OOC( this is a thread for Myenna so she can get use to the ways of Forum Role Play, no offense to anyone, but this is where i want it to be just her and I. The young one needs to be taught. ^_^ please dont take offense to this-Kal)
Kal layed his head down drowsily upon his paws, barely able to keep his eyes open as he let out a big and long yawn. As he did so he stretched slightly causing the hair upon the scruff of his neck to raise on end and his toes to part as he outstretched his forelegs. He moaned lightly as he rolled over onto his side and let his eyes flutter shut. The unusal sun was beaming down upon him and warming his fur. This felt good to Kal and he didnt want it to end. The occasional breeze of chilled air made Kal shiver slightly but soon was warmed by the sun again.

A loud snap echoed through the air followed by a yowl. Myenna crumpled to the ground in pain. She could feel the claws of the fox trap digging through her muscle to her bone. Any movement sent a lightning bolt of pain through her whole body. She tried to pry the trap from her leg with her teeth, but that just made the claws twist and dig deeper. She wimpered loudly. How was she going to get out? Her blood was draining quicly, and her white paws were already died a deep crimzon. Would she die here?

Kal heard the yelp and knew what the snapping sound was, he never did like to see another creature hurt, unless it was his dinner; but thats a different story. He quickly rushed over to where he beleived he heard the wreched sound. He slowed down and was cautious of revealing himself to the other creature, he sniffed the air silently and caught the scent of a female dog.
He sighed slightly in releif that she was not a rabid bear or other creature that could tear him limb from limb. He revealed himself to her with his head held low in a non threatning manner.
"i know this is gonna sound like a stupid question...but are you okay?"
He knew very well that she was NOT okay and was going to die if he did not help her.
"um, if you'll let me i can help you out of that fox trap"
His voice was calm and oddly soothing. His expressions and acts were contrary to the way he looked. His scars told a different story than that of what he was saying.

"Get away from me!" she growled. The presence of another creature around while she was in this state did not comfort her. She was vunerable and he could very easily be lying. He was covered in scars after all, so he couldn't be the kindest of dogs.
She bared her teeth and growled deeply, but when she tried to back up another burst of pain shot through her, this one worse than those before it, and she fell to the ground, unable to stand.

"your going to end up choping your leg in half if you keep that up missy."
He replied in a calm and yet stern voice, under these kind of circumstances sometimes a bit of controll is needed. He approached her with his head and tail held high. He sniffed around the trap and the scent of her blood was overflowing his nostrils. He shook his head some then looked back into her eyes.
"stay still"
He said coldly as he placed a paw just under hers and gripped one of the sides of the trap, cutting his muzzle some he forced it open and back down. He looked up at her with somewhat of a painful look.
"GIT"
He said as he was starting to bleed as well and was not going to be able to hold the trap forever for her to simply lay there in aw.

She pulled her paw away, but instead of running, just stood and stared at him. Not only was she too injured to run, but she was amazed that this dog had hurt himself to help her. He had been so kind, it was like nothing she had ever experianced before. She couldn't leave. She had to know more about him.
"Who are you?" she asked.

He shook his head and little droplets of blood spattered somewhat. He pawed at his muzzle then licked his paw and sat down infront of her.
" you know those traps can be life-threatening?"
He replied with a smile on his face and moved to her hurt foreleg. He sniffed it lightly then began licking her wound. He paused for a moment remembering her question.
" oh and the names Kalsyfer, but you can call me Kal for short"
His smile seemed somewhat crooked but yet sweet and sincere.

Kal's rough tounge on her leg smarted awfully, but she held still as he cleaned her wound. Though she was getting weaker by the second, she tried to remain somewhat dignified.
"Of course I know they're life threatening. Why do you think I was trying to get out." Her tone was snobbish and high-and-mighty like she had used on other male dogs before, but when he smiled at her, she regretted having used it on him. She wasn't quite sure how to react to his behavior, really. He didn't seem to have any attraction to her like so many other's had before, but he had still stayed to help her. Her mind just couldn't comprehend what was happening, so she tried not to think about it and just take things as they came.
"Thank you," she said, "for helping me, but shouldn't you be caring for your own wounds? You're hurt, too."

He sat upon his haunches and smiled a corky smile at her. Her question to him was somewhat a suprise. He then looked down at his muzzle and lightly laughed.
" Oh this?, its nothing. Ive had far worse done than this. Yeah it stings a bit, but not enough to make me want to do anything about it.
His fur on his muzzle was starting to mat with blood as he looked back at her with a lame eye and an almost totally missing ear. He looked like he had been through a lot of harsh things, but you could hardly tell by his deminor. He perked a brow to her as he could tell she was going through some confusion.
"are you gonna be okay, you seem lost"
His soft and gentle voice slightly chuckled as he stood back up, taller than the female infront of him he lowered his head to match her eyes.

