How did your character and what was life before now?
Born into a pack of street dogs that practically ran the city they were in. He and his brother were in charge of getting food for the pack along with a few other dogs. One day while they were out attempting to steal some food a fruit seller's cart broke and fell on his brother Bolek, killing him. Boz's pack mates showed no concern for the loss of their own. Disgusted Boz left to make his own way in the world.

The loss of his brother affected him greater than he'd ever expected

nothing has really affected him. He's a pretty optimistic guy.
