The slate colored male entered the mystical lands known as anrlan. He had sensed something was in these lands and needed to come to investigate. His awkward colors brought much attention to him that he did not want. He wanted to be left alone for the most part.
But today would be different. His slim paws set foot on the cool ground beneath him as he strolled silently into the twin's domain. He was able to pick up many scents, the forest, other wolves, and now a new, yet familiar smell. His yellow and green eyes narrowed, their pupilessness gleamin in the light fog that was cast upon the lands.

((I am playing Pollux until the point Shanda and I can finish our scene))
Pollux could attest that a wild coat often attracted wild attention, and oft, the attention wasn't welcomed. The scout grunted she hadn't taken well to the hunts she had been part of, but soldiered on, hobbling on her leg, she couldn't wait for it to heal, she had things to do. And she could not bother herself to wait.
She would patrol the lands, until she was fit to go scouting once again, if she was ever fit to scout again. The female had been part of a set of twins herself, though not related, they were as close as any real twins, if not closer. But no amount of scouring Arnlan would ever bring him back so she could find him.
Pollux moved on, a unfamiliar scent tickling her nose, she paused stalk still, stalking as well as she could on three good legs, testing the air, there was a new wolf here, and she did not know if it was benign, it could easily be a wolf of Sallin, as as easily as a wolf seeking haven in Arnlan pack lands. And she would not be able to fight if it was the latter....
She crept forward, noticing the strange wolf, he looked similar to the quiet hunter, whom Pollux had heard Sofika scold often, but that was neither here nor there. "Who are you?" she asked, a bit more cagey then she meant to sound, as she was a bit on the defense.

The male's white tipped ears flickered to where Pollux had made herself pressent. His head turned to look at her with his distant looking eyes. In many ways he was much like his brother, and in many ways he was not.
He didnt bother to turn his body to her, his back still present to her. He could sense no real threat from the injured elderly female. "I seek a certain scent" He said blandly. His voice smooth and calm, yet cold. There was no emotion behind any of it. His tail moved effortlessly from one side of his body to the other in a slow motion.

If Pollux could read thoughts, this scrap of a pup would have been kibble, after all, while she was getting on in years, she certainly wasn't some elderly white wolf. She eyed the male coolly.
"I seek a certain scent"
The scout sighed, and rolled her eyes, "I see that. However, you have entered the lands of Arnlan, and cannot progress further until you meet with one of our alphas," She spoke kindly to the young wolf, she did not sound threatening, just that it was a common matter of business "I shall call for one of them."
She tipped her head back and howled, long and reedy, her voice certainly wasn't made for singing, but she at least didn't sound like a drowned hound dog.

His ears flicked again as he peered around to his surroundings. This place seemed so calm and placid. His eyes were aimed back at her again as she went to call for an alpha. Certainly a well organized pack he thought. A small trace of a smirk came across his face as he looked away again.
"I shall wait then" He said cooly in reply, setting down on his haunches and shaking some of the myst that had fallen onto his slate, black, and white colored fur.

"I shall wait then"
"It shouldn't be long." Pollux nodded, pleased that the male didn't make some sort of fuss or some such nonsense. She sat down on her haunches, taking an idle lick at her still new wound.
She straightened up and looked at the young male, "I'm Pollux, Scout of Arnlan." She was very stern in her duty to her pack, though she wasn't without humor or kindness, she was often very sociable.
"So what scent are you following?"

He turned to her again, this time actualy turning to her, but laying down whilst at it. "I am Deimon" He said softly, letting a yawn escape his jaws. "I follow a scent similar to mine, yet different than my own." He said as if contemplating soemthing. He looked back to the darker side of the forest and took a sniff.

"A scent like yours...but different?" She hummed, Pollux always prided herself as being a clever wolf, she liked riddles. "Like a sibling?" Her own brothers and sisters from her litter smelled similar, but different, and her brother from another litter smelled curiously the same too. She wouldn't if that was what this male was seeking.
"Perhaps there is someone here that you are related to." The scout didn't rule it out, she noted that, outside of not smelling like Arnlan, there was a hint of something to him that felt...familiar.
((I am sorry Jak! I was sorta waiting for a Alpha to come around, but we can keep this going until somebody shows up. Forgive me ;__;))

