Echo smiled thoughtfully to her sleeping mate. She always woke up early, but today was different today was earlier than normal perhaps unique. The female alpha drew a deep joyful breath and arose. She soothingly leaned over and gave Wesley a tender lick on the nose and left the den the two had spent the evening in.
She beamed as a gust of icy morning air weaved through her thick coat of fur. Echo knew something was going on in Hallow was it good or bad she did not know but she did know it was now her responsibility. The alpha gracefully took a step toward the heart of Hallow where she believed that’s where something was happening.
As the female came to the center of Hallow through a thick fog she saw several people laughing with joy in front of a small house. She smiled lightly and approached the gathering. Several laughing men a few women and four children her sitting happily in front of large box that looked like it had a warm plush interior. Echo leisurely padded forward looking up into all of the happy faces of the people, they patted her happily and brought her to the front of the box. Inside layed a small very new human pup that wiggled with the sight of the female alpha. Echo grinned widely and let out a light very soft bark of joy, which was followed by several laughs from the humans. With out another word the humans lifted the small crate and brought the young one inside.
Echo smiled happily knowing she was able to meet the new child in Hallow. Just as the female turned to stroll away, she saw something out of the corner of her eye. She gently leaned down and grasped it between her teeth. It had been a small baby booty that had been ignorantly left behind. She took a deep sniff, and smiled as the happy smell surged through her body. She new her mate would appreciate this and would love having this smell to go along with the new news. Echo blissfully turned aging a dashed off back to her dearest mate.
The collie quietly approached the cave trying her hardest to not awake her dozing mate and softly laid the booty in front of the alpha , and slowly took her spot next to him. She lovingly placed her head cheek to cheek with Wesley’s own and closed her eyes trying to resume her rest.

Wesley smiled amidst a dream as he felt the gentle tickle of Echo's loving tongue on the tip of his snout, but he barely acknowledged it. The lovely and vivacious collie was up too early for Wesley to want to open his eyes and greet the cool of morning just after dawn with all the moisture in the air. Wesley always found mornings cold even if they were a most beautiful time of day. The songs one could hear through the trees and in birdsong along with everything else. Even the stillness and sleep which he sometimes wished he was still enveloped in was wonderful and appreciated.
Echo is gone. Somewhere in the very dim consciousness of Wes's mind he realized that Echo had left the den. What for? Wesley thought drearily as he rearranged himself slightly to prevent himself from becoming overly stiff. Mornings could do that too, make you stiff. Echo was probably out for a morning stroll and it wouldn't make any sense to grow worried over her leaving. She was oddly interested in wandering and meeting folks since she was so peaceful and serene. That's why Wes loved her, but he wished his vague consciousness would stop harrying about her not being beside him, but then she was.
A smile broadened across Wesley's maw as he felt the warm pressure of Echo against himself, his attempts to drowse failing and motivating him to waken fully. "'Lo love." He murmured, not feeling particularly keen to part his lips and hearing the uncomfortable gravel in his voice from not speaking yet.
Wesley raised his head and nuzzled Echo fondly about the ears before inhaling the scents to know the stories of where she had been so early. People and happiness. Ah, what a perfect place for Echo. Wes thought as he construed the info his nose gave him, but there was more and he didn't quite understand. There was another un-living thing that Echo had brought back. "What's that?" He asked directing his attention towards the boot, large ears listing forward though he was too lazy to move his paws quite yet and reach it himself. Echo always loves presenting her discoveries anyway so best not ruin it for her anyway.

((Sorry for the short post))
Echo grinned blissfully knowing her arrival had comforted her mate. She giggled lightly watching her mate trying his hardest to not wake himself." Morning darling." She whispered tenderly in one of the alpha’s great ears. Echo had been fully awake, so while Wesley’s greeting had been slightly scratchy and rough hers had been cool and crisp.
Echo looked up towards her mate as he placed his head between her ears and nuzzled her peacefully. Echo's whole body shivered with love. She couldn’t imagine anything more claming than the nuzzle of her mate. Though her favorite part and not even begun yet. As Wesley breathed in Echo’s scent she laughed happily. She adored the way he did this every second of it. Echo knew the scent he would pick up she knew very well his senses were much keener than her own and could easily smell the emotions she had come across this fine morning.
The female alpha rolled her eyes jokingly reached her paw forward to bring the booty closer to the males nose. " You lazy bum." She laughed jokingly noticing how every morning her mate was always the one to sleep late." Do you know what it is or is it to early for you to guess anything." She grinned widely nuzzling Wesley back in return though this time she left her head on top of his, wishing they could stay in this peaceful position forever. " Its new news in Hallow." She murmured from the top of Wesley’s head her eyes shut gently. She sat for a few more moments before her schedule quickly popped into her brain. " After we awaken a bit more we're going to have to begin our daily chaos." She mumbled smiling lightly. " Can we work together to day? Greet the arrivals together, help the humans, and play with the children. We haven’t done that in while." She yawned stretched her jaw and every solitary tooth shown in the early morning sun. It had indeed been awhile since Echo and Wesley had done such a job together, normally they spilt up and met in the late afternoon and sometimes even in the early evening, perhaps today would unfold a different story.

