Alright, alright, I know I've been inactive due to some things going on at my place, but when I do log on, I notice that things are kind of...slow? Mostly in the RP area, and in some of the comic character accounts and such (anyone know where Scamp/Sonny went?).
So, I'm thinking maybe we need help in recruiting new members. Of course, I do so myself where I can, but if anyone knows any people who may be interested in joining KO, I would greatly appreciate it if you could give a shout out for us ;D.
I sound like such a sad case right now...meh.

What's funny about that is that when I joined, I ended up dragging my two best friends into it the next day becuase we ususally tend to get users on the same sites. When someone does something the other two of us follow! It was the same way with quizilla.com and Fanfiction.net, we always chase eacother everywhere! Anyway, I love this site and I hope you get lots more members cuz things would be cooler if we had more peeps! But it rocks right now too! XD

I agree with you Kahvie, the forum has gone rather quiet =/ Especially around the Spam area, which is... strange... I think Kloteck was advertised on the BBA, but I am not sure if anyone has seen it.  |

Hmm...I was thinking about posting it on the BBA, but the Ad board seems to be gone  . Also, maybe we should have some sort of event/activity/contest to bring in more members? I'm sure simply posting "Hey, come join this board!" isn't very interesting for potential members, no? |

WHOA! I just went to BBA and realized how right you are, they have a ton of members compared to this place...It would be more interesting if there were more peeps! A contest eh...that would be cool...I wonder what kind of contest? Or whatever else...Maybe you could find some other places to advertise too...I'm sure there's a million other animal rps out there...I'll tell you if I think of anything...

In comparison with my own forum, this place is huge, but people have been quiet recently. Plus, a lot of folks have a tendency to just appease folks by making a name and leaving.
I'm not sure if an event or contest would get folks interested, but I do agree that just telling people to join doesn't really work. I couldn't actually say what compells folks to join and stay. Hrmm...how sad.

I've adertised the site on Quizilla. I'm a popular writer on the site so plenty of people have checked it out.
I advertised on some other sites, but a contest of some sort would be helpful in bringing in new members. Then just having advertisments saying come check this site out and join posted around. Inform me if you do hold a contest... Then I could add that to the advertisments.

And I just wanted to say.
From time to time I check back at Kloteck because although I'm no longer a part of it, I do have a vested interest in its welfare because I think it is a very awesome place. And frankly, yes. It's getting really slow, and I know the symptoms from owning several early sites - unless you act fast it will probably die altogether.
In that spirit, if you don't mind it - despite the fact that I am, as aforementioned, no longer a member - I'd be more than willing to advertise this site in the places that I advertise mine. And trust me. On the few days when I'm actually unlazy enough to do it, it works and ropes in a good few members. But of course, I understand if you don't want me advertising a site I'm not a part of.

Also, I have to say that the slowness is also my fault in many ways...I've been really slow with getting page six of the comic up, and I'm sure that fact has a lot to do with this:B.