Just inside the tree line, a shadow moved swiftly within the fog. Instead of dodging logs and boulders like she usually did, NightBlood deliberatly climbed them and jumped over them. Her bad leg had not hurt since she had accepted Sina, a light colored yearling. A flicker of pride ad power burned inside the giant, reveling in the painlessness of her old injury. She would enjoy the time of peace as much as possible until it desided to flare again.
At the moment, a kind of cruel, sick happiness overtook the Sentry. An evil smirk was cast over her muzzle as she leaped and climbed over every obstical. Why she was happy, not even she knew the reason. Perhaps it was the fact that her cousin had finally found her and had joined Arnlan, or maybe it was a sertain song that she couldn't get out of her head.
NightBlood wasn't running. No, running would only make her tired. Night couldn't run worth crap for very long. She was jogging, at her leisure, around the Arnlanian border. It was her job to keep out tresspassers and to welcome potential members if they proved worthy. She had accepted many... chased away few... Something was deffinatly off there... but she'd figure it out later.
Pollux's howl rang in her ears. They were starting to see eachother more often since they had both returned. Her smile widened. When would the multi-colored female learn that she didn't have to do everyone's job? No matter. She would not try to control her. Night was glad for the help. She just wished Pollux wouldn't work herself to death.
Night sped up as best she could, launching herself from the top of logs and large rocks instead of simply falling from them. All the while, the fast-paced song rang in her head.
'And in the wake of his mistake So many lives are broken Gone forever from a loaded bullet And no excuse that you could use Could pull somebody through it And to this day so many say "God why'd you let him do it?"
How could you let him do it? How could you put us through it? His brother watched him do it
How could you take his life away? How could you be so full of hate? And when I heard you let him die And made the world all wonder why I sat at home and cried alone and on my own I scratched your name On the side of a bullet'
She found the Scout and the newcomer with relative ease. Pausing before reaching them, she noted the male's strange coloring. Blue, black, and white? Very odd. Stranger than Pollux's markings, that's for sure. Oh well. She was not there to jugde.
The Sentry walked forward and stopped once she reached the two.
"Yet another, Pollux! What's this one want?" she asked with a grin, heeping her good eye on the stranger.

"Same as the last few, though more like your coz...he's looking for somebody he might know." The older female nodded at Nightblood, looking strained, but trying her hardest to look cheerful. "Seems like nice enough wolf, a bit succinct, but I wouldn't fault him on that."
She smiled and took a hop to the left so the sentry could have a better look at him. "Doesn't smell like Sallin." Pollux sniffed again, yeah, that seemed right.

Deimon stood firm as the other female approached. His icey eyes looked over her sleek form. Much different than Pollux's, whose old age was visible, but her spirit was strong and he liked that in a female. But mating never crossed his mind. He was thinking more along the lines of a companion or pack member. He would rather have a high spirited other than one with low self-esteem.
The thickly male stepped close to Night and held himself proud. "I am Deimon, and I seek a familiar scent from this area" He said with a quick look around him.

"Doesn't smell like Sallin."
At that, NightBlood gave a curt nod. She didn't doubt Pollux's sences, but scents could be masked. She'd heard of and experienced events like that.
The larger female looked down at the male as he took a step toward her. Bravery. More and more wolves were getting it. Not long ago, she would have been surprised if one showed such curage in her pressence, seeing as her appearance was more ominous than not.
"I am Deimon, and I seek a familiar scent from this area."
To which NightBlood questioned, with clear rememberance of ShadeBlood's encounter with Sofika, "A member of Arnlan? Who's scent? What name?"
She felt more grateful now that Pollux had sighted the male first. NightBlood hardly knew any of the original members and barely remembered the names of who she'd accepted. Bad qualities in a Sentry, maybe, but at least she got the job done.
Quietly, she listed off the members she knew in her head. Sofika Karolek Pollux, of course Orion Archer Grebo Myth Sina Ziko...
Her mind went blank after that.

Mordicai Lucian Crow Trinity Entei Phoenix Tokokuni Levy Ardane Ecclesiastes
...Ecclesiastes
"..." Pollux paused at that one, and sniffed again, this time a deeper breath in, as though tasting the air. Now that she had a name, a smell to recollect, Deimon's own scent seemed more familiar to her, it seemed to come to her all at once, like a firefly. The scout looked the male up and down, inspecting him, they both had very similar blue white and black coloration, wispy markings, add colored eyes....though Deimon seemed much more blue, as Ecclesiastes was more gray in some places.
"Ecclesiastes would be my guess. Similar markings..." She sniffed again, trying to remember the hunter's scent. "But that wouldn't rule out Ardane or Tokokuni...but Ardane smells like an old pack, and Tokokuni....is she even here? " Pollux's ears swiveled in thought, as she licked her muzzle. "Well it doesn't matter, she's female anyways, a sweeter smell, not like him..." she gestured a paw at Deimon and smirked, the shook her snared paw at the larger female
"You know Ecclesiastes don't you Nightblood? The Hunter, the one that kept getting himself in trouble...but you could hardly blame the poor pup, its not as though one wolf can feed an entire pack..." she thought out loud often, inner monologues were left for more serious decisions "I bet if we got the two together, this mystery would be solved." The scout yawned, and then looked between the two of them, completely oblivious to how much she had just talked.

Deimon simply stood there and watched the two females talk between themselves. He knew none of the members of the pack in these lands. His ears perked as the two of them began to understand his scent and whom he might be related to. His icy blue eyes looked around and took a deep whiff. The deep scent of the forest overpowered his nose, the only ones he could smell were Nightblood and Pollux, who's scents were now engraved into his memory.
He took a step closer to Pollux as she uttered the word "Ecclesiastes", it was a name close to his own, unique and foreign to the ears, but had great meaning. "Can either of you kind ladies escort me to this Ecclesiastes" He said in his deeper voice.
