VERY IMPORTANT!
If you already have a character within the village send me a PM and we can discuss your characters position within the village. As follows:
1. If you have always had a character in Hallow Village, just notify me via PM and I'll add them to the current ranks.
2. We can decide whether or not they are old members of the village and have been born and raised within the borders. Note that with this option you may be offered rank immediately.
3. Or we can decide if you want your character to be a newcomer to the village whereby you would need to go through acceptance with Wesley.
Hallow Village
Ancient and well guarded, Hallow is a quaint area, with cobblestone streets and old cottages. The dogs living here have made their home alongside humans, and help them to carry out daily tasks such as hunting and pulling sleds and carts in exchange for shelter, food, and the bond shared between man and dog (even as cheesy as that sounds). Hallow is a neutral pack, but will aid Synl by giving food and shelter to them or any of their members should they need it. They will not, however, aid them in any battles currently.
The alphas are well aware of the lurking creatures outside the village. Dogs terrified of humans and wolves alike have lurked on the border's edge for as long as they can remember. Wesley and Echo do not have a problem with their existence, after all, every creature needs a safe, neutral place to lay its head every now and then. Just so long as they stay out of trouble and not upset the delicate balance of life that has evolved over time.
Ranks
Ranks are not to be asked for. Certain ranks will be given out to those who Wesley deems fit for the job. Anyone granted rank must remain active. If not they will be stripped of their rank and placed back at the bottom of the pack list.
Wolves
As the village is also occupied by humans it would be unwise for any wolf character to enter the village. The humans are well equipped to deal with straggler wolves however, Wesley will usually confront the individual himself and ask him to leave. If the offender does not leave he will be attacked and forced out of the area. Any pack member dealing with an intruder may create a human character to assist them within their post for example...
Wesley: The wolf refused to leave and took a leap for Wesley. However he was too fast and quickly ducked to the side. A nearby human realised the commotion and grabbed a clump of wood from his shed and came to scare the mongrel off. Wesley rolled behind the offender as the human came towards the wolf. He was angry and was shouting. He waved the wood around in the air at the wolf, attempting to frighten him.
Notice how the human does not hit the other wolf. Fighting rules still apply and it is up to the defending wolf character to decide whether or not he is intimidated or if he is whacked with the wood or if he wants to submit and leave. The human is just reinforcement for the pack members. Think of it as double damage? A special attack/ attribute only the Hallow dogs possess?