Wesley smiled, his jaws closed, but happy as he inhaled the many gratifying scents of various levels of merriment and excitement. If Wesley didn't know better, he would have though he had slept through the day and Echo had gone to a party. It's nice to know some are happy in Hallow besides us. He thought, reflecting on many of the dogs' troubles who came and many of the disgruntled growls and barks of the humans on a daily basis. Still, the particular reason for such excitement and pleasure eluded Wesley from sniffing his mate's head.
Allowing a playful pout to inch across his features for a moment before pulling the booty towards him with his own paw, Wesley drank deeply its odor. "I can smell just fine any time of day." He replied coolly, still smiling and still gentle with sleepiness. Sniffing in the scent again to confirm what he guessed it could be -and verily knew- he turned towards Echo as she pressed her head atop his own. "Why Echo, it's a very small boot!" He exclaimed, finding himself rather surprised at the dimensions of the object more than anything else, while wondering somewhere in his mind why Echo had stolen a shoe for his gift today. Did no one need it?
"May I ask where the other of the pair is?" He said coaxingly, while permitting her to embrace him with her head crooked on top of his. It was nice to just be together in the morning. Certainly, Echo left him gifts but didn't always wait for him to discover them though they never remained discarded. Every prize was kept until it withered away if that was the nature of the object, but a tiny little shoe shouldn't decompose in the near future.
"Can we work together today?" Wesley was thoughtful upon his mate's request. It was true that they were rather solitary throughout the day because they had such a different manner of going about things though they worked wonders in unison. It was a charming idea to be with her. Why they had ever split up was something of a quandary. "Of course, love. If we didn't work together, what would there be of the pack or anything else here?" He said, his smile spreading into a grin. He knew the men-folk would get along without them, but they seemed most grateful whenever one of the more helpful canines appeared, and Hallow had become such a refuge for others. "Speaking of the others, shouldn't we see what they're about today as well?" It was only a suggestion, but if Echo was feeling like bonding with Wesley, they might try to bond with the rest of their small pack too.
OOC| That wasn't short you fruitcake. Also, please feel free anyone else to come along. We're almost out of the den and then this thread is fair game. Or, you can pop in and it'll prolly move faster.

Echo gazed down to her mate as a petite pout teasingly appeared on his face. “ I figured you could smell whenever required I just wanted to make sure.” Echo joked affectionately burying her head in Wesley’s Head fur. She knew he’d guess it quickly but this was one the two played almost every morning and this tradition was not likely to end anytime soon they both enjoyed it to a great extent. She sigh blissfully loving being able to spend this time with her dear Wesley this morning, she was usually off to work by now.
The female alpha couldn’t help but pick her head from her mate and laugh as he exclaimed what he thought it was.” Yes, yes it is.” She smiled bringing her cheek down to his own and rubbing it to his, but then with one swift motion brought her head back up aging. “ The other boot is with the new human pup that was born in the hours of darkness.” She smiled cheerfully knowing this information would cause Wesley great pleasure. He always seemed rather fond of human pups. She stared at her mate fondly not wanting to have to look away from him for a long while. “ Were you pleased I stayed this morning? “ She grinned tenderly batting her eyelashes though she knew her mate could not see her do so.
"Of course, love. If we didn't work together, what would there be of the pack or anything else here?" She knew her mate’s statement was so entirely true and smiled tenderly licking Wesley gratefully on the cheek. Though she considered it was rather odd to think when the pair got here there was nothing, no pack at all just a few stray and now it had turned into something so beautiful and lively but the credit should not go all to the alphas with out the many new arrivals this wonderful pack would not exist.
“ We’ll still go about and do everything as normal I suppose just together I’m Sure if any humans needed us they would be rather pleased to have both of our effort.” She stated thinking of her herding duty which could easily be unattended today she was quite sure the kind elderly man would be slightly upset if she didn’t show up but would expect her arrival tomorrow. At Wesley’s suggestion the female spread an adoring smile across her maw and looked towards her mate. “ What ever you would like to do darling I would love to go visit with the others perhaps some are even in need of our service.” She finished not moving her loving gaze from her mate. She rose quietly and stretched. “ C’mon we should probably start the day. we’re off to some what of a late start at least for me anyway.” She giggled waiting for Wesley outside the small unfamiliar den. She had earlier wanted to spend alone time with her dear mate but she knew it was unfair to every one to keep him to herself, she knew they could simply head back early tonight and she could regain that time with him aging.
OOc: We will probably need members to come and rp once we get to the pack, and also we don’t expects several paragraphs from anyone as long you do your best We would happily accept your post.

