She turned to face him with something like mock intensity in her eyes and stated flatly. "Bug Hunting."
[ew short.]

Raising an eyebrow, Dinari couldn't help but find this amusing. The false intensity in her eyes could help but make him give Kitty a smart ass grin.
"Bug hunting, eh?" he laughed. "Did you catch anything good, or was the pray far too elusive?"
(Ew short as well.)

"Well you just saw what I caught, but he hopped away before I pulled you out. Speaking of which, you could use a bath. " She mentioned, pointing out that he was covered in the thick pervasive mud. One could imagine that it probably did not smell at all appealing either.

Dinari gave Katiana a small grimace before attempting to rid his body of the mud. She was right, he did need a bath. The horrible stench flooded into his nose. Yuck.
"Thanks for the advice," he grumbled.
(Very yucky short. Blech.)

She chuckled softly and started padding slowly down the pass. "There's a little pond not far from here...s'long as you're not afraid of fish you could bathe there..cuse I don't think you want to lick that off."

The grimace never vanished as Dinari looked up at Kitty. As much as he hated to admit it, she was right.
"Yeah," he replied. "I better head down there."
With one final attempt to scrape the mud off with his claws, he began to head toward the pond. He couldn't wait to clean himself off.
"Where you headed to next?" Why did he ask that? Dinari let out a small growl at himself for doing such a thing. Damn it, he was attracted to her.

She padded along beside him. "Meh, might as well come along..." She winced at her feet, the thick brown mud beginnign to cake of her black paws. "Bah...irratating sludge."

"Yeah," he agreed. "The damn stuff is only good for two things. Number one, to bug the hell out of me and number two, to chuck at the heads of people you hate."
Of course, Dinari wasn't kidding. He literally did this and has gotten in multiple fights for doing so. Would he ever stop? Probably not.

She let out a barking sort of laugh and shook her head. "I like to lead peopel I don't like up here and let them get stuck in the mud, kinda like you were, and then jump up on the rocks above, and stay well away from them, where I can laugh at them."

Joining Katiana in her laughter, Dinari gave her a large smirk. For once, someone didn't disapprove of his actions. As much as he hated to admit it, he liked this feline.
"Nice," he commented. "Very nice."

She started down the slope towards the pond, hopping here and there to avoid larger rocks. "Meh, it only sucks when they start figuring out how to chuck the mud up at me in their attempts to get out. Then it becomes the rock hopping game."

"Then you have to kick their ass, right?"
Coping Kitty's movements, he followed closely and continued the conversation. More and more he was beginning to like this female. She was tough, rude, and crude. He liked it.
Dinari couldn't help but smile as he spoke with her. A friendship was defiantly beginning to develop in his mind. He didn't care if Katiana felt the same way.

"Or I just run off and leave them sitting there chest deep in mud, wailing like idiots. " She laughed softly and looked over her shoulder at him, the action costing her a point of graceful movement as she tripped over a rock and nearly face-planted. She offed softly and skipped a step to avoid such a manuever into the ground and then laughed. "Yes, I am the mistress of all things graceful...please, no applause."

Letting out a chuckle, Dinari looked at Kitty and raised his brow. He shook his head slightly as he spoke.
"Jeez," he grumbled playfully. "And you made fun of me back there."

" Ah ah ah, I wasn't chest deep in mud." She tsked at him and padded along, eventually coming to the bottom of the hill were the small pond lay.
