd faced in her life she would have gotten into trouble. She was beginning to like them more as the day went on. She immediately brightened. Maybe for once in her life, she could do something right and be of some good use to someone.
"Yes, check the map!" she added her own excited voice to Dean's. When he just fell over, she shot a questioning glace to Hank....was Dean always like this?
She then turned and trotted eagerly back in the direction they'd left the ailing Rusty. She peered through the trees-he was no longer sitting by the map he'd drawn.
"come on! Now's our chance!" she whispered without looking back. Her had one thing on her mind...get to that map and get on their journey.

Hank was gonna take a bite at his brother for being so snippy, but as he fell down, he couldn't help but snicker at him, look to Chase as she eyed him with confusion. Though he didn't want to say anything, he had noticed once or twice before, Dean was a lot like their Father, and kind of feeble like that.
"Spaz" He scolded amusingly, trotting ahead to look at the map with a bit of confuzzlement.
"Hey guys...you should check this out." the yellow pup pointed a large paw at the markings, as well as Dean and he knew their way around, it seemed that Rusty had drawn an aerial view of Kloteck...nothing that he understood.

"I am not a spaz!" Dean's voice was such a high pitch, that it seemed to contradict his statement all on its own. He shot a small glare at Hank, then shook his head a bit and followed Hank and Chase back towards the clearing.
"Check what out?" He walked over to what Hank was indicating on the map, and then he kind of boggled. "Okay, that doesn't look right, does it?" He eyed it intently, trying to discern any landmarks he'd recognize. He looked between the map and the surrounding area, unsure of what to do. "Does this make any sense to you Chase?" He stepped aside, letting the other pup get a look at the map.

Chase didn't hear the banter between the boys as she stared at the map scrawled upon the ground. If she was seeing it right-IF-then the spot Rusty had made an emphasis on where the healer had been was somewhere to the right-or left-of their location. But from what she could remember of this area, there were some awful steep cliffs along this pass that were covered in snow. She may have been young, but even she was smart enough that it would be quite dangerous to try to go over them....
"It looks like your dad said the healer was there,"she said, pointing to the area. "But the cliffs along this pass seem dangerous. It shouldn't be too hard to go to the village and go around," she thought out loud, glancing up at the boys. It seemed right-did they concur?

"Th-the, Village?" Hank didn't seem to understand, shaking his head, his brother and he had left the area so rarely in their short lifespan...but he knew where it was and what one was. "You mean where all the humans are?" he stated daftly, not quite comprehending what Chase meant that they should go around it.

Chase looked up from the map. Hank wore a look of pure confusion.
"Yes-the village. The one called Hallow? If we go to the village, we can go around these high cliffs that surround us here. From the village, we can go around the cliffs instead of trying to go over them. What, your not afraid of humans, are you?" she joked, know full well she didn't like humans, but she wasn't about to let them know......
