Yes, I'm doing a female character! lol this is most unlike me. But I thought my first RP wolf ever, Sootyca, needed a revamp. So this wolf is sort of based on Sootyca.
Name: Myth
Nicknames(s): Moth; tanglewitch (hates this name).
Gender: Female
Age: 4
Species: Wolf
Breed: Purebred Arctic wolf
Height: 3.27ft
Weight: 86 pounds
Fur: Very thick and bushy but soft. She has a mane and tufts of hair on her hocks. Hair on the face and paws in particular is soft. It is not particularly shiny. The majority of her fur looks snow-white, but in certain light it appears to be very light beige. Patches of her pelt are slightly deeper beige.
Markings: The tips of her front left toes are slightly darker beige than anywhere else on her pelt. A thin line of fur around her eyes is pitch black, so that it looks quite striking and makes her eyes stand out against the white fur.
Eyes: White and sparkly. Their expression is seductive, mysterious and intelligent, but at times they become wide and playful, curious and a little mad.
Tattoos: None
Piercings: None
Extras: A red bandana around her neck. At the points where it is tied under her neck, a bronze pendant in the shape of a swirl hangs. This bangs against her chest like an extra heartbeat when she runs.
Build and Conformation: She has a long tail, a longish body and shortish legs. She is slender, but not skinny, and not particularly muscular although her legs are well-muscled from running. Like most Arctic wolves she has smallish ears. Large hips indicate she is fit to carry cubs, and she has a wide chest. Her paws are small for an Arctic wolf, and this sometimes makes them hurt if she stands up for too long, and it also means she does not have as much grip on the ice as most of her kind.
Over-All appearance: Beautiful, but not trying to be beautiful or impress anyone. She does usually look quite scruffy, but she can scrub up if needed.
Physical Limitations: Small paws, not very muscular - unlikely to win a fight against a more muscled wolf.
Health/Illnesses: Not very good circulation in her paws - they get cold easily and need to be warmed up or she’ll get frostbite. She has a delicate stomach and has to eat little and often or she will be ill. Her hearing is generally brilliant, but her left ear is slightly less proficient than her right.
Original Pack: The Tangle pack in the middle of nowhere, in the Scottish mountains far from any humans.
Pack at this time: None - hopes to join Arnlan
Rank and/or Title(s): Previously a pupsitter and storyteller
Talents/Skills: Looking after children, running, storytelling, guarding: she can get really angry and aggressive if something she knows is challenged. Her anger can come and go very quickly. The fact that she's quite small and not very muscular can be disguised very easily by confident, angry stances - she can make herself look quite big and impressive. Plus she’s not a bad fighter - she knows some skills as she was trained to guard borders when she was little (they thought she would be big and muscular, but then she stopped growing). She’s intelligent and creative, as well as very curious and knows a lot about the world around her (particularly animals). She knows lots about the biology and psychology of wolves. She has very good eyesight and can walk stealthily and silently with ease. She’s also quite witty - a general all-rounder, in other words.
Mannerisms: “You spanner!” (insult), “Whatever”, “You’re the boss...” (meaning, I think you’re wrong but because you’re in charge I can’t challenge you) “Bugger”, “Sod off”. She also uses the word bloody to describe something, even if it’s a good thing. Eg. “Stop complaining, you spanner. It’s snowing, so let’s have a bloody snowball fight!”
Speech Patterns: She has a versatile voice, but a slight Gloucestershire accent (very slight) unless she tries hard to sound posh.
Style: Quite clumsy unless she wants to sound posh. Her voice is quite low and boyish sounding. She’s good at imitating the calls of other animals and birds.
-Lineage-Past, Present, Future-
Grandfathers:
Grandmothers:
Mother:
Father:
Siblings: Many
Offspring: Quite a few, as breeding among subordinates was allowed in her previous pack. Notably she had a daughter, Kalika, who was quite aggressive and powerful (escaped from the pack); a son Lion who stuck by her until she forced him to leave to save himself. She misses Lion.
Family structure and quality of relationships: Most of the pack feared her, outcast her and she never really got on with many wolves, but her mother loved her.
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual
What qualities do they look for in a mate: Good with puppies and able to protect his family. Good sense of humour, very happy (not depressed) and respect her but not worship her.
