 Geez, I haven't drawn a human in what, a year or so? Some concept sketches for one of the two dudes who will show up in the new page four of the comic or so. He's the owner of a tavern in Hallow. Not exactly an evil character or anything, but he doesn't care to follow honest business practices when it comes to running his place. He obviously doesn't like dogs too much, either...outside of including them in the day's soup, anyways ("Lulz, so that's where Joe's dog went! Refund, plz!"). Eh...chubby guys are fun to draw. You can get a lot of character outta them. Poor Kavs, she tries so hard to act tough when she's freaked out. |

Heh, I actually thought at one point when planning the new pages about giving her a "buzz off, dude" look, but I figured with her personality and how she gets caught by this guy and his buddy, it would be more likely for her to be scared out of her mind, but still try and act viciousXD (plus, though I may be wrong, dogs usually seem to act mean out of fear instead of actual anger in such situations, so it made sense in a true-to-life way as well).
Nyaha, it was Kavs' fault. Kid caught in the cookie jar:P.

I wonder...how will you keep the good expression here and clean it up at the same time, Kahvs? I mean...it'll be hard to keep the look on his face and have it nice and clean...How...?

Thankies! I had actually avoided drawing them (humans) for the longest time...if I remember correctly, I never showed Kahvie actually stealing anything directly from Hallow or Rakine in between pages 4 and 5 because my comfort level when drawing humans was about 0%. So, I decided it was time to get around that in the redoes:P.
Yep, Beav's there, although I'm not sure he'd go for the behind...that's more Kahvie's jobXD. Also, glad to hear he looks like he has a lot of personality, since I was hoping to avoid the generic one-appearance-only look.
I actually didn't do too much erasing with this one (most was on the hand holding Kavs, since I was having a hard time with the positioning). Any erasing that I did do was of the very light guidlines that I drew, some of which you can still see because I left 'em there:P. Basically, I draw really light lines in first, and then darken the ones that I want to keep, so that is why it looks cleaner than if I just went in and drew all the lines dark at first.
