ATTENTION FIDDLE! Hey, sorry about this, this thread was began before you took over the character. You don't mind playing it, do you? *Prancing with high paws, a small dog hummed her way through the woods. Her eyes were closed in concentration, so it didn't bother her that her large ear was flopped over her eye. Her clurled tail held high, Paradigh smiled ear to ear. This is the way she always was. Her pendant tinkled to the beat at which she walked. Music was a great part of her life. Not only did it sooth her ever loving soul, but it was to her almost a religious expierence...today the world was hers!* *Paradigh was by no means unhappy with her old home. She loved the humans, for thier love and thier entertainment value. But early this morning she had woken up with a calling in her soul. So she got herself up, and followed where the song led her. It must have been strange seeing such a small dog making it's way through the wilds, but the grey mutt could smell dogs....somewhere! Paradigh was no spring chicken, so she hoped that her little black nose wasnt playing a trick on her!* Oh? *The little mutt stopped in her tracks, black tipped ear perking forward....was that voices? Paradigh grunted with frustration when she realized her wieghed down ear was once again in her eye. With a poof, she blew it back to the side of her head. Her golden eyes furrowed in concentration* Now I coulda sworn...

Sonny stood sniffing a tree, he had sworn he just caught scent of another animal and urinated to mark his scent there, he was on the trail of another animal before he caught scent of the new canine, he'd been hoping for a meal but when an intruder was around there was no time to find prey.
He lifted his head to sniff the breeze, yes canine, he just hoped it was friendly it didn't smell like a wolf in any case, but it did smell slightly of humans. Beaver was now slightly worried, humans were usually bad news. He sighed, so much for a snack, he began heading toward the scent looking around and swaying his head occasionally.
"Okay where are you?" he said quietly to himself.
The one good thing was there was no scent of humans with the dog meaning it was probably a stray and had no idea how to fight, which was always an advantage to a wild dog. Sonny hated fighting but if he had to he would, he sniffed again he was close now, so very close. He knew soon he'd see the intruder. Then he spotted it, a grey dog, a strange looking grey dog, definitely belonged with humans at one time. Sonny barked to let his presence be known and stood among the trees watching.

((OOC: Well I think these two will hit it off! And don't mind the dialect typing, just practicing))
Oh my!
*The sound of the deep resonating bark of the Borzio caused the little dog to jump, but when Paradigh saw Sonny waiting in the distant trees. Se smiled ear to giant ear, sending her curled tail right over her back, flying in a flurry of sparatic wags*
Now I THOUGHT I'd smelt sumtin, din ya go'n bark and din I KNOW I ain't imaginin' things!
*Paradigh spoke while she walked, her gait only just begining to show the stiffness of her oncoming age. When the scruffy mutt spoke, it was never to one person in particular. So instead of looking her greeter in the eye, she tended to keep her gaze on the path before her. This was not a sign of a submissive nature, but because Paradigh was so used to nobody heeding what she said. The years of her words falling on silent ears made her speak to the air, or whoever was listening. Her wieghed down ear swung like a pendulam, keeping time with the pace of her approach*
*When finnaly Paradigh reached her destination, she looked up to see she was eye level...with Sonny's knees! HEr golden eyes were filled with surprise as she followed her gaze up to meet his face*
My my my! Ain't YOU a big fella!

He laughed "Well I guess you could say that, I'm not that big compared to some here though. Nice to meet you I'm Sonny, but friends call me Beaver"
He wagged his tail back in a friendly manner looking at the strange canine, well finally someone who knew how to relax, this would be fun, rather then tensing up or backing down she marched right up. Well it was a nice change he smiled, and tilted his head to the side waiting to hear the strangers name.
He continued to wag his tail and smile as he normally did, Beaver might have been big but he was friendly, it helped him to get along with everyone, he didn't look threatening and could almost always be seen with a goofy smile on his face, surprising to some that he looked silly often.
He thought for a moment about the strangers accent, it was funny but friendly, he couldn't imagine her growling at anyone. That was a good thing, with strangers this friendly who even needs friends, well yeah he still needed friends that was for sure but he already considered the stranger to be friendly and hoped they would get along.

*Paradigh liked this dog imadiatly. From his smiling eye to his dancing tail, this Sonny seemed to exemplify her casual attitude towards life. She was happy back in Hallow, to be sure. She loved her owner and the dogs were pleasant enough, but everyone took life too seriously. That's why she believed that by following the song she heard, she would find...something...it was beyond the little grey mutt what was waiting for her. Paradigh looked up and smiled. He treated her like a friend, so she would treat him as one*
Beaver, ain't dat a funny lil' name...'course my name's Paradigh, so I shouldn't talk...
*Paradigh really liked him. It wasn't a matter of a crush at frist sight, the girl just liked his soul. Don't get her wrong, she believed in love, just not for her. The little dog was just impressed with Sonny's personality. Her big pink tounge lolled out in a smile*
So, Beaver, ya decide to go out on a walk dis mornin' too, or...oh dear...
*The golden eyes of Paradigh landed on the sky, and caused her whole head to shoot upwards. It was by no means morning anymore. In fact, the rays of sun gleaming through the evergreens dectated that is was much later. This, however, didn't phase the odd mutt, and with her head still erect, she declared*
Well, it shore ain't mornin' anymore!

Sonny smiled "No it isn't time flies when your having fun, I was actually out hunting when I caught your scent"
He decided not to tell her he had originally felt slightly threatened, would a pet understand? Probably not, to a pet dog the only threat of other animals are intruders peeing on their front lawn, THEN it's considered a threat and not before. Sonny considered most pets to be stupid, he was convinced that they were not as smart as other dogs but he hoped Paradigh was different, shame to have a friend duller than himself, he laughed inwardly at this making sure not to show evidence on the outside.
Sonny hoped sincerely he could stay in contact with his new friend, even if she didn't fancy pack life it was nice to meet someone relaxed much like himself. Bugger responsibility it was happiness that counted, which reminded him he was suppose to be hunting, that was all that was needed other than sleeping in life that didn't involve being happy... Well unless forced to fight or something. Sonny thought about that, being forced to fight wasn't fun, but if the pack required protecting he'd have to do it.
He continued his smile, still doing what he did best, being happy and looking goofy.

*Paradigh smiled back at the borzoi, the shock at his size now subsided. Paradigh was funny like that. Everything happens, and then goes into the past. Water off a ducks back. Her curly little tail wiggled in tune with his. Things really had worked out today. The girl set out listening to a new song in her heart, and she met yet another dog with her laid back personality.*
Huntin’, eh? That’ll mean ya one of them wild dogs then? Hey…wait just one moment…
*Paradigh’s huge ear perked forward and her eyes fell into concentration. She got to her feet and walked right up to Sonny. With a stiff little leap, the mutt stood on her front feet, stepping her black leg a little forward. Without even considering that this might be bad etiquette, she placed her erect ear against his chest. She closed her eyes and her tail began swinging in a rhythmic beat. A low note emerged from her mouth, and she began, very slowly, to hum a simple tune. The song became faster, as did the movements of her tail. On one particular high note, Paradigh yipped happily and jumped back down, sitting herself right in front of the hound*
Well, I’ll be! If ya ain’t one of the notes I was hearin!
(Sorry for the short post, Fiddle. This must give you a bad impression of my skills, but I’m only on lunch break! Sorry!)