Mate: None
-History-
How did your character get here and what was life before now? She lived in a pack separated from any other life apart from the herd of deer which they followed for most of the year. There were a few rival wolf packs, but she has not known much war and has never been affected by it (although she understands it and it saddens her). She looked after the pups, and never was one killed or succumbed to disease whilst under her care. However, the whole pack was suspicious of her: her striking white eyes were unlike anything they were used to, and some of the other storytellers began to tell tales about a Tanglewitch. This was a wolf who used to be in the pack, they said, and she could work magic and read minds. Her defining characteristic was her white eyes with black lines around them.
The stories started out with the Tanglewitch as a good character, but slowly the young cubs and the rest of the packs turned the tables and the stories began to tell of how the Tanglewitch tried to take over the pack and control their minds. This increased the fear that the pack had for Myth, and one year when the deer failed to appear she was blamed. Myth was driven from the pack. She became so weak that she was easily captured for a Swedish zoo and shipped over to Sweden. Since her escape she has travelled and hunted, learning more about men and their dogs.
Forced down this path or was it their choice? Forced.
Any regrets? Not being able to protect her pack now. Not being able to explain herself properly, and not saying goodbye to her mum.
Has anything happened to them so far that they can not forgive or live down, or anything that has scarred them? She can’t forgive the way her pack turned on her.
-The Mental-
Defining Characteristics: Brave, HATES humans and particularly human children, likes to guard but not to fight, loves all animals, very curious and not too safety-conscious. Untameable.
Goals: To be respected but not particularly wanting to be alpha.
Usual disposition: Friendly, bubbly, inquisitive and intelligent.
Alignment: Good
How does the character see themselves? As someone who’s average who has to work hard to get anywhere in life.
How self-confident is the character? Not particularly. She thinks she’s average at everything.
How does the character deal with emotions? She cries if on her own, panics and is very emotional for a very short space of time, and then gets on with life.
How do they deal with loss and change? See above.
Hopes/Desires: To have friends, a mate and pups of her own again.
Fears/Phobias: Scared of bad, crazy wolves (she’s quite naïve). When she can’t see anything her imagination creates things to scare her, like scary noises.
Dirty Secrets: She was manipulated and raped (though not violently) by an older wolf when she was a tiny pup.
Ruled by emotion or logic or a combination: A combination.
Self centered, selfish, or selfless: Selfless when it comes to most things, but only to a point. When pushed so far she looks after number 1 (although pups always, always come first).
Polite or rude: Polite, but sometimes rude by accident.
Annoying or laid back: Can be quite annoying when she’s hyper, but most of the time she tries to be laid back and to quell her highly-strung, panicky mind.
Optimist or pessimist: Tries to be optimistic.
Forgiving: Depends what it is.
Control freak: No!
Manipulative: Can be, but tries not to.
Patient: Very, except when it comes to things like love.
Favorites: Birds and other animals, interesting and colourful things, magic and alchemy.
Hates: Humans and their cities.
Training/Education: Trained to be a border guard, storyteller and pupsitter.
What makes your character laugh? A lot of things! Jokes, watching wildlife and anything that’s not sad.
-Attitude, Morals, Beliefs, etc-
Attitude towards...
Others: If they’re not too intrusive and they’re nice to her, then they’re fine. If they’re really nice to her then she is careful to be nice back to them.
Friendship: She’s very loyal but usually has one good friend and lots of quite good friends.
Sex: Nervous about it
Love: Doesn’t really like the fact that it makes her friends leave her when they fall in love. She doesn’t believe there is one wolf for every she-wolf. She views it in a logical and practical light, but she does like to dream about the dark handsome wolf who whisks her off her feet.
Other species: Loves learning about them.
Other pack/clan/pride/etc: members: As long as they pull their weight she likes them. She tries to get on with everybody.
Political beliefs: Likes it when there’s a kind, fair alpha who works with the rest of the pack and listens to their views.
Superstitions: Very superstitious - all typical English superstitions are followed.
Religious: Believes that the Earth is the mother of all the creatures and plants, and that every creature must respect every other creature because they are all children of the same planet.
-Life-
Closest Friends: None
Noted Accomplishments: She trained a hawk to help her hunt when she was a lone wolf. She misses the hawk. They had a very strong bond. Also raising countless wolf cubs!
Hobbies: Wildlife watching, making up stories and listening to stories.
