Build and Conformation: A little bulky, but not fat, just a little muscular. Lean, and with a strong jaw.
Over-All appearance: Kind of scruffy, especially in spots like his ears, his tail, and his elbows and heels. Has a lot of scruff on his chin.
Physical Limitations: He has a limp in his left hind paw, where he'd gotten into a fight when he was in his prime, and had his leg twisted.
Health/Illnesses: He's quite healthy, though more or less old.

How did your character live and what was life before now?
He was a very mischevious pup, but grew to understand that if he didn't get into trouble, he wouldn't find out how to get out of it. So he's been through the mill, but now possesses the gift of experiance, which he prides himself on.
Struggles and hardships so far?
He has fought and near died for more than one dog in his life. That was how he got his limp, when he fought for a female, but lost. It is among his regrets, even getting into the fight.
Forced down this path or was it their choice?
Half and half. He thought that if he didn't go down his path, he'd be weak, and would die an early death.
Any regrets?
Too many to count.
What special circumstance have shaped them into who they are?
After his many past struggles, his personality has been shaped into a gruff and knowing elder, but he hides a hidden attitude of a yearling, which he has managed to keep preserved through the years.
Has anything happened to them so far that they can not forgive or live down, or anything that has scarred them?
Jo doesn't like to dwell on the past or the future. He lives in the now. Even if something happened in the past, he knows that there's no going back to fix it. What happened, happened.

Usually just up and speaks them out, unless it's extreme sadness, to the point of crying. He'll hide it under a mask of anger; whether at himself or someone else depends on the situation.

Nothing that he knows is impossible. At times, all he wants is a big fat ham.