Kalsyfer's face so close to her's sent a sweet, cold, pain to her stomach, and she blushed underneath her white and black fur.
"Yes, I am," she say. "I mean, yes, I'm okay. I'm not lost. I just..." she looked down at her foreleg, which was still open and torn so much that you could see the bone in some place. "I need somewhere to stay until this heals. I know I won't be able to walk far on it. Could you help me?" She hated the humans for the traps the set out for such purpose as to catch and kill innocent animals, but at the same time, she was thankful that she might be able to spend more time with Kal, even if it did come at such a price.

Kal took another look at her wouind as he lightly chuckled at her response. He then walked around her, placing his head under her foreleg and slipping underneath of her to where she was laying on his back.
"you dont need to walk while im here/"
He said this calmly and lightheartedly. He kept himself still enough so that the smaller Border Collie would not slide or fall off of his back. He walked gracefully and avoided all obsticles in his way to come to a small but warm and inviting uninhabited cave.
"this isnt to bland for you is it?"
He joked with her, he figured she at one point in time was with a human and had a soft and comfortable life. This wilderness and terrain was completly different than the human life most dogs lived.

Myenna made no objection as Kalsyfer slid under her and lifted her onto his back. She adjusted herself so that she wouldn't fall, and layed still as the mix carried her off to a cave where she supposed she would be staying.
This isn't to bland for you, is it? Not sencing the joke, she cocked her head slightly and replied,
"No. It's fine"
Slowly, Myenna slid off of Kal's back and layed down on the cave floor. She breathed in deeply, taking in the smells of the place. A varitey of musty scents filled her nose and she sneezed in displeasure. She hoped she would get used to it soon.
Other than the smell, the cave seemed a comfortable place to live. A few small plants that had found patches of dirt inside were sprouting on the floor, and a couple of vines made their way up the walls. Rocks made ledges and steps along the sides, and the cave when just far enough back to provide protection against storms or anything like that.
She uttered no thanks of any kind to Kal, not out of dissrespect, but simply out of bad habit. Instead, she slowly, carefully got to her feet, limped a few steps farther into the cave, layed down again, and continued gazing around the cave.

Kal shruged her somewhat rudeness off and glanced around. There really wasnt much, but it was a safe enough spot to let the female lay and heal her wounds. He was new to the place, but knew his way around because he scouted around for a few hours. He hadnt gotten to know the local plant life but he assumed that there were some medicinal herbs around.
"I'll be back with some bandages and possibly some food, you look starved."
He smiled kindly at her as he trotted out to the mouth of the cave and peered about the area before he lept off into the distance in search of large leaves that could be used for her wounds and possibly some berries or maybe even a rabbit to satisfy Myenna's hunger.

Myenna had forgotten how hungry she was until Kal brought up food. She had been hunting before she had gotten caught in that trap, and now her empty stomach gurgled loudly begging for something to eat.
Kal bounded away from the cave and Myenna layed her head down on her good paw to wait for his return. She tried to consentrate on something other than her stomach, but this was not such an easy task.
Kal was so kind to her. She simply couldn't get over the fact that he had selflessly helped her in her time of need. She nad never done anything to deserve such kind treatment, especially from a stranger. All her life, she'd done nothing for anyone, looking out for no one but herself, and only thing about what would make her life more conveniant, even if it ment tearing down others. Perhaps she shouldn't have been saved...
She was startled by the thought that had just come to her, and quickly shook it away. Decideing it would be best to think of nothing while whe waited for Kal's return, she simply laid there in the silence that was occationaly interupted by the gurgling of her stomach.

It had been a few hours later and the day turned into dusk. The air was starting to get heavy with dew inside the cave as Kal returned. He had captured a couple rabbits and found a sick fawn of a doe and took it down. He had piled the two rabbits ontop fo the fawn and had dragged them all the way back to the cave where he knew Myenna would be waiting for him. Even if she wasnt the type to take to kindness, she was in no condition to run away.
He dragged the fresh meat into the cave and soon the smell of blood was heavy in the cave. From a distance the gurgling of Myenna's stomach echoed through the cave. Kal put down the food and lighly chuckled.
"Didnt think your stomach would welcome me back before you would Myenna."
He said in a sweet and calm voice as he tore into the deer and brought her the best and juicyest part of it. He wasnt about to let such a beautiful dog simply starve to death. Kal was rarely hungry, but when he was he feasted. It was a few days eairlier when Kal had last eaten and he was still feeling the affects of eating too much.
He brought her a small pile to finish before he would go and get her some more; so he laid down beside her and rested his head upon his paws and watched her with his blue eyes and a slight smile on his face.
