I have been seeing people either create a new account, post their website, and then take off and never post here again. I have also seen people create an account, make around 10 to 50 posts, disappear for a few months, come back and post their site, and then take off again. So, new rule.
If I see anyone create an account(s) as a new member here on Kloteck and post their website as one of their first few posts, and then post nothing else after one month, I will remove that website thread.
You must have 40 or more posts before you post a website. And if I find out you spent all your time on the SPAM board in a short period of time just to get 40 posts for this, your site will be removed.
If I see any previous members that have not posted here on Kloteck for over one month suddenly log on, post their website, and then disappear and not post anywhere other than the Website section again after a week, I will remove that website thread.
In addition, I have the right to remove any websites of members who have not been active here for over three months without posting a reason why they are not active here anymore under the Leaving section.
I'm sorry if this sounds harsh, and I probably wouldn't mind it if Kloteck was an active board, but when people come in and do the above, it just burns me. The Website section is a place for Kloteck's active members to share their sites with other active members, not a place for people to come in from other places, post their websites, and then disappear. I may be wrong in some cases, but that just tells me that you are simply taking advantage of Kloteck, a place that I work very hard to keep running and fun for its active members, and using it simply as a free billboard. Knock it off/don't do it, please.
