"Oh sweet melody, I sing to thy. Of clouds twisting in majestic shapes as the wind caresses their soft cheeks." a small red canine sat just off the beaten path, staring up to the sky as if howling though really just whispering sweet nothings to it. Probably looking much like an innocent fool, yet he knew exactly what he was doing it seemed. "How thy sings back, whispering nothing like the lovely poison others fill thee with. No, you sing of your travels, just as I do. Oh the stories you tell, the souls that howl in your fur as you glide across the earth with such grace, telling a different story as you brush through the branches, this meager grass, through my own pelt." he chimed as if saying a well written poem. And perhaps...It was just that. "You're melody is of royalty, not fit for any of our ears and yet you graciously sing it to us, you're majesty..." he bowed to the sky. "You are far too kind to you're people, milady."

Akree walked on the edge of the mud path known as Dante's Pass. She walked with her eyes straight ahead, ears alert and tail swishing behind her with the wind. She had been walking like this for some time now, she walked alert for any sound, any sound at all. The soft mud stuck to her paws and she sprinted toward the trees and grass, tired of the same scenery. She shook the mud of her paws and she caught a faint sound. She lifted her head and pricked her hearing, she could hear howling, someone singing, clearly out of tune, but she was to far away to make any words.
She bolted away from the mud turning around the trees, until she could make out a few of the words. She slowed her pace to a walk as she caught sight of a wolf. She wrinkled her nose and walked toward the wolf.
"If I were you I'd practice my singing" she said rudely.

The red wolf paused in the middle of his croon, blinking his amber eyes as he looked back at the other wolf calmly. An odd little grin spread across his features, his expression seemed amused for some reason. "Which is exactly what I'm doing. And I'd go somewhere more secluded, only I'd scare away half the forest." Redwood had always been good at dodging remarks and slipping past teases. He just kind of bended his way out of everything. His grin softened to a more friendly smile as he added, "I'm Redwood, by the way."

"Which is exactly what I'm doing. And I'd go somewhere more secluded, only I'd scare away half the forest."
Akree chuckled and said "You'd scare the earth under your paws" she said a lot more politely smiling.
She walked toward the awkward wolf, keeping her head high.
"I'm Redwood, by the way."
She scoffed, this wolf was a bit to peppy. She sat down and with a polite grin she said "A Pleasure"

He grinned at her response, though she was jeering at least he'd gotten her to smile. It was all the world to Redwood, for the happiness of others. He lived for it. "Indeed." he replied, bowing his head chivalrously.

She eyed the wolf cautiously, and scoffed as he bowed, but somehow a grin found its way on her muzzle. She flicked her tail, in thought. This wolf was annoying, yet comedic, she thought. She looked at Redwood, he seemed pleased with himself. A chuckle left her mouth. She turned her head to look at the trees, she enjoyed scenery very much.
"Indeed?" she said sarcastically, not moving her head, but her tail twitched slightly "Now, it doesn't seem as polite" she said snapping her jaws shut, gritting her teeth.
((LOL mood swings))

Redwood didn't seem to react, still smiling pleasantly though his mood seemed to cool slightly. Amber eyes watched her without revealing emotion, tail swaying. "I was only agreeing." he replied calmly.

Akree scoffed and began to circle the wolf. She stopped behind him and grunted. The scenery around them was mostly trees, it didn't matter much, besides this wolf was clearly hiding something. She walked away from the wolf and sat down behind a tree, light penetrated lightly through the leaves above. She was in a bad mood, definitely no mood to deal with this wolf.
She flattened her ears against her skull and decided to look above her. A bird flapped above her, it ruffled tis feathers and chirped contently. She shook her head and turned to look at the horizon.

Redwood kept his eyes on her though didn't meet her gaze directly, that was rude and challenging where he came from. He stayed seated, looking quite calm with a slight smile on his face. "You're glaring daggers at me." he chuckled quietly, even as she walked away from him. "Is it useless to ask why?"

The sound of running water could be heard from where she was, she grunted. The reason for her being in such a bad mood was she hadn't been able to find some shelter to sleep in the past few days. She flicked her tail as she heard the footsteps of probably the very annoying Redwood. She ignored the wolf and kept looking blankly into the horizon.
"You're glaring daggers at me." chuckled the wolf. "Is it useless to ask why?" said the wolf.
Akree stood up and turned around to face the wolf. The wolf stood there, looking at her. Akree grunted and turned around again. She took a step froward, as she caught sight of a squirrel, she was very hungry. She licked her maw and eyed the squirrel hungrily.

"I'll take that as a yes." Redwood murmured uneasily. This wolf was rather...unresponsive. He was a very social being, it was weird for him when he ran into others who were not. He watched the squirrel as well, but he let her go for it. He wasn't hungry, always being sure to full his stomach when he had the chance.

The timber wolf followed the squirrel with her gaze, but left it be. Her stomach groaned every now and then, good thing it couldn't be heard. She dropped to her hind legs and turned to look at the blue sky above, maybe it was hunger and sleepless nights that had led her to be in such a grumpy mood. With a flick of her tail, the she wolf closed her eyes and tried to concentrate on her thoughts, emotions where ruling her at the moment, this wasn't good.
-"I'll take that as a yes." said Redwood.
-She turned around a growled softly to the wolf, she certainly wasn't on that mood, that mood that allowed her patience to deal with morons. She scoffed and stood up, looking over her shoulder to the wolf "What is it now?" she asked with a growl.