OOC|Oh my gosh. I typed up a huge post and it got erased. *is ticked* You'll have to make do with a loser re-write because I can't write that out again.
Wesley marveled at the minute size of the little soft booty. It was so small that he couldn't even if his mitt inside. How human feet grew! Most little pups had large feet to begin with and just grew into them. The differences between human and canine we obvious in even this small object which Echo had brought him. It really was a delight to know that new life had come to the village. The joy that would be had by the many folks there! Wesley imagined that many folks wouldn't be working today or not as hard on the account of a single new pup in the human home. Even one can bring immense happiness. He reflected whilst feeling the weight of Echo's head on his. Why was it affectionate to place weight on another?
"I am very glad you stayed this morning." Wesley replied. "It's usually a cold awakening when you leave so early." He said with a mock shiver while rising to shake off little flecks of dirt and fill his coat with warmth after being matted from slumber. It was time to truly greet the day.
His muzzle lowered to snag the small boot on his lower teeth before he turned back to Echo. She was always so thoughtful with her gifts; he hoped that their little merriments would not be cut short any time soon. They added such an extra light to his darkness of every day. "We best not let the new human pup already have his precious paw-cover be gnawed by dog teeth." He said, enjoying the delicate piece of leather as it dangled from his teeth. Humans were extremely amusing in their attire, but he supposed it was necessary since they were excruciatingly lacking in fur.
Moving from the warm darkness of the den, Wesley greeted the late morning; feeling immediately the sensation of the spring sun trickling through the trees and heating the earth about him. Inhaling, he could smell the essence of melted snow wafting from higher places and the newness that always came with spring. The very grass between his toes was newly grown blades that appeared after the frost. Now, into the village of cobblestones he'd go that were always the same year after year. He would pay a visit to the house of the newborn as well. "Let the day begin." He declared, beginning his decent from the grassy knoll into the village only twenty paces away.

Ooc: Aging sorry for the shortness and wait Echo watched Wesley happily as he studied the boot putting his paw inside of it and what not. " Isn’t it amazing they start out so small." She smiled noticing his sudden devotion of attention towards her present. It was indeed odd to think of something so tiny growing into a being larger than herself. Though it did take much more time for a human to grow then a dog, maybe that’s why they grew so large. The true answer alpha did not know and most likely never would know. She also knew like her mate that the new arrival would bring much joy to the town causing work t slow down today.
The alpha smiled warmly Her asking her mate if he was happy she stayed was more of a joke but her mate answered it perfectly so adoring and sweet. Echo took a deep warm sigh filling her lungs with the clod morning air. She beamed as she stared to the sky as the sun slowly was beginning to emerge; she knew it was going to be a perfect rather breezy day perfect for a dog. Echo turned her head at the sound of Wesley getting up. She continued to stand outside waiting for her mate to take her side and they would merrily enter they're small town together.
The female glanced toward her mate wondering what was causing such a hold up she . She grinned, as her darling appeared with the small leather booty hanging from his mouth he was always so considerate of others. " I think you are right, the little pup most likely wouldn’t like to have his little paws get to cold. Having his booty chewed wouldn’t help either." The alpha smiled warmly taking several small steps towards the village and began her short journey. " Would you like to visit the new human pups house first, and then greet the pack?" Echo suggested gleefully , she was quite ready to step on the cold cobble stone with her mate and venture into another day.

Enjoying the consistency of the soft booty against his tongue, Wesley resisted the urge to chew upon the substance himself. It was not frequent that there was a texture worth chewing besides food for the alpha. He wasn't a large fan of gnawing on shoes or sticks or bones. He liked to eat the meat and savour the taste of the nourishment, but this booty was so soft! It was like tenderloin, but without as much flavour. Wesley grinned at the idea of a steak which would never be his to mounch and moved up alongside Echo.
Echo was in full form today in all her bright, sweet charm. How they managed as alphas to stay away from each other and have things accomplished was no small miracle. Wesley felt security beside his mate though his senses served him well to see, he knew that Echo would always be his eyes if there was something he didn't catch. Besides, in most regards they balanced each other: male-female, loud(er)-soft...Wesley shook his head. He didn't really wan to compare himself to Echo; it might bring unwanted results in some small competitive portion of himself.
"Let us go the new human's home. There will be a great deal of hustle and bustle there, but I imagine the more is the merrier. We are clean after all aren't we?" He said, swiping his tongue about his muzzle and sniffing slightly for any unpleasant odors. No, Wesley smelled like a dog with a shoe in his jaws. Of course, to Wesley, Echo smelled wonderful. She always managed to remind him of sweet things from bakery shops or candied meets. Something about the level of her words seemed sugary and candy-like at all times even when she wasn't terribly perky.
"Although we're off to the human house, I wonder where the pack is today, Echo. We are so small and separated even if we act unified." He said, beginning his assent from the knoll. There were so many who had considered being part of Hallow, but so few were. If only decisions could be demanded, but that simply wasn't the right way.
OOC|Okay, now would be a nice time for others to hop in.
